I ordered dinner there on 11−23−13, I have not had any luck finding any good authentic South American –until now. I ordered the Special Vale, 2 chicken empanadas, 2 beef empanadas, and 1 yellow arepa with cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious. The Steak in the Vale special was seasoned beautifully, the fried yuca was crispy yet cooked perfectly. I preferred the chicken empanadas over the beef ones and the arepa was incredible. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, the waitress was very pleasant and there was a mixed crowd of customers. They had a playful theme, overall very casual, but extremely cozy.

NOTE: Closed on Sunday and Monday. The daily special is the way to go. It is a well-​balanced meal for $ 7 including tax and drink. Located on Pleasantburg Drive across from the BJU entrance, near the Little Caesar’s. It is basic fare, but a good value for folks on a budget.
