Very nice shop, 2 floors, well organized with reasonable prices. Nice lady working the front desk the day we went, very helpful when we had questions. Lots of «goodies» to look at. We recommend stopping in if you are in the area.

While I was living in Greenville, I visited this shop every week for about a year. Between this spot and East Coast Music & Video, my vinyl needs were looked after and most of my collection was put together from records bought at these two shops. There’s a nice section of bagged records by the door that generally float in the $ 10-$ 20, range. The condition of the records usually lives up to the price tag, but it doesn’t hurt to check. The real scores are to be found toward the back of the market, though. Thousands of records, none in bags, most selling for $ 3-$ 6. Really tidy and organized. It’s almost overwhelming but not enough that you don’t want to see if they have that one Talking Heads record you’re missing. I highly recommend this section for anyone starting out buying records or looking to fill holes in their collection. It’s mostly pop and rock releases from the 70’s through the 80’s but there’s also a few stacks of country and jazz. There’s also another section of bagged records back there as well, mostly new wave, punk, soul, and old rock ‘n’ roll. I always thought the soul and rock ‘n’ roll was a little overpriced, but I found some great deals in the new wave and punk sections. The folks behind the counter are great and I’ve struck up conversations with all of them at some point. They’re very polite and helpful and have cut me a break on several occasions, probably because I spent way too much money there! All in all, a great place to shop. I’ve heard the stock hasn’t quite lived up to the glory days I’m talking about in a while. Can’t speak for that, just what I know. Highly recommended for a lazy Saturday.

This is probably the echelon of antiquing in Greenville. It is the priciest of the three stores on Dickinson Ave., but it has the best selection. I have a very beautiful Victorian necklace from there and it still works today, which is rare when it comes to antiques. They have everything you could possibly want. Although, they are limited in the clothing and accessory department. They have nice purses that look very tribal and are worth the money. The staff isn’t the friendliest, but it’s all about the finds. The have a huge number of records, bins full of old photos and postcards, necklaces galore, antique furniture, and large selection of regal mirrors, leather jackets, military and boy scout patches, pins, antique books and toys, and so much more. It’s moderately priced so come prepared. It’s a two story building so you’ll find something for sure.
