I just recently tried to order some food from«Wings over Greenville» & unfortunately They do not deliver to my area. But they deliver to the are around the ECU campus. I live only a few blocks, a 10 — 15 minute walk from the ECU campus. I wonder if it’s because I live in a black neighborhood which is pretty much right down the road from The campus of ECU. It doesn’t make any since at all. As the lady that I have just recently talk to over the phone said to me «We don’t deliver to that chunk of area.» Well what area do you deliver too?

I have had such a great experience since corresponding with the owner and I realize that this isn’t something that the owner condones! I appreciate them reaching out to me and I will be a customer for a long time!

I’ve only had wings over a handful of times. Can’t go wrong with regular buffalo style. I didn’t like the jerk chicken(not sure if that’s the correct name of the flavor), but it was gross. Don’t get it. But literally everything else is bomb.

I am addicted to their honey BBQ boneless wings! Oh and their Cajun waffle fries too. We order delivery from them at least every other week. They’re delivery times are incredibly fast and since their prices aren’t too bad I don’t mind tipping the drivers. ;)

I consider myself a wing lover, I sleep, eat and breathe hot wings… apparently so does this place. The wings are meh. Meh meaning okay. I don’t think they are great. The Cajun waffle fries are amazing though! You should definitely grab some with your order. Take out or delivery only. Always very prompt on delivery! Definitely worth a try!

I love their wings by far the best. They have a wide selection of flavor choices and are very reasonably priced. One big perk is the delivery minimum I believe it is only $ 5 or close to that which is a lot less then other places in town. My favorite is Cajun teriyaki which has a kick with a sweet side. Also I prefer boneless wings and here they really hook you up. They are literally chicken tenders not the small little almost bites you get at other restaurants. I highly recommend them! Only suggestion? Open for lunch!

Somewhere, in a review or on their menu, someone should mention that WoG is a delivery or take away only place. It is not a restaurant with tables and chairs. It’s like a Dominos Pizza place only with Wings and Ribs. I made plans to meet some friends there for dinner because it was close to ECU. We didn’t eat there, the rating is only to show my dissatisfaction that their menu didn’t make it clear that WoG wasn’t a restaurant.

I literally eat here everytime im in greenville however there is now a wings over Chapel Hill, which I have seriousely considered driving to some nights. Especially since Its some of the best drunk food ive found. I have the boneless wings with the citrus chipotle sauce as well as the garlic parm flavor! OHMAN wanna talk about some juicy finger lickin food… I literally crave wings sometimes, and instead of indulging I will literally wait until I can drive here and have them brought back by a friend(I know I said theres a wings over chapel hill but for some reason I dont wanna trust it and have wings ruined for me.) They also have a extensive array of other items, Burgers, Ribs, Chicken, and amazing combos that can feed between one and 100 people at a really reasonable price I get the DC10 combo which is $ 14 an a little over a pound of wings, fries and a drink. With this I can have 2 meals if im really hungry at first, or three meals if im just mildly hungry. Around 4.66 to $ 7 a meal, not bad especially if one is trying to be economical, always a plus when traveling out of town! They arent the friendliest staff because its not a wait staff they just bring your you food and drink to the counter, so standing or sitting in the lobby area can feel really akward if you dont have alot to say; so I dont blame them I just wish it was a more inviting atmosphere but considering most people ordering in there have the munchies maybe its just been that feels this way. xoxo

I’m not sure they actually taste like CHICKEN per say, lol, but they are pretty yummy. When I order out and I don’t want pizza, I go for WoG. That’s partly because Greenville has no Italian, Indian, Mexican, or any other delivery but pizza, and partly because I do like the wings. I usually get Garlic Parmesan(xxtra)…I order online, delivery is usually about 10 minutes. My food is hot and fresh, and they usually don’t forget anything I add… that’s a big deal with delivery places. The waffle fries are delicious.

While planning my wedding I would get exceptionally stressed out andmy maid of honor would disappear into the night, only to return with a can of coke and a half pound of mild wings. Oh the delicious non-stress of those wings. They are what I most crave in Greenville, aside from maybe Habachi Express… can you tell I spent some college years there… yeah. There is a long list of sauces with varying heats. I also know you can order a ridiculous amount of wings which I believe they call an aircraft carrier. If you decide to do this please post pictures… I am curious as to what an aircraft carrier of wings looks like and possibly afraid. People in a rush may want to choose another venue it can take 15 – 25 minutes for your food to prep.

I used to swear by Wings Over Greenville. When I first started eating there, the Afterburner wings, the hottest, were powerful enough to make my face numb, but still retain a taste. The Red Alert wings were just plain good. They’d give you plenty of blue cheese or ranch dressing as well as celery sticks to mute the pain. We liked WoG so much that we ordered their big«Aircraft Carrier» package(100’s of wings, ribs, soda, etc.) for the Superbowl in 2007. Flash forward to January of 2008. My brother decides that the UNC game won’t be complete without wings, so we place our standard Red Alert order. When we get the wings they look thicker than normal and seem greasy. I normally average fifteen wings in a sitting, but I could only get through a handful. They tasted horrible due to extra breading that ended up soggy. My brother is a wing connoisseur, but even he was disappointed. We’d ordered extra to eat leftover, but these wings went straight in the trash. I may give WoG another chance, but BW3 is right across the street. At least they offer consistent service.
