Great fresh food, served hot and made to order. A must stop for those that appreciate Latin food. Seating is limited and will be more so when they get a wine, beer like license.

SHINYLATINCOMET ASADA trumps all Mexican I know of in Greenville. Where did this place come from and how exactly is it so good? I’m pretty sure ASADA came to us by way of a crash landed, shiny comet. Their cuisine is otherworldly and your first experience will be befuddling and disruptive to your understanding of Greenville’s food scene, just like it was for me. Their mellow and carefree atmosphere is perfect for serving up Mission style Mexican with some serious Latin infusions. I have enjoyed everything I’ve ordered. The tacos are flavor packed and hefty. And, oh their burritos… I have never had so many harmonious flavors enclosed in a warm tortilla in my life. Try their specials as they are always zesty and fresh. Each ingredient is thought-over carefully, and it shows. Pop in and give this place a try. You’ll find generous portions and fair prices; no reservations, no fuss, just great grub!

We tried Asada for the first time last evening with some friends based on the reviews here at Unilocal.I can honestly say that it did not disappoint. Each of us tried a different item, a combination of tacos and burritos and they were all very delicious. Great flavor, temperature, and portions. Even if this place is out of the way for you, it will not disappoint. We will be back very soon.

As a California native, I’m always glad to try anything served up «California style.» Hoping for that little taste of home. This was a good, fresh burrito, taco option, but not what I remember from years of living in California’s mission district. It’s missing some magic creamy salsa. But that said, I’d happily return to enjoy the fish tacos(fried, btw) or a veggie burrito. Yummy.

SO very good! My current favorite is the pork taco. And when we went for lunch last weekend, they had a watermelon and cucumber punch that was so delicious!

Great food. Prices are inexpensive. Under $ 7 for two tacos and chips. The best tacos in Greenville and super affordable. I like the Japanese style fried chicken or the regular chicken taco. They don’t sell wine and beer yet(waiting on liquor license)

So happy to discover Asada was more than a food truck of awesomeness. I first experienced them thru their food truck and was super impressed. I got take out from the restaurant and was more than impressed. The pork burrito was huge! I ate half for dinner and the other half for lunch. Amazing! The empanada with mango and cream cheese was literally out of control. I am soooo happy I orders these little gems as I considered them the ‘closer’ of my meal. Not too sweet either. I mean wow! Loved this place and will definitely be back and spread the word with all my friends.

I absolutely love ASADA. I’ve been to this location three times so far and each experience has been phenomenal. I’ve tried the carne asada(steak), pollo(chicken), & carnitas(pork). The meats are all good, but my personal favorite is the carne asada. ASADA’s carne reminds me of fun times grilling out with friends in Los Angeles. It has that meaty melt-in-your-mouth flavor explosion that you yearn for with your food. Be assured that every bite of your food will be packed with flavor. This is one of those times in life that you’ll find an «Mmm» or six Freudian slip away. As far as the burritos go, these are some beastly gordos! Know that you are going to be fed and most likely will be full when you dine at ASADA. Portion size is awesome! Speaking of portions, they have created the largest quesadilla that I have ever seen. I made a comment to my girlfriend that it looked more like a gigantic taco than a quesadilla. This ‘dilla seemed like it was created in the traditional way, but seems like it was opened and stuffed with about three times as many toppings as you would expect. For Dessert, make sure that you check out the guava and cream cheese empanadas! They are just divine. There are other empanadas and specials too! The service is very friendly and polite. I’ve had the opportunity to talk to the head chefs and restaurant owners, Gina & Roberto. They are such a joy! The restaurant itself is decored with paintings created by Roberto! Overall, I would recommend ASADA to anyone looking for a guaranteed and positive dining experience. They’ve certainly become my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Upstate if not this side of the Mississippi.

Soooooo tastey. Worth the wait and the price. My boyfriend and I both got the carnitas burrito our first time and neither if us could finish. The portions are huge. I’m excited that they’ve got breakfast now. I’ll give that a try next time.

Look around for the hidden menus. I went for the first time on 4÷3÷16 and was immediately drawn to the menu that faces the front door. I had difficulty deciding between the carne Asada tacos and the fish tacos, but went carne. Then after I ordered I saw another sandwich menu to the right of the counter… darn it! Then as I was sitting down I noticed off to the left of the main menu another special menu… Japanese style tacos? I could have had that! Darn it! The carne Asada taco was delicious. There are some special salsas on the counter, and by special I mean HOT and HOTTER. Well, I have 2 more menus to explore and needless to say, I will need to return several times to really decide what I like best. 5 easy stars

This place ROCKS! We went here this week as we were craving some GOOD Mexican food and not the regular hum drum food served at your local chains but Foodie worthy tacos that are outstanding and delicious. We tried Asada when they were on the west end of Greenville but that was a long way so we seldom went there. Now they are fairly close to us on Wade Hampton and we can swing in there for lunch. Go early so you can get a good parking spot because the word is out — this place has affordable and delicious tacos. Try the HOTGREENSALSA in the bottles on the counter as it is very delicious on your tacos or with the chips. Owners are very nice and friendly and their passion shows in their food. Thank you Asada and we will see you soon!

What else can I say?! Delicious delicious food prepared fresh by amazing folks. Plus the owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. The seasonings and spices of everything you get here are a treat to the tastebuds(understatement!). My suggestion — try the carnita burrito and get the guava and cream cheese empanadas for dessert, just be prepared to take some of the burrito home because the portions are huge! Another awesome thing, their rotating specials! Always something delicious. Today I got the Cubano(Cuban sandwich). Whew, that thing blew my mind. And it’s truly hard to find a good Cuban in Greenville. Do yourself a favor and check them out, you won’t regret it! If you go during in lunch, just prepare for a little wait — why you ask, because everyone knows how deliciously awesome they really are and know that ther is no better thing to fill your belly with during lunch! Keep kicking butt Adada!

Upscale quality for Moes prices. Be sure to get some extra chips for your meal. They are amazing. Their pork is to die for.

If I still lived in Greenville, I’d eat here every day. Great tacos, reasonably priced, and easy to find. I think we ate here twice during our recent visit. Stop looking at reviews, and just drive here. You’ll be happy you did.

Everything we orders was freshly made. The Asian slaw on the Karagee Chicken Tacos is fantastic. The burritos are at least 3 pounds! It is off the beaten path from your traditional downtown Greenville restaurants, but is well worth it.

Tasty, bigger portions, nice ambience = nice experience. This is a Latin american eatery with a difference. Has soothing white walls with elegant paintings and sometimes a food truck in the parking lot. They don’t have tons of selections that make your head dizzy. Whatever they make, its definitely top notch. The guava cheese empanada that I had was the best that I have had so far. Their chicken karage taco was huge and needless to say it was amazing as well. I wasnt impressed by the cilantro lime rice. The staff are very nice. to sum it i was pretty surprised to find this gem in greenville. Go give it a try.

Love the new digs at ASADA! A huge fan of the food truck so glad to see the place packed out at lunch still four mo the after opening! Best southwest style tacos in Greenville, but don’t stop there! Empanadas are the BOMB and as a friend of mine said, go ahead and just tape that fried cheese to my butt. It’s amazing!
