Expensive for tough and greasy omelet. Don’t usually review places, but did not like my food and I’m still hungry. I don’t understand why restaurants don’t learn how to make a decent omelet especially when it’s highlighted on your menu.

Love eating brunch here on my way back home, friendly atmosphere, great food. Get here before the church crowd or you will be waiting.

Absolutely delicious. The service was top notch, both quick and friendly. But the food? Yum yum! I ordered the lemon crepes with a side of hash browns. The hash browns were crispy all over and didn’t need salt. The crepes were clearly the star though served with a side of lemon curd that was to die for. My partner ordered the crab benedict breakfast with asparagus. The egg was poached perfectly. The crab meat was plentiful and fresh. The asparagus was crispy and fresh. And the grits stood up to the same standards as everything else. Definitely will return and highly recommend.

I really loved the selection of breakfast foods on the menu. I ordered the sweet potato pancakes and they were absolutely delicious and fluffy. My boyfriend got the burger and fries and thought it was so-so. I liked the location and parking availability. I recommend it!

Somehow this review got deleted so I’ll repost it: Deplorable customer service — First we get skipped to get seated AS we are standing there. Then we get told we can’t get seated because the rest of our party wasn’t there but the lady that got seated when we should have been didn’t have the rest of her party either. Once I asked why all of this happened, and get a very poor attempt at an answer, I express how unnecessary this was. I then get told that«this might not be the restaurant for you, buddy.» If in «for me» you mean a person expecting NOT to get treated like my hungry wife and kid don’t matter because of you’re ignorant owner/door man or whatever else he is then you are absolutely right. This was a result of either ignorance or incompetence; Either way there was no good reason. Customer service is dying and this restaurant is a prime example.

Had dinner. The owner Was very nice and the food every good. I had the ribeye and my husband had the fish dish. Was very surprised how good the food was. I would recommend this s a go to place for dinner. We ate early but a number of people came after 7. This is a place to try. The menu is limited but worthwhile Thank you for an enjoyable time

Excellent soup and sandwich for a rainy day ! I had the creamy tomato and my business partner had the gumbo and a huge sandwich. Much more food than we could eat. We were impressed and the wait staff was excellent. My partner said the pancakes which he has had before are amazing. Great place for families or business meetings or to treat yourself !

Very slow service, extreme wait times for your food and a bit over priced for what you get. Honestly, you are better off going to Waffle House for a standard American breakfast.

Great breakfast had by the entire family! Our waitress Lori embodied all of the charm and friendliness that the south is famous for! The coffee was amazing — the omelette are fantastic and nice and steaming hot… The best though are their pancakes! What a great way to start the day and close enough to walk from the Westin Pointsett. Thanks for a great start to a beautiful day in your great town!

Service was great. Food was bland. Chicken salad sandwich was really bland. The chicken salad lacked flavor. I don’t like super spicy things but I’ve had better chicken salad from a grocery store. Seriously. Expensive for the quality you receive.

The food is extremely overpriced, but tasty nonetheless. The host(owner?) is clearly in the wrong business. His pompous attitude is off-putting to say the least. Positive take away is that I’ll never have to see him again.

First let me say the management here is horrendous. I came here with my boyfriend and his family he got the eggs Benedict and found a hair in his food. He went to show the owner and he completely shrugged it off and did not care and acted like it was nothing. He wanted to get a crab cake instead of the eggs Benedict again and the owner told him he couldn’t do that because it was too big of a price difference. Instead the owner offered to replace half of his eggs Benedict because he had already eaten half of it. We will never come back here again. The rest of the food was alright but nothing to write home about. Just know that if you come here and have a problem with their food they will do nothing about it.

Really solid breakfast spot on McBee. The biscuits are delicious and the setting is really nice and bright. A lot of business executives go here for breakfast and lunch time and time again. Any place that has a regulars is a spot worth noting. The menu is simple and not over the top with deconstructed omelettes(scrambled eggs). I’ve only had the mega breakfast so far but I hear the eggs benedict and pancake selection is pretty on point. Now I’m getting hungry. Thanks Unilocal

Had the Mary Beth eggs Benedict; awesome! Very busy on the Sunday morning we went, but did not have wait long. Great service, great food, in downtown Greenville, and price isn’t too bad. Was 30 bucks for our plates but average should be right at $ 20 for two. Gets a little cramped but worth it!

I don’t love the atmosphere, or the straws without wrappings. We sat next to the window which was nice, but the décor is very bland. There were also more than one day’s crumbs in the window sill beside me. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich on asiago ciabatta with a side caesar salad. The portions were nice, but the flavors weren’t especially exciting. FYI the chicken salad consists of white and dark meat, with the occasional surprise croûton. I got water, and my total was $ 12.42. Update: $ 7 for carrot cake sounds like a lot, until they bring you a quarter of an entire cake! It is SO good!

We’ve been a couple of times before, but this is my first review for breakfast. I doubt we’ll go back, so it will be my last. The blueberry pancakes were delicious. Everything else was just okay. The large order of bacon was $ 4 for four scrawny pieces, so this seemed overpriced. I honestly can’t see what the draw to this place is. It is very nondescript and unorganized, and I for one just didn’t feel welcome. Plus, it is expensive. My biggest problem was the service. Amanda, our waitress, was overwhelmed with the Sunday crowd and it showed. She didn’t bring my husband his coffee and just nodded her head and said«I know» when he reminded her, all the while very impatiently asking us what we wanted to eat. She was just too busy to stop and fill a cup for him, but continued to refill everyone else around us. It was bizarre. When she brought us our food but not utensils, butter or syrup, I was almost afraid to ask for fear of sending her over the edge. Overall, it was just an uncomfortable experience that we choose not to repeat. I hope downtown Greenville will get more options for breakfast soon.

I found Mary Beth’s on Unilocal and decided to try it out on Sunday morning for breakfast with my friend. We wanted to go somewhere that offered a good Bloody Mary. Let me say, the Bloody Mary was delicious. One of the best I’ve had in the state! I ordered the MB breakfast plate and substituted my short stack for the lemon ricotta pancakes. The pancakes were simply delicious! So tasty that I didn’t even use any syrup on them. My eggs and sausage were good, too. My only complaint is that the restaurant was very busy that morning, so we decided to sit outside so that we wouldn’t have to wait for a table inside. It still took over 1 hour for us to get our food and over 2 hours total to have breakfast. If they know they’re going to be busy on Sundays, they should hire more staff instead of making customers wait so long. Thankfully, we had a wonderful waitress and she took off our first two Bloody Marys from the bill and apologized for the wait on our food. I greatly appreciated her effort.
