Living in the Midwest for so long taught me that speedway was the gas station/​convenience store of choice.
After less than a month of being back in SC I’m all like, «Speedway who?!»
Quick Trip or QT offers gas and all of my local stations are clean and well kept. Noticeably better than their competitors.
The convenience store is a welcomed surprise for me. I try to make it a habit of avoiding gas station restrooms when possible. However, I feel that to appropriately assess a service center or restaurant you must at least take a peak. So I did and the restrooms are also clean and well kept up.
QT convenience stores are very clean and offer an assortment of their own brand snacks and candies along with your run of the mil name brand selections too. They also offer a quick service coffee and snack restaurant in the store. Most of the food is unhealthy but you know the kind of stuff that you crave from time to time. I did not actually get any food from there but again it looked clean.
The staff at this location is very friendly and I would definitely recommend this location for fuel and snacks.
