This is not your strip mall Chinese! Simply the best Chinese in Greenville It’s always dependable and flavorful Tonight we got take out –shrimp fried rice Fully packed and good simply on its own Along with spicy coconut shrimp – the two go great together as the spices of the one can mix with(or without the fried rice) Honestly. I have never had a bad meal here

Very good for dinner tonight. Portions are huge, everything is fresh. Pricey but depending on how much you eat, one entrée could feed two. Great service, very friendly.

My sister and I met for lunch last week and had an awesome experience! Previous experiences for me have not been as good from certain servers there but I love the food to much for it to be an issue. My sister frequents there for lunch as she works for TD bank down the street. I work in the industry and of course always pay attention to detail. Our server Eli was awesome! He recognized my sister and made great conversation… He even saw me drop my napkin on the floor and immediately brought me a new one! We were never in need of anything he was so attentive… and the food was great as always! Thank you Eli!

Started with a Jack –n– coke(way too strong for my current taste. If I was still 22 then Woooooo! bring me another, as it is now, too strong.) We started with spring rolls and pork dumplings which were both good. Then the main courses… the kids split chicken and shrimp lo mein, my wife got Cantonese crispy duck, and I had spicy beef and scallops. I really liked my meal: the beef was plentiful, the water chestnuts were crisp, and the scallops, while not plentiful, were cooked well. I question the inclusion of the word«spicy» though. The lo mein was good… solid and tasty but really light on the shrimp. Then came the duck. While Cantonese crispy duck should probably have a bit of a snap when biting, a bit of crunch, a bit crispy(as per its name) this was none of the above. What my wife had on her plate was a very small, very dried out duck that felt more like jerky from Cabela’s than from a beloved Greenville eatery. Completely dried out and cooked beyond flavour recognition. Service seemed spotty as we waited for drinks several times and watched plates pile up on our table. Short-staffed they were. I’m sad because my meal was pretty good, but other strikes piled up over the course of the meal.

Best Chinese food in town, its like P.F. Changs on localized steroids. Try the their spicy chicken and add broccoli! :)

This place was pretty good. I have had better Chinese and I have had a lot worse. I got the spicy shredded pork. They have there own spice scale and I got the +2. It was fairly spicy. It was pretty good. I had the steamed dumpling apps and that was good too.

My favorite restaurant in Greenville. I come here at least once a week. The service is great and the food is amazing. The owner Peter runs a tight operation

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants. The service is always top notch and food is amazing! Spring rolls, lettuce wraps, sesame chicken are just some of our favorites. You’ll definately love this place!

Meh. My kids had gone here a year ago and loved it. Tonight as a special treat we all went. Server was GREAT! Food was really pretty bad. I give it 2 stars because she was great. Otherwise, would not come back. Maybe an off night, as they loved it in the past but tonight we all leave dissapointed, a bit hungry and I know I won’t come back.

We decided to try takeout from Lieu’s in our quest to find passable Chinese food in Greenville. Orange peel shrimp, sesame chicken, and spring rolls were all disappointing. None were full of flavor or spice. Shrimp was rubbery. Rice tasted instant, and old at that. There was an enormous portion of sesame chicken packed into a container, but it was simultaneously dry on the inside and mushy on the outside. Likewise, spring rolls did not taste as if they were assembled or cooked fresh. Transport time for the takeout food to home was minimal and does not account for the deficiencies. We have only modest expectations for American-style Chinese food, but even so, this experience was very dissatisfying. The only thing that prevented a 1-star rating was the pleasant host staff.

Best Chinese food ever. Don’t know how they managed to make lo mein special, but they did. I came here, per usual, for those out-of-this-world crab meat wontons. They are HUGE. The deliciousness of the homemade sauces that accompany them are perfection. I prefer the spicy red(that sadly NOONE front house seems to know the components) and my bf loves the duck. It works for us. Our helper for the day was great. And I was thoroughly impressed that they offered lunch specials on the weekends! The atmosphere is relaxing… Those wontons are the stuff dreams are made of, man. I’ll drive from Charlotte for an order when the craving hits

American style Chinese food. It’s indeed top 10 Chinese restaurant in the area, given that there is no authentic Chinese food around in the whole state. If you are a Chinese who is fond of Szechuan style, if you are new to this city and looking to eat here, I think it would be better to go with Korean food or Thai food.

Ok, this is not Chinese food. It is American Chinese food, and it is basically my least favorite kind — fried and over spiced to the point of having no real taste. Why people like it is because of the convenience to GE and the«value» for your dollar. When we went for lunch, one could get a salad or soup, an entrée, and a fortune cookie for $ 8 to $ 13 each. I tried the Lieu’s spicy chicken with brown rice with one spice star. Mediocre at best — just fried dough and chicken, and the rice was undercooked. If you like PF Chang’s, you might like this place. However, if you are used to eating actual Chinese food, this place will probably disappoint you.

Not the best I’ve had, but perhaps the best in the area. Tried the spicy chicken and it was good, little disappointing to find the«spring» rolls were deep fried, I thought that was egg rolls

OMG!!! My husband and I decided to try this place after getting married at the Rock Quarry Garden. The food was absolutely delish and the wait was not long. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would have given them five stars, but the crying baby at the table next to us took away from the ambience.

First off let me start off by saying that when I first walked in the aroma that hit me was amazing. I knew the food was going to be really good. I wanted to place a to go order so I walked up to the young lady who seemed very busy taking orders over the phone so I waited but she did make eye contact with me and said she’d be right with me. She then greeted me and asked if I would like to see a menu. After looking it over I decided to go with a couple chicken dishes. The almond chicken and Kung Pow were very good! So we will definitely be back when we come through town again… P. S. We need one in Richmond asap! :)

I was torn between spicy pork and sesame chicken, so the server recommended getting the sesame chicken and asking for spicy. Terrific idea, although it still wasn’t spicy enough for me. But it had good flavor and the portion was very plentiful for one person. I came back a 2nd time and found a spicy chicken dish which I missed the first time. The chicken’s cooked the same way as the sesame chicken, but the sauce is different. I asked for extra, extra spicy.(They maintain their own rating system, so I think it was actually a +1 spicy) — The dish was hot but not unbearably so. I also ordered the wonton soup which was okay, but not wonton soup like I’m used to. On the west coast, wonton soup has some vegetables thrown in(carrots, bok choy, green onions); this did not. The flavor was good, but I only got one wonton, which is a little bit stingy, if you ask me.

After an analytical comparison on Unilocal I was able to coerce my friends to dine here instead of the dreaded PF Chang’s which I somewhat despise. A work friend has coaxed me to eat here for quite some time as he loves the place! I thought it was to be a cheap Chinese buffet where you walk out groaning and unbuckle you belt while heading to the car! Man… was I ever wrong! Growing up I can’t tell you how many Chinese restaurants I’ve visited that were a dump but the food was in the very good to excellent category! You see… some people of my culture were not trained in the aesthetic art of interior design but down home Chinese wok cooking… now this was an art form not to be confused with imposters! Décor and design here is very clean and comfortable! Click off box #1. We were seated at a smaller booth which was comfortable and convenient. They have even larger booths if you are 4 – 6 as well! Our table was near the kitchen and you could hear the sizzle of the wok cooking up a storm! Taking a look at the menu it is more American Chinese food with some authentic Cantonese style dishes sprinkled in. If my grandfather was alive he would have marched into to the kitchen like he did at any Chinese restaurant and asked the head chef where he was from(in Cantonese) and where he had his chef training. This is how he could tell the real places from the wanna be’s! For our party of three we ordered hot and sour soup each then salt and pepper squid, Kung pao chicken, spicy shrimp and a Singapore style mixed noodles to share with brown rice. Here’s my thoughts on each dish: Hot N sour soup– this is the start of a good Chinese meal to open up your taste buds. Theirs was a light medium heat with generous tofu smll pieces of chicken and a nice sour flavour 4.5÷5 Salt N pepper squid– larger portion– very crispy, salty but excellent flavour.(Probably my sodium intake for the week but damm good!) 5⁄5 Kung Pao chicken– a nice array of chicken, peanuts, chill and green onion. 4⁄5 Orange peel shrimp– my friend ordered this spicy, a nice array of shrimp in a zesty sauce. The candied fried orange peel, was a bit strong after one bite but good non the less 3⁄5 Singapore mixed noodles. Less curry tasting than other places, less vegetables but a good mix with beef, pork shrimp and snow peas. 3.75÷5 Only downside to what ordered was all was somewhat salty! This is fairly normal for any Chinese restaurant however! I didn’t taste any MSG, I didn’t ask if they used any so if they did it was very light! I’d recommend asking which we failed to do! All in all a great experience!

Ended up here after our previous visit to the local P.F. Chang’s here in Greenville. We were so amazed at the superior reviews here in the Unilocal community in comparison that we just had to try it before we left. Absolutely impressed, and this is one of the few instances I’ve said, thought, or written it. Keyword for my review is «portions.» They’re the very-definition of generous, specially for a bistro place. So that not only it was good because of the amount of food, but because of the amount of — good food — you can expect. Again, specially in comparison with a place like P. F. Chang’s. Started out with the traditional Won-ton soup, while it was good, this one I’ll still give to P. F. Chang’s, there’s just no comparing theirs. But then the plates, we went with the typical Kung-Pao Chicken, and what turned out to be an amazing Beef with Scallops. Portions, amazing. Taste, fresh. Very fresh. Good-quality meats were clearly used. A good experience, memorable. And a total #recommend.
