I went because I was craving French onion soup and this was one of the few places that popped up online that served it. The soup was amazing! I also had ribeye steak and it was a 4⁄5. I would go back here.

Excellent local steak house. Good menu, good service, good food, good atmosphere. Very reasonable prices and I would definitely come back again.

Great salads and bread. As a whole I don’t feel that the food at this location is as good as the other locations of Longhorn I’ve visited. Greeter must have had a bad day because she’s not so friendly!

Another Greenville restaurant that I’ll never go to again. The food is poor quality especially the lettuce in the salads. It was our second trip & our last. The staff tries hard to please but it’s not enough to over come the prices for sub par food. The manager gave us our lunch because the waitress broke a plate on us. The broken plate wasn’t a problem but the food was!

I’m surprised myself that I would give a chain restaurant 5 stars but I did. The food here is always good but what makes it GREAT is the service. We always ask for the college student named Nick. He is fantastic. He has wonderful manners to begin with. Always«yes sir» and«yes ma’am». What a great kid. He works his tail off and on the rare occasion something is wrong he fixes it immediately. I wish every server I had was as good as Nick. Do yourself a favor and ask for him. You will be glad you did. We visit Longhorn several times per month and it’s mostly because of the service.

Great employees and great customer service! My husband and I went for our first time a couple weeks ago because we had a gift card. When the waitress brought our appetizer plates we unstacked them and found some food left on one of them. We discreetly let our waitress know and she removed the plates and brought new ones. Within a minute the manager was at our table apologizing and telling us our appetizer was on the house. They did more than was necessary to right the situation, and they took care of it expeditiously. That kind of service goes a long way. Because of the excellent service(and the pretzel stick/beer cheese dip appetizer!) we will be sure to go back.

Absolutely horrible. Went there for the first time and it took 15 minutes to even get waited on. Then the food came and it was horrible. You have to order your steak rare and maybe they will do medium rare. The waitress never came back to check on us. I had to go to the kitchen and get my own steak sauce bc the steak was horrible. I should have just taken it back to the kitchen instead of getting sauce. Horrible service and horrible food.

I took my parents for dinner. Arrived there wo reservation on Friday night and had to wait for 30 minutes, which was not bad. Five stars for service. Staff members were very friendly and accomodating. My parents ordered outlaw ribeye and t bone steak. I had a bite of their dishes. To me, Ribeye contained too much fat and a bit salty. But my parents both enjoyed their dishes. I had Redrock grilled shrimp and it was very tasty and its seasoning was up to par. Highly recommend it.

The food was great! Except that the appetizer was cold :( But our waitress was in a foul mood for the entire meal and only stopped by the table once– she wasn’t even the one who brought out our food. She was in a rush when she did stop by the table and did nothing to try to remedy the fact that our food was cold. If we come back we will definitely request to sit in a section away from her! The management at Longhorn did an awesome job remedying this encounter and we have eaten here several times since then each time requesting either Alex or Derrick! Both are wonderful waiters! But today neither was working and we have run in to the same problem with a different female waitress. We will be more vigilant about requesting a waiter from now on!

Apps great and my wife and I tried a combination of appetizers versus having a meal. The portions were good and it gave us a little of something we wanted. We sat at the bar and the staff was very engaging when we needed them. Decent selection of beers but very limited to the styles I normally like.

Best Longhorns I have ever been to. My steak was cooked exactly how I wanted and service was very attentive. Will definitely come back!

Ate dinner here while I was in town for work and the service here was great as well as the food. The staff was happy and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Food came out hot, and didn’t have to wait overly long. They even held the door for us to leave! Will be coming back!

I finally got the chance to check this place out yesterday, and it was awesome! It was my first visit ever to a LongHorn franchise. Unfortunately, I forgot my iPhone, so I didn’t get a chance to snap any photos. I got there right at 11 am to avoid the after-church Sunday crowd, and went with a couple of different appetizers — the Texas Tonion(pretty much Longhorn’s version of the Outback’s Bloomin’ Onion, only drizzled with sour cream) and the Western Cheese Fries(beef chili, cheddar, monterey jack, bacon, and jalapeños.) Crispy wheat bread, soft butter, and unlimited drink refills were also included. For the main course, I went with the 16 oz. medium rare prime rib, which was great — it had a unique, smoky flavor, and was definitely a bit different from what I’ve been used to at all the casino buffets out west over the years. I went with a loaded baked potato and a dinner salad for the sides. The employees were very friendly, and service was very quick. I found the option to get a full beverage in a to-go cup as an offering at no additional charge to be a really nice feature. The only downsides I encountered were that the onion dipping sauce was a bit too on the tomato-ey side for my liking. Some other people in my party mentioned that the flat iron steak was a bit on the tough side, but that’s a common characteristic of flat iron steak in general. Also, no beer or liquor served before 12 noon on Sunday, but I can’t fault the LongHorn for this; it’s a local ordinance I’m STILL trying to get used to around here! Definitely recommend.

Four diners. Four different steaks for dinner. One unanimous decision: Don’t come back. All of us noticed an unacceptable chemically tenderized quality about our meat. My 9oz Flo’s Filet was so over tenderized that I really wasn’t sure it was actually beef. We’re not sure if it was the kitchen staff or our waiter, but one of the entrees didn’t arrive until the other diners had fully finished their meals. With no apology from the waiter.(It was, however, removed from our bill.) There have to be better places in Greenville to get a steak.

I got suckered into going here because we’re honestly running out of options of places to eat in Greenville and because group consensus brought us here. There was a ridiculous line for a Friday night, so be prepared to wait 45 minutes. I’m not a huge steak person, but I can appreciate a good cut of meat in small portions. I opted for their grilled baby portabella mushrooms special 6 oz. The price was very reasonable and came with a side and salad. The bread rolls were tasty with a hint of sweet, but careful because it can get filling. The salad was a little sadder then the typical iceburg lettuce with dressings on the side. The steak itself should be ordered rare because the medium rare is a little too dry. Someone suggested the seasonal vegetables as a side, but they were terrible– tasteless partially steamed broccoli and cauliflower. The server was easily confused but was friendly. At least I can appreciate that they serve reasonable sized steaks and the flavor was reasonable as well.

I had the ribeye & the seasoning & flavor was PUURFECT! The garden salad was great & fresh, perfect baked potato. We usually go on a Sunday after church around 11’ish which means we beat the noon rush. Not giving 5 stars only because we had to ask for refills twice on our tea & water. Otherwise food is 5 stars!

I had the Rocky Top Chicken and Mrs. Shirt had the 8 ounce Renegade Steak. Both came off the large lunch menu and included choice of potato and a side item. Quality of Food: Salad was as fresh as they get with the added distinction of homemade salad dressing. Steak was perfect and the chicken breast was large and smothered with cheese and bacon. Heaping fries, veggie medley and good sized baked potato were all prepared to gourmet standards. Quality Of Service: Very attentive and lighthearted waiter who managed top shelf service despite being responsile for a number of tables. Cleaniness: Western decour with cow horns, boots and cowboy hats is hokey but ther is no problem with how clean the eatery or bathroom were. Portion Size: Very large entrees for lunch servings. No way you could finish them without effort. No room for any desert. Value For The Money: For $ 9.99 apiece these were excellent values. Quality food at reasonable prices will bring me back again… and again.
