This was our first time trying Fusion Japanese Steakhouse. We ordered an item that was not on the menu, spicy soft-​shelled crab hand rolls and when they arrived they were beautiful and delicious too. Their sauces are tasty and delicate, not overpowering. The fish was fresh. We even had Uni and you know that has to be fresh! It had a fresh from the ocean flavor and beautifully prepared with just enough rice. The only drawback was that they cannot serve beer on Sundays, but the quality food and friendly service more than make up for it. Manager, Jackie, knows her stuff and sets the friendly tone. Thanks Fusion for a very enjoyable meal!

Very good Sushi restaurant in the Upstate. We had Sunday lunch and were pleasantly surprised with the high quality of the food. Ordered from the menu and also special requests. Their Super Dragon Roll was delicious — lots of fish & not too much rice. The chef made up spicy soft-​shelled crab hand rolls for us that were very nice. And the Uni was wonderful. We’ll come here again!
(Oh, they can’t serve alcohol on Sundays, but are working on getting that changed.)

We have been regulars for Sunday lunch since they opened. Always great food and service. However, this past Sunday, Valentine’s Day, we went and was seated but instead of a lunch menu, we were given the dinner menu instead. When we asked for a lunch menu, we were told «we don’t have lunch menus anymore». I said that’s funny because we were there just last Sunday and you had lunch menus. This is when the look on the servers face changed to the deer in the headlight look. As we were leaving we asked to speak to a manager who told us the did dinner menus all day holidays, to which I replied that is not so. I know for a fact we ate lunch there last Mother’s Day and Fathers Day and we were served from the lunch menu as usual. Plain and simple they saw a chance to gouge people. The only difference in the food was a scoop of sherbet and the price was almost double. Buyer beware!

I got one of those discount vouchers in the mail recently and had a hankering for sushi so decided to give this place a try. I’ve never been to a hibachi grill before so when I was asked where did I want to sit, I was a little confused. They seated us at a grill (of course) and I had no idea what I was about to expect.
Well it was nothing short of fabulous! I made the mistake of ordering sushi along with my hibachi meal. I had my usual favourite, the spider roll. It was probably the best sushi I’ve had in my life. I’ve eaten at the fabulous J2 in Dublin and maybe it’s just been a long time but my sushi was perfection and huge!
The chef at the girl put on a really excellent performance. I’ve not been to one before but I was super impressed! He was witty, engaging and very friendly. My rice and chicken were perfect. Service was excellent and with my voucher it was fantastic value. I would recommend fusion in a heartbeat to anyone.

I travel a LOT and try as many new places as possible. The food here is so tasty and fresh! Jackie at the bar is amazing! You owe it to yourself to try her Coffee Martini! OMG! So good and a pick me up! Delicious surprise!

While traveling I decided to try this sushi place based on these reviews. Hands-​down one of the best sushi places I’ve been to, and I have been to a lot of them! The people who work here are very friendly and it’s a wonderful atmosphere. Next time I come to Greenville I will definitely be coming back here! I had the summer roll which was delicious and the baked mussels, also very good! When I asked locals about the place before I went all of them highly recommended.

Went in about an hour before lunch specials ended. Prices were good, food was good/​fresh. We were only ones at our table and the waitress and chef treated us like something between family and royalty! Had a memorable visit.

Fantastic service! This may be the most kid friendly place we’ve eaten at in a long time. The manager let our young son feed the fish in the aquarium at the front of the restaurant. She also gave him a Japanese style orange soda on the house! Not to mention everyone from our hibachi chef to the waitress was happy and brought s pleasant, welcoming energy to our dining experience! Food was excellent, we are sure to be back again!

Most expensive hibachi Ive ever had and I’m from Atlanta (expensive). Quality not great, especially considering price. Server was nothing less than rude. Most hibachi chefs are entertaining but here no humor, no entertaining just cooked. Wont return or recommend to others.

This was the expensive hibachi and sushi I have ever paid for. The portions were so small for sushi and hibachi. The flavor was so bland. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It will be closed very soon!

Ok I was looking for new sushi
First off sun-​Thursday sushi is ½ off At happy hour and they are having specials every week
The location is near Hhgregg on woodruff rd.
Atmosphere is very clean and neat ! Light and airy!
I only had a beer and two sushi rolls
The have a full granite bar with two TV’
Bartender was the owner and he is very accommodating and open minded
The rolls I had were a Firedracker roll with spicy tuna on top of crunch roll. It was ok BUT the crunch was more soft and stale.
The spicy tuna roll was small and tasty with seaweed on the outside Again it was okay. Ihave had better
It was more of minced spicy tuna
Now I have had Better sushi but for two rolls and a Sapporo draft was $ 13 I think is pretty good deal
I will give it another try …

My family and I just ate here and we will have to waddle out because this is the best hibachi place we have ever had. The shrimp was bomb. My husband ate his entire hibachi meal in one sitting. That’s a big deal because he usually had a tiny appetite. He couldn’t stop eating. Also they serve Yuengling which is a plus. My sushi was really fresh and delicious had no problem devouring two rolls as fast as possible. Our chef was fantastic and kept laughing at his own jokes. Very entertaining we will be back for more.

Was a wonderful family experience! Mr. Jackie was an awsome cook who kept us well intertained.
The only thing is, I wish they had a wider variety of vegetables to choose from. Besides that, it was a great time spent with the family!

This is an excellent place to eat. It has only been open for two months. They have a sushi bar and an alcohol bar. The prices were a little more than we were expecting, but the food is a little more than we were expecting. My wife got the filet and shrimp. My daughter got the hibachi shrimp and my son got the hibachi chicken. The place was clean and the ambience was nice. Can’t go wrong here.

Impressed with the service and the sushi. My husband and I frequently eat sushi, and we are seasoned in distinguishing between good and bad sushi. I would highly recommend the raw spicy tuna roll and the raw California sunshine roll. A little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Will return.
