I love ordering pizza from here rather than a chain because they have more toppings to choose from. The delivery option can take a while(usually 30 – 60 minutes) but the wait is worth it. I’ve also eaten at the restaurant; the food is always fresh, service is good, and the restaurant is very clean.

I was so disappointed with the order/delivery we received from them today. There was nothing about the order that was correct. The 2 hot subs we ordered had never been near an oven I would like to blame it on the hour and twenty minute wait when we were quoted 30 – 45 minutes but the cheese had never been melted. The pepperoni roll add spinach turned into just a cold spinach roll and the three slices of Sicilian pizza that was ordered had not seen the oven in hours. I have ordered from this restaurant in the recent past and the order was delivered early and hot but after this last experience I’m not sure I’ll order from there again. Maybe they should spend more time in this restaurant instead of their new venture and these type of things won’t continue to happen.

I don’t often write a one star review, but my experience was less than stellar. Upon entering the restaurant, the cashier seemed completely annoyed and disinterested in helping us. I asked her a question about the menu, and she didn’t respond. I repeated the question, and she slowly answered with an «Uhh, I don’t know.» Very odd, like she was in a daze. Not getting anywhere, I just went ahead and ordered. I understand that this is a young girl who probably doesn’t even want to be there, but seriously your employees should have some kind of work ethic. The food was almost as bad. The pepperoni roll was burnt on the outside, and the toppings were scarce. I had to shake some red pepper onto my food to give it some flavor, but even then I just ended up eating half and throwing the rest away.

I have a love/hate relationship with Marabella’s. Although most of their food is delicious, the delivery option is terrible. Expect 90 minutes minimum for delivery and you can pretty much guarantee your food will be cold. If you can pick the food up yourself or dine-in, you’re going to love the pizza. Don’t bother with any of the appetizers and the garlic knots are gross; however, the pizza is spot-on authentic!

Contrary to some of the most recent reviews, I enjoyed the pizza here. I ordered pick up, so I can’t review the delivery portion. Maybe I caught this place on a good day, but it was good. I did think that the pizza was slightly pricey but would try them again, but unfortunately I’m scared of what I may get.

We were looking forward to trying Marabella’s thinking it would be authentic To NY City pizza. This was our first and last visit. The Sicilian Deep Dish was not only expensive, but the lack of cheese and pepperoni for the price was a joke. We paid for dough and sauce. Could they be any cheaper? Scrimping on the cheese and charging greater than $ 18 for what!!! The cheese did not even cover the dough-there were slices that had no cheese on them. The pepperoni was scarce. I would NOT recommend this place nor will I return. I wish we had read the reviews before spending the money. What is written is very true.

Had another pizza from this location. The ingredients were not fresh. I was actually worried about some cheese that was on the pizza that had a pink tinge… The people are always nice, but I think attention to detail is an issue here.

I love Marabella’s but their delivery service is absolutely the slowest I’ve ever experienced. I ordered pizza at 6:30 and its 8:00 and it is still yet to arrive. I’ve called the store twice and gotten different stories. I’m never ordering from here again.

We have been fans of their pizza in the past, but after tonight we won’t be going back. After being told our pizza would take 20 – 35 minutes, we sat for nearly an hour. We then asked what the status was. Their response was ‘yea, we’re running behind’. No apology. They didn’t know what our order was, and when we told them, they pulled a pizza with someone else’s name off the top of the oven. I have no idea how long it was there. We took it home to find that it was undercooked and dough-y. I called, and their customer service failed yet again. They did agree to refund us after I requested it, but then hung up the phone without saying goodbye. Very rude Horrible pizza, horrible customer service. So disappointed. If anything, we’d only visit another location. Won’t go back to this one.

I agree that the pizza is great, I am a big proponent of local business but the last time I ordered delivery it took over an hour and was cold when it arrived. I called twice to check, both times I was told my order was close. This time I tried again, asked what the wait was and was informed it would be at least an hour… the person I spoke with was somewhat rude. We shall see if the order is cold… unfortunately I may not order again for a while

The food is mediocre at best– but I ordered most $ 40 worth last time and EVERYTHING was cold and underdone(we live literally 3 minutes down the road) I proceeded to call, not to get my money back, but to just state a fact… the manager sat there and ARGUED with me. Absolutely rude and ruthless the way they handle customers. Never ordering from there again. Also, the order was incorrect…, and I paid $ 7 for iceberg lettuce instead of romaine.

Ordered the La Romana pizza with anchovies, olives and capers, it was good, thin crust with great cheese! Will come back and try other pizzas.

My family and I were faithful customers for years but this place hasn’t been the same since reopening. Unpleasant customer service, poor quality food… it never used to be this way :/

Pizza was about 7⁄10. Not the best, but not bad. Service was awfully slow and didn’t make sense. Brought food to 2 guests while not serving the other 3 for 15 minutes. Maybe next time we would try delivery!

The worst part of Marabella’s is that I live right around the corner and could easily find myself eating their pizza 6 nights out of 7 — thus destroying anything close to a diet. It’s seriously rare to find a pizza so good that you cannot believe how much of it you just ate and still wish there was more of it. It’s not stereotypical New York Style, it’s not thick or thin, it’s just a dang fine pizza that you will want to be buried with. As if that’s not enough, literally everyone — and I mean everyone — who works there are the nicest, most pleasant people and it’s not even close to being fake. It sounds weird but it’s kind of like calling up your buddy and asking for pizza, and he brings it to you. If you think I’m making this up, or they paid me for the review… you need only to see the number of Marabella’s boxes that end up in our apartment in a month. You may think that’s scary, but once you have this pizza, you’ll change your tune in a hurry.

Since there ain’t nothin free no more in this world, I was quite delighted.

In Greenville, there is a vast wasteland of cheap, horrible pizza joints. Marabella’s rises above all of them and serves amazingly delicious, fresh, and quality food. Not only that, but this Italian family owned restaurant truly cares about taking care of its customers. After calling in a pick-up order to their Evans location in Greenville, my wife drove to their Greenville Boulevard restaurant.(our mistake) The nice man behind the counter quickly made the exact same order, and had my wife quickly on her way. We will definitely be coming back to this delicious, local, family owned restaurant again.

In the ever ending quest to find decent pizza(gave up on good after trying Papa Johns), we ended up at Marabella. Granted, its hard to get good help in a down economy. After the high school counter help got off his cell phone I ordered a slice of Silician pizza. Burnt crust. Asked for another. Drat. burned again. Oh wait — the guy at the counter brought me back the original slice *thats* why it was still burned. Its tough to juggle one customer. See the uploaded photos for Marabella? The one of the picture of the BURNED bottom crust of a slice? That’s mine. Still burned. I was told their oven does that to all the pizza. I suppose if you like charred pizza crust that tastes similar to volcanic ash you may enjoy this pizza. The one star was for the comic element it would of made a great SNL skit. And the help was pleasant.
