Poor excuse for Turkish fare… please save your money and gullet… spinach pie phyllo dough and raw, Iskander is poor representation of such a great Turkish dish

This was the worst food I have had in a long time. I ordered the lamb & rice dinner plate. Very bland. No seasoning at all. I went for Turkish fusion– I guess I was there on the wrong night. The baba ghanouj was just mediocre. Plus they don’t serve wine & beer. My dinner companions ordered pasta that was over cooked & watery. Server wasn’t good either.

Stopped in Tuesday evening to see about there pizza. We order garlic knots which were just dough balls. No garlic whatsoever. We ordered a cheese pizza. it was doughy and had a very sour taste. Asked for Garlic powder, they had none. Over all I think this was the worst pizza I ever had in Greenville in 15 years. Wont be going back there.

Saw an ad in the mail about this place and the menu looked pretty good. They got everything from Pizza, Kabob, and even Shawarma(which I have yet to try). Me and my wife had wanted to try the Pizzas. So I had a Barbecue Chicken pizza while my wife had the Meat Lovers. Both were really good. Came in around after 2pm on a Friday. So there wasn’t really anyone there. The atmosphere was very relaxed and calm. Not really what you would expect from a Pizza restaurant. Maybe it was just the time of day we were there. It’s located in kind of a weird area that could be easy to overlook especially since it’s next to a charter school. But all and all definitely worth a visit:)

I went around 1:30 for a late lunch. Had lasagna which was served with no sides. I suppose at $ 5 that is reasonable but most other places nearby offer a salad and bread for around $ 9. The portion was large but the piece was hot on one side and lukewarm to cold inside. Pretty much unseasoned, the layers of noodle was indistinguishable… it was one mushy mess.

This place opened recently, I believe it replaced a pizza joint. The food was great, kabobs were delicious and the rice was awesome. The wife had falafel and it was good too. We picked up to go food, so can’t really comment on the atmosphere. Will try again!
