This place is terrible. Just went through the drive thru at 10:23 am on Sunday, 5÷22÷16 and was told they are out of Everything Bagels. How is a specialty bagel place«out of» a type of bagel? Not to mention, they never offer the broccoli cheddar soup anymore. I will never return to Brueggers Bagels. I have been disappointed by this place too many times to count!!! Also, please do not try to contact me, Brueggers Management, with a complimentary coupon to go back to deal with the same problems again.

Great food but the service is awful 80% of the time. I always go here in the am for breakfast and there are times I sit in the drive thru for over 20 minutes. The people that they are employing are either not ever trained well enough or their process is inefficient because it shouldn’t take that long to make a bagel. I actually opt most days to not go because the service is so hit or miss I can’t risk my son being late for school. As I mentioned above the food is usually good it’s just the service is lacking.

First of all. I have been going to BB since I was little. I grew up around them in Durham NC. So I know how everything is «supposed» to taste. This place is more hit or miss with their quality. Frankly this surprises me quite a bit. Also the young man w the ponytail must be related to the manager bc he is the surliest kid I have ever met. Never cracks a smile. Ever. Slaps your sandwich together as if it visibly PAINS him to make a freakin sandwich. Please. Please fire him. His attitude is consistently negative. As far as I am concerned I will never let him make a sandwich for me again. As long as he remains there I will make sure another person makes my sandwich. And this is not from a once or twice encounter with him. It is from the past 2 years.

I love their bagels when I actually get what I order however the service is absolutely horrible. I live walking distance so I am here often. I am actually here now The wait times are outrageous. I have to repeat my order usually 5 times to different employees. It’s horrible. Where is the management! Update just got my order and it’s very wrong. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a everything bagel. Received a sausage egg and cheese on a plain bagel.

The prices were reasonable and for being a bagel shop it was very good. I got the pistrami and egg sandwich with extra meat and it was very good and very filling. We are already planning our next trip. They also have a wide variety of bagels to choose from so we were pleased.

Our usual bagel shop was closed this morning(Thanksgiving), so we came here to grab a bag of bagels to-go to bring back for family. This was my first time eating Bruegger’s, and it will be the last! The way they cook their bagels is very inconsistent. Some of our bagels were doughy inside(borderline raw) and others were cooked so much that the bottoms were burnt; and subsequently tasted burnt. The cinnamon sugar bagels have just a minor dusting on them, barely enough to provide adequate flavor. Far less flavor than competing shops. Their brand of cream cheese is also quite bland, compared to lower cost, store brands. It was a very disappointing experience, not only because we expected more from a national chain, but also for how much they cost. I will concede that it being a holiday may have contributed to the quality issues, but that is still not an excuse for providing an inferior product at full price.

So I have to say I am very disappointed lately in Bruegger’s. I have been a customer for about 2 years now and have always just let minor things slide. Well I have to be at work at 6 am and my breakfast choices are usually fast food or here. Well I prefer bagels in the morning anyways, so this is usually my obvious choice. I usually get to the store about 5:45 — 5:50 usually a good 15 – 20 minutes after opening. I would have to say 7 out of my last 10 visits they have only had 1 – 2 kinds of bagels. This morning was no exception. The young lady who was working Jill was very nice and pleasant to deal with. The baker in the back(I heard her call him Walker) didn’t seem like he cared that much to be there. So this is my gripe. How do you open a bagel place with no bagels to sell? I mean you might as well keep your doors locked until you have product. This is just my opinion. But why should I pay $ 6 for two bagels with cream cheese and have to settle for something?

Brueggers has great coffee! Their coconut is so good that they try and stockpile it so it lasts into the late fall and winter since it is a summer flavor their bagels are chewy and delicious especially with their cream cheeses Their breakfast sandwiches are very good as are their lunch sandwiches on their bagels I love going there for coffee and a bagel!

After craving a bagel we tried Bruegger’s Bagel, so glad we did. I had an egg/cheese/ham on everything bagel, and it was really good, and LOVE their coffee — not strong/bitter like other coffeehouses. We’ve now been back many times, the bagels are tasty, along with the coffee, and great staff. Just wished they had the coffee urns out for self serve.

This is a great place to get a bakers dozen(13) bagels. There’s something about their bread recipe that makes them the perfect bagel. They have a ton of unique flavors. I love the jalapeño cheddar bagel that’s a special sometimes. Only ever eaten here for breakfast, but the look like they’ve got some good sandwich options too.

Amazing bagel place, and so close to where I live, too! The menu is simple but vast, the bagels taste phenomenal, the price is cheap, the portion is large, the staff and layout are wonderful; honestly, there’s nothing bad to say about this place. This is definitely going to be my new go-to bagel place, and it’s much better-tasting and cheaper than other bagel places in town. You can’t go wrong here with all they have to offer! They’ve also got some pretty good bakery items and coffee, too.

I love Brueggers and glad it is here in SC. Ok, so yes it is a chain but I couldn’t get a better bagel in NYC(and I’ve tried). Studied this place in an MBA class and they have a great business model. Consistently good bagels! Tip: The only way to get a bagel here(ok the best way) is to ask which bagels just came out and don’t get it toasted. Eat it quick because it will be soft on the inside! The staff here are really nice and will let you know what just came out.

Today I had the ½ sandwich, ½ salad meal. The Chicken Aioli Melt panini was absolutely delicious. Different taste of a hot chicken sandwich than I’ve ever had… and it was really good. Also, I was surprised at how large the ½ salad was. Really good value and taste today for about $ 7.

Atmosphere: Located in a strip-mall right off of busy Woodruff road. Open early with a drive-thru. Inside is kinda a low-budget Starbucks setting with booths and a couple of comfy chairs in the front for newspaper readers. Good place for an early morning study session.(has wifi) Service: Pretty fast and accurate. A notch above the usual fast food service. Food: Not bad. Where else can you get a bagel with lox in the south?(Don’t answer that… I’m sure it exists, I just can’t find it.) Sandwiches aren’t half bad either. Lots of different types of bagels. They don’t have any problem with big to-go orders, either.(Good for impressing your boss & coworkers) Coffee’s not bad. Bottom Line: It ain’t fancy, but it’s better than fast food grease. Also, you can get deals now and again.(Last night’s bagels 6pack for $ 2.99 last time I checked)
