Generally, belk has been good to me. Love getting make up here. However, I went in to purchase a quilt last minute, and they had closed early. Yes, I was there two minutes before closing. I called and was told their clock said seven. My phone has universal time as all apple products do, so I knew I made it on time. I know its irrational to be angry over two minutes, but having worked in retail, and yes I got annoyed at last minute customers, we let them in if we were within our posted opening time. Will not be giving greenville any of my money, sans make up, and will be either finding the item at a different location or ordering online. Greenville needs updating as well, and maybe needs to close on the posted time. So unhappy.

I love coming to belk, but i will be getting my clinique makeup elsewhere. Not into being forced to buy anything I’m Not comfortable with. Over the years it seems as if they can’t keep the same staff. Overall belk is a great place to shop.

They really need a dose of reinvestment to update the store. Depressing to visit. Unorganized set up. Archaic fitting rooms with musty smell. Lots of great deals but you have to go all over the store to find them. The Men’s and bed & bath departments are located separately in different parts of the mall. Fortunately, they have very nice staff.

What can I say about Belk’s…Well Jessica Simpson purses (REAL) for 20 – 30 dollars. Its like Chicago’s version of Carson Pirie Scott. I loved it I got two purses and saved 130.00 what a damn deal!!! Not a deal you would find in Chicago thats for sure. A girl’s dream come true. I didnt really care for the shoe selection or the mall it was in but I will be going back when I have to visit NC for business again.
