Really good authentic Korean food. Prices are good too. Tons of flavor and it smells really good. I also noticed a super clean kitchen in the back, which is nice to see. Takes credit cards too!

The food here was amazing! There was only one woman working, and two other tables while we were there. We ordered the Duck Mandukuk, Steamed Dumplings, Nak Ji Bokum, Duk Boki, and Kimbap to get a sampling of things and were beyond satisfied! I highly recommend restaurant for Korean food, it will not disappoint! Just be aware it is a small place.

So here’s the thing about Kimchee, The food is great, it almost makes me want to give 2 stars because the one time I ate here, it was delicious. However, I will not take my business here again. The first time I came here with my girlfriend and it was tolerable. Great food, but the woman who waited the tables was pretty blunt and not very nice to us. When my girlfriend tried to order one dish, she interrupted us with, «No, that’s for Korean people, you won’t like it!» I also heard her cursing like a sailor in the kitchen. She was pretty nice to the other patrons though, which leaves me wondering. Despite the bad service, we LOVED the food and decided to give it another try yesterday. We were the only ones there when we came in around 6:30. The same woman was working and said for us to sit anywhere. She got our drink orders and was very impatient when we didn’t know what we wanted to order yet when she brought us our drinks. She sighed and walked away. When she came back a few minutes later, we were still a little unsure what to order. When we asked to have just a few more minutes, she said«PSSHH» rolled her eyes, and walked away again. That’s when we left. I’m not going to eat at an establishment where I don’t feel welcomed. I’m wondering if it is because the business is not gay friendly, which is an assumption from the christian music they were playing there the first time we went, or if the woman is just incredibly rude, but she was never like that to the other customers who were there — only us.

I truly do enjoy this restaurant. It takes me back to my time spent in Korea while serving in the 2ndID. The food is great and the service is always friendly. I’ve eaten here several times and I have NEVER been disappointed. Don’t let the décor tun you off, look past the walls and focus on your food. You will be fulfilled and you will leave happy. Totally ranks a Friends & Family recommendation!!!

Amazing food and service! It’s actually authentic Korean cooking! Found my new place to go when I can’t have my mom’s home cooking!

Omg the best Korean food! The owner makes everything from scratch here. We ordered bi bim bap and Dumpling soup! Also some sides of the three kimchees. Cabbage, Daicon and cucumber. They were so good we ordered some Cuc Togo for the hotel room! BF was very good! Also my Dumpling soup was so tasty. I added a few squirts of sesame oil Nom Nom !!

First time at kimchee, I ordered the spicy chicken which came with raw cabbage, white rice and an assortment of pickled salads. The spicy chicken was delicious and as someone who loves spicy food, was quiet nice, actually could have been a bit spicier… but that’s just me! My lunch date had the shrimp pancake which is usually served as an appetizer according to our waitress but was definitely a meal within itself! Also had the Gyoza steamed dumplings which in my opinion were pretty bland and flavorless, next time I will try the fried Gyoza! Our waitress was super sweet and attentive and did her best to answer any questions we had! Will definitely be back!

Good ol’ Korean home cooking. Nothing beats this place in the area. I’ve tried all the other places and they all fell short of what I consider good Korean cooking! The only reason I left off one star is the selection, I wish there was more!

When I first walked in I saw only Korean customers. I knew I had found an authentic place being the only white person in the place. I ordered steam dumplings for an app then the Dubu Jeyuk Kimchi which is stir-fry pork & Kimchi with Tofu. It was fantastic, it was almost like pork belly. Very yummy. But first they brought out banchan and it was yummy. Service was great and food was awesome!

delicious food. amazing service. reminds me of my mother’s home cooked meal all the time. People seem to leave without tipping the server/waitress because they think it is a family owned business and it is «unnecessary» to tip their family member. — heard from an actual customer — TIPYOURSERVER/WAITRESS PEOPLE!!! they are not related to the owner. they are just extremely hard working people. i mean even if they are, you gotta show gratuity.

slow service and one person cooking in the kitchen will keep me from going back… waiting 30 min for food during lunch just doesn’t cut it for me Food is common Korean fare

I was trying to decide between 3 or 4 stars, and decided on 3 because the atmosphere really killed it for me. I have a feeling they are set up more for takeout, but their website showed beautiful plating, so I decided to dine in. The restaurant was very hot, and I could tell their Kimchee is made fresh in house, because the whole restaurant smelled odd. I discovered I don’t care for the cold Korean sides, except the spicy pickles! Those were amazing! I’ve had fresher Kimchee and liked it, but it was very potent. But I’m not blaming the restaurant for not liking what I believe is authentic food, My entrée was amazing! I had the spicy pork. It wasn’t very spicy at all, but it was delicious!

We LOVELOVELOVE this restaurant! When my husband feels home sick this is where we go. It is authentic and has a homemade feel and taste. They have a large variety of traditional Korean foods. I have even taken my own family when we wanted to introduce them to korean food.

I love food from other countries and this Korean food is great. I love the amounts of food you receive and don’t mind the what seems like high price for the good quality and quantity! I also like the fact that the server was very nice and helpful to me, which is a benefit because most Americans are clueless on Korean food and have to start somewhere. Now that I know a little more and really enjoyed the bibimbap I will be returning soon and quite often. The only reason I’m giving four stars is the extremely small space. You don’t have room to get in and out or have someone sit at the table behind you but it’s overlooked with the amazing food.

My husband and I stopped here while travelling through. It was good. We enjoy our local Korean restaurant better, but the food came out quick and the service was nice. Definitely worth the stop! I had the BiBimBap and my husband had the Spicy Pork. They definitely cooked his the way he asked for it… SPICY! So he liked that.

A must go if you like Korean. Not the best ever for me but certainly the best in Greenville. Service was ok as they were packed with one server. Soup was very good had the rib one just missed the cast iron pot. Flavor was spot on although missed the mustard seeds. All in all probably the best. If you feel adventurous try Sundae Gewk…

This is the best Korean Restaurant in Greenville, no joke. Perhaps the best in South Carolina. Whenever I start to crave some good old comfort food, this is where I go. The flavors are spot on. The deep fried dumplings(not the pan fried) are the best I ever had(sorry mom). I also get my supply of kimchi for home from here. Always fresh, just the way I like it!

Pretty good! It took a while to find it all the way down woodruff road but worth the trip. I was the only customer there but food was good and service was friendly. I don’t know much about Korean food, but I enjoyed what I had, spicy pork.

Pretty good! This place has a nice friendly atmosphere. The cooks and server are welcoming. Let’s not forget that the food here is also good. Me and my wife came on a Tuesday night. I tried the Bulgogi beef and my wife had the Bibimbop in a stone bowl. Both were good. Sides were excellent as well. The Kimchi tastes great! They even sell them in seperate containers(made fresh) so if you want some to go. Definitely recommend this place if you love Korean BBQ(like me) or you want to try something different.
