The owner is outright rude and very cheap financially and in character. As a former Ace employee and a supporter of small businesses, I refuse to spend money at this store. I drive out of my way to go to the Highlands Ranch Ace.

An employee at Sierra Trading Post sent me over when they didn’t have what I needed. I needed a bungee cord to close my backpack around snowshoes I had bought at Sierra, so that I could safely bike home with my purchase. One employee here at Ace directed me to the right area, and Steve came over to help when I wasn’t finding the exact one I needed. Steve was kindly able to find it. I was very grateful for Steve’s attention and care. Thanks.

My mom isn’t very good at this so I’m doing it for her! She was incredibly happy with her service at the store. Not only were the girls in the back extremely helpful but even went with my mom to make sure that the key they had just cut would work! She definitely recommends the store to anyone in the area!

This store is what every local hardware store should be: well-​stocked, extremely helpful staff, good prices. Here is just one example: last weekend I went to the store looking to replace my backyard water spigot. I brought in the old one, and David showed me that all I needed was a new washer, which cost a grand total of fifty-​nine cents plus tax. On top of that, he spent a good ten minutes replacing the washer for me. He didn’t have to do any of that, but he did. Not only was he a terrific representative for Ace, but it’s obvious that the store management encourages that kind of customer attention and care. That is the epitome of outstanding customer service, and it’s why I’ll make a point of going back to this Ace Hardware any time I need anything. (In writing this review I have probably spent only a quarter of the time that David spent on me.)

Walked in needing advice on a minor plumbing issue. Someone came to help me right away (unlike a big box store with the initials HD).
Derrick (I think) told me what I needed and said plumbing problems usually take three trips. Minus the two trips to HD, and getting the eye roll and I can’t help you call the manufacturer. I was done after 3 trips to Ace. I wish I would have gone there first.
I also got a very girly hot pink leopard print tool box @ Ace, they have won my business! I live with walking distance of HD but won’t go there again because of their attitude towards customers. Ace really is the place!

I really liked this ACE. They are so friendly and helpful here. They also have a little gift shop up front which is nice for birthdays and holidays. Locally owned, plus they do coupons, which is rare for Home Depot and Lowes. They also have a post office station so you can skip the line at your usual P.O.

It’s great to have a complete hardware store that’s close to home and that offers great customer service. The layout of the store is very simple, but there is never a shortage of staff to help you find what you need. Easy to get in and out within a few minutes, in the same time it takes to walk from your car to the front entrance at Home Depot. Plus, the store is locally owned.
