I visited this spot for the first time recently, and I had a great time! The best parts of my visit: our server and the patio :) Our server’s name was Crystal, and she took fantastic care of us! She was extremely hospitable, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. As a former server myself, I really appreciate excellent service — and Crystal is the bee’s knees! I will definitely return to this bar because of her, and I will request to sit in her section. Second, the patio is really great! Very relaxing with fire pits and warmers once the sun goes down. Oh, and they have a nice beer selection and good happy hour. Plus, you get any of their burgers for $ 5 on Tuesdays — I was a very happy lady hanging by the fire, drinking a cold beer, and eating a tasty burger. Thanks, Crystal, for everything!

I haven’t eaten here yet but did order dessert once. The chocolate cake was amazing! So much better than I expected at a bar. Drinks are good but seemed weak to me. Service is good. Will update when I order dinner here.

My husband and I ate here for the first time this past Wednesday and the food was great!!:) My husband got the Drunken fish and chips and I got the Blackened fish tacos, which were both fresh and seasoned well. Our server was ok… I could tell he was a bit annoyed at first because we both did not order alcoholic drinks and it was happy hour time, but once we ordered food he perked up LOL! The ambience was very nice and laid back and I loved all the outdoor seating options. I would for sure go back!

So excited that we now have a great spot to have happy hour or even dinner close to home! From the moment you walk in you feel the excitement from the staff and can’t wait to join the party! We sat at the bar and immediately got greeted! The bartender suggested the double melon martini and wow! That is a dangerous drink as its so yummy I could sit there all night sipping on those! We split the spinach dip and bartender was so nice and brought out a side of queso and salsa to enjoy with it. Manager, I believe his name was CR, came by to make sure that we were taken care of. So nice to see that this place has their managers checking to make sure everything is good. We will definitely be back and have already told many people to go there! Can’t wait to go back!

I always liked Bar Louie and the closest one was Stapleton so was happy when one opened in DTC, been there a few times now and this is probably the best one, clean and fun environment, tons of beers and cool signature drinks to choose from, food is exceptional! I like that they added a brunch on Saturday and Sundays with bottomless mimosa’s. Staff is always friendly and I’ve gotten great service every time I went. Way to go Bar Louie, keep it up!

In three years, this place has been 3 different places, so I had low hopes for it, but I was very pleasantly surprised! There is a wide selection of drinks, and the place is much classier now! Although its a bit overpriced, I saw that they have a really good happy hour. The service was great and the food was delicious… one of the best veggie wraps I have ever had! Hopefully THIS place stays in business.

No, food is ok. Calamari not as good, wings not hot, flatbread was edible. The food seems to be on the sweet side and it takes over from the dish itself. Dissapointment in the food. Drinks are pricey

Found my new place for Happy Hour in DTC. Great drink specials, service staff was awesome and the vibe was very cool. Easy to get to as well. I’ve been to other Bar Louie locations before, but this one is the best by far. Indoors is open and inviting, and the patio is the bomb. Manager even came by to make sure everything was good. Other DTC places at Happy Hour seem crowded and hectic. But even though there were a lot of people here, I never felt cramped. Friends have told me lunch and dinner here are similar as well. Will have to try that out soon.

This was my first stop into bar Louie here in the Denver area and it wasn’t bad. We stopped in on a Friday night and the bar had a decent vibe. The beer was cold and arrived quickly. Prices seem to be ok 60oz of beer for about $ 25…not cheap but not astronomical. You get what you pay for I suppose. My only complaint was smelling the smoke from outside. It was faint and only happened when someone opened the«back door». Next time I’d prefer to sit at the bar. I’ll probably be back to hit up their burger special(I think Tuesday)…$ 5 for any speciality burger plus tots or fries.

The last three times… Pro They have cucumber vodka and a couple yummy drinks they make with it.(R&R) Cons Slow inattentive service. If you can’t remember the order you need to write it down. If we ask you for the bill it shouldn’t take 20 more minutes. Poor quality and taste of food.(Lettuce wraps has yellow romaine lettuce = sour, shrimp filling over doused in soy sauce arms did not seen fresh — chop chop salad, lacking flavor, there is only so much dressing you can use) Lack of customer service. As a manger I feel you should listen and try to empathize with you costumer make them feel like you are listening to them. This is the livelihood of your establishment, don’t you want me to come back? I won’t be back and I won’t be recommending. Unfortunate because it is a great location!

Friendly and attentive staff, great Happy Hour, and pretty good food for a Bar. I had the Roasted Veggie Flatbread Pizza during Happy hour which was ½ off and quite tasty. Bought a Blue Moon beer and found out it was the«Beer of the Month» so a tall was the price of a small. Overall I was very happy with my experience.

Very nice, quick and attentive service. Kitchen messed up my burger but server and manager were more concerned about it than I was so I would definitely come back anyway. Much faster food than neighboring places.

I’ve been to quite a few Bar Louie’s in my day and have always been mildly impressed. This location, a previous tilted kilt, just opened a few months ago and yesterday I had a hankering for cold draft beer so off to Happy Hour we went. Happy hour runs from 3 – 7 offering discounted drinks and appetizers, which we gladly took advantage of. With lots of beers on tap, $ 5 martini’s and cheap mixed drinks, everything seems to be a great deal. We ordered draft beer and noshed on the ½ price wings and loaded tots. So good! The space has greatly improved, as it’s more intimate, classy and feels cozy. The patio is still quite an attraction and offers a fireplace and lots of seating! Although this chain isn’t my absolute favorite, they have improved and I know we’ll be back!

The happy hour prices are great. The service is VERY hit and miss. I sat on the patio for 15 minutes without service my most recent trip here, and when I told the server when she finally came she was unapologetic and said«oh, I guess we didn’t see you.»(In a VERY rude fashion.) After being greeted at the door and being told to «sit anywhere on the patio.» So yeah, not a great experience.

1st time here, 6 people at the bar on a Sunday afternoon and Chelsea acted like we were a nuisance. Live and work in the DTC and will probably not come here again. On the other hand Beer and food were good. Bought 6 $ 7 beers, 2 meals and an appetizer. $ 85+

I came here with a girlfriend for dinner and drinks on a Friday night. Both the hostess and our server were very friendly. We could tell our server was either a little overwhelmed by the crowd or maybe new so still learning the ropes, but she remained sweet and upbeat the whole time. That being said, service was a little slow. But it was a girls night and we had drinks so we were fine. My favorite burger here is the blue Louie: blue cheese, bacon, spinach, buffalo sauce, and then I get a side of ranch to add to it. I get the turkey burger option but you can get regular, chicken breast, or a portabella too. It was cooked medium just like I requested and was dripping with saucy goodness. My friend got the roasted veggie flatbread. It had a nice combination of flavors. I prefer a super crispy crust(which this did not have) but she likes a softer crust so she enjoyed it. I splurged on dessert. And by dessert I mean the s’mores martini. Let me just say — oh em gee! I could have drank 5 of those things. I’m normally not a huge sweets person but I do love me some Godiva liqueur. It was topped with marshmallows, chocolate syrup, and a graham cracker rim. I’m salivating just reminiscing about it. They have $ 5 martinis during happy hour so I’d like to go back to try some other of their other specialty drinks… or just have multiple s’mores martinis. Either way, there will be return visits.

This it the 3rd business that I know of to be in this location. This is so far the best offering in the space. We had 20 – 30 friends meet her for the game today. The wait staff was very accommodating. We were able to reserve a big section of space and had no problems getting food or beverages. The reason for 2 stars is their sound. If you are going to be a sports bar… get your sound system up to par for games. When you can barely if at all hear the game that’s on nearly every TV you really need to take care of that sound. I think this was also an issue with the other businesses that were in this space. It would be great to have a place that stayed and actually was fun to come to because you could hear things. Step it up Louie, we’d like you to stay.

We’ve been to the space when it was Tilted Kilt, then frequented it when it became Fat Willy’s. We were bummed to see Fat Willy’s go, but perhaps the more ‘upscale’ Bar Louie would be a better fit for the the collection of shops in the area. They stripped the space down and got rid of the pool table, shuffle board, games and all the TV’s except for 8 wrapped around above the bar. They have high tables, low tables as well as groups of sofas next to a fireplace. It has dark wood tables, counter tops and trim, colorful tile accents and black leather type chairs all around. Lighting is soft and the space has a classy and casual enough ambiance to bring a first date and won’t hurt your wallet. They have an excellent selection of crafted drinks. I love Dirty Martinis and tried their’s — it was made exactly how I would expect(5⁄5). I also ventured out of my comfort zone and tried their Sparklin Ruby Martini(Deep Eddy Ruby Red, St-Germain, La Marca Prosecco, fresh lemon juice) and their Cosmo. Both drinks were dangerously delicious(5⁄5). They also have a large selection of craft beers on tap. For food we’ve had the nachos(what you would expect — large portion and great for sharing 4⁄5), the ahi burger — tuna filet cooked a perfect seared rare(4⁄5), beef sliders — meh nothing special(3⁄5) and the strawberry shortcake/keylime pie(4⁄5) we requested extra keylime as it seemed to have a large proportion of cake to keylime. Service both times we’ve visited were professional and courteous. And for both times service could have been a bit more prompt, but we came with a small group both times and were very laid back guests, so it did not bother us a bit but may bother some. They don’t have too many healthy options on the menu, but we will certainly be back for the drinks, the apps and the atmosphere.
