GLUTEN-FREE — NOT!!! After carefully selecting gluten-free choices, I GOTSICK, really sick. This is the first time we have ever gone to PF Chang’s for a «regular» dinner(not a family celebration). Now we will find a different location for those family events. This broke us from any previous enthusiasm. Our waiter was inattentive and curt to us but not to the tables on either side of us. We normally tip 30% for poor service and 100% for excellent service(this is a tribute to our son) — this fellow got 25% and we overdid it. He was arrogant and unhelpful about menu options for my gluten-free requirement and vegetarian choice. I sent back snow peas asking that they be cooked«considerably» longer. After I had finished my meal, with the waiter passing by numerous times attending to others without bothering to even check on us, the snow peas were brought back by a different staff member and placed on the table without comment. They still were extremely crunchy and to me inedible. Last night I had soft, delectable snow peas in a dive in a little country Chinese buffet, so it is not an unreasonable expectation. The food was passable, but not good. The gluten-free dessert was very good, but I don’t know why we had to wait so long for it. The service just plain stank. And again, I’ve been sick all evening. Bad.

I ate here with my mother and two young boys. The options were excellent for the kids. It was so nice to see a kids menu without the usual chicken nuggets hamburger grilled cheese options. they actually had options that were smaller versions of the type of food they actually serve. We received our food and as usual it was generous portions. The flavors were great and the price was what you would expect. I just have to give a big shout out to our waitress. She was amazing. Her food and drink suggestions were perfect and she was very tolerant of my two boys who were way past their naptime. I would definitely go back.

Really? How long can this charade continue? Simply the most overrated Asian restaurant chain, emphasis on chain, in America! Disgusting.

This place gets no stars. Worst experience in my life. Gave them two months to get there stuff together tried it again last night an had the same horrible experience. Was sat waited 14 minutes without anyone greeting us. Asked the hostess for a manager who never showed up. The hostess ended up taking our order and serving us. There is no excuse for being sat and not greeted! Someone needs to look into the lack of management and poor service! I will never go back. Two times same horrible experience! I will make sure I write a review and call anyone who will listen there is no excuse for not serving people who come into your establishment!

What an absolute letdown. I’m not sure why anyone would consider going here after the experience I had. There was a long black gain in my spring roll. The manager apologized and mumbled something about they usually wear hairnets. Either you have a standard you follow or you don’t. I ordered some roll with scallop on top. It was warm to the touch as though it had been under a heat lamp and tasted like a hot dog. Terrible. Save your money and go elsewhere

We went here for lunch recently and enjoyed sitting on the patio. They have booths out there, which is awesome! Started with the veggie lettuce wraps and wonton soup, both were really good. I was also extremely impressed that they were able to switch out the pork wontons with delicious shrimp ones, since we don’t eat pork. You never know what you are going to get when you make special requests at a chain restaurant, but they were very accommodating. Didn’t even charge us more. Four our entrees, we got the Singapore Noodles and Mapo tofu and found both to be super tasty. The texture/cook on the tofu was spot on! Our server was very good and attentive as well. I could tell they made some changes since the last time we were here; everything seemed $ 2 – 3 more expensive then we have seen in the past. I don’t know why steamed broccoli and fried tofu costs $ 11.25, but we paid it and will probably to it again so I guess they got us. Suckers. Also, think the new menu looks a bit corporate and cheap. Still will continue to visit though, esp. now that we are getting a location in WS.

If your looking for some good Chinese styled cuisine, P.F. Chang’s is a great place to get it! I have always really enjoyed the food from this place! There are a multitude of good dishes to eat. Definitely start out the meal with the Chicken Lettuce Wraps, they are always delicious! I also recommend their dumplings(pork or chicken, but I get the pork), which you can get either pan-fried or steamed. For an entrée, I normally get the Honey Chicken or Shrimp. Basically these are chicken or shrimp that are battered, fried, and covered in a honey glaze. They are really delicious! The staff here are always very friendly and helpful. I have always had positive experiences. I also like the fact that you can come here for a nice date night or a casual lunch. If you’ve never tried Chang’s, you’re missing out!

Best food complemented with good selection of local and international beer. I’ve been to this place for dinner as a team outing. Got to try many dishes because we have done family style dinner. Kung Pao shrimp, garlic noodles, Ma Po Tofu, hand made shrimp dumplings, Saigon summer rolls, lettuce wraps with chicken, honey shrimp were the dishes we got to try. Every dish has its own flavour and taste. Best were lettuce wraps, honey shrimp, kung pao shrimp. In for dinner any day at this place.

I am truly in love with PF Chang’s! I was impressed the very first time with the enormous statues outside. I know this sounds silly, but it caught my attention and caused me to stop in to try them! The low lighting and ambiance is relaxing, even when they seem busy. I personally love the appetizer, Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps. The flavor is a combination of a little bit of spice, but not too much, and chicken in a savory sauce with crisp water chestnuts. Its chopped rather small in order to allow you to stuff leaves of lettuce and make a wrap. The server usually makes their own combo of sauces at the table, but I also love to play with them myself and add them onto to the wrap. I also will eat the chicken without the lettuce! The portion is large enough I usually order this as my meal, but a must have is also the dessert known as the Great Wall of Chocolate! They do not understate the unforgettable size of this by its name! Its six layers of chocolate cake frosted and topped with even more chocolate! I am not one to share desserts, but this I finally caved and offered a spoon to my husband. I am so excited they will be soon opening a location closer to me in Winston Salem!

My husband and I visited this location while driving through the area earlier this week. We were welcomed with a smiling host at the door. It was rather busy with a 10 min wait for a weeknight. We ordered speciality drinks that were an interesting flavor and refreshing for a summer day. The coconut milk drink I had was the perfect combination of smooth and sweet. The cucumber/strawberry/lime drink had a very strong zing which was new. As appetizers we enjoyed the crab wontons & bang bang shrimp. The shrimp was not as good as we remembered and the crab wontons as well as our entrees had a weird after taste. For our entrees, we shared the vegetarian eggplant plate and the sesame chicken. Nothing was spectacular and the flavors weren’t satisfying. My husband commented that he had a burnt plastic flavor after each bite. I’m leaving 4-stars because the two gentleman who helped us were nothing short of great. The food was mediocre & the bathroom was traumatizing. I did think it was cool to see an outdoor seating area. The PF Changs in my city doesn’t have outdoor seating & we would’ve preferred sitting outside since inside was extremely cold. But there was a 30 min wait for a table outside.

Lettuce wrap and dynamite shrimp as entre. Out with wifey and friends celebrating a b-day. Foods always great. I recommend making a reservation.

I hope I just had a bad experience. It must have been because I’ve heard so many people rave about this restaurant. Service was good even though our waiter was nowhere to be found when we needed him. But another waiter was happy to solve the problem instead. Firstly, we had a party of 8 and all of our foods were cold except one. We had already waited so long for our food we didn’t want to wait for a fresh one. Two of us had to return the plates though. They had both ordered the Singapore noodles and the food was cold and their noodles were hard. The waiter gave them no problem when switching out their dish. This time the food was fresh and hot. Secondly, we requested extra small plates for our rice. It took a while for them to bring it out, and when they did they were dirty! By the time our waiter came to check on us we decided to squeeze the rice on our entrée plates. On the other hand, my plate would have been good if it was hot. By the time I was halfway through my plate the food was hard to eat because it was so cold. I won’t be coming here again, even if I was promised fresh food. The dirty plates throughly grossed me out

I agree with some other reviews that the portions are small and a bit pricey but I absolutely LOVE their hot and sour soup. This is my favorite soup and Changs does it perfectly. The fried wonton strips are crunchy and delicious but now you have to ask for them. Our server said they stopped bringing them unless diners asked because people were wasting them. Um, excuse me? How could you not love those things? My favorites are the shaking beef, Kung Pao scallops, crispy green beans and the ahi tartare. They also have a loyalty card. You earn 10 points per $ 1.00 which adds up quickly and gets you a free entrée. My favorite server is Lamont. He is always smiling and joking and provides a great experience every time. Ask to sit in his section if he’s working.

I would hate on PF Chang’s if I could, but I can’t. The restaurant is so consistent at what it does, namely, decent Asian-inspired food, and lots of it, at a fair price, that I can’t fault it. For vegetarian options, the lettuce wraps are great, as are the Ma Po Tofu and the Stir-Fried Eggplant. Way busier and noisier than it deserves to be, though, so be sure to make a reservation well in advance.

We went to PF Chang’s tonight and expected the same quality service, food, and experience we have always had. This was not the case. Our experience started out with the clearly aggravated hosts being less than professional. She told me that there were no more buzzers to hand out for our wait, so I would have to check back in a couple minutes. I stood nearby and when someone handed in a buzzer I stepped a little closer as a subtle reminder that I needed a buzzer. She was about to hand it to someone else that had just walked in the door when I stepped up and inquired about my buzzer. She rolled her eyes and said, «Fine, sir. Here.» I mean… really?! We got our table and it was the one right behind the kiosk and next to the door with servers and bus folk coming in and out. We had to dine through the servers piling up around and chatting and listening to them say, «Corner» as they walked in to kitchen… each and every time. The quality of the food suffered as well. The lettuce wraps(which lets face it are usually amazing) were forgetting at best. The only thing reminding me of those wraps was the lasting taste of onion. There were SOMANY green onions in the lettuce wraps. Then add the fact that the chicken was dry it just made the dish very pitiful. The Mongolian Beef was a let down this time too. The beef was very chewy. Also, they keep adding more and more scallions to that dish so that they can add less and less beef. It’s really obnoxious how you have to hunt from for your beef through the mounds of greenery. The Crispy Honey Shrimp were still great and remain my favorite. I was just not pleased in the slightest in this last visit. I still love the food in a general sense and the environment is great. I’m struggling to give this experience even 3 stars.

Please be very weary about using your debit or credit card at any PF Chang’s there has been reports of cards being compromised all the way back from September of 2013. Please see the link here for further info and protect yourself If you have used your card here recently(sep 2013 to now) please contact your financial institution and alert them. Also I recommend blocking the card and getting a new one issued. Those cards stolen are usually sold on the black market in batches for anywhere from $ 20 to $ 100 a piece.

What can I say it’s a chain! However it’s consistent for us. It’s not authentic Chinese food by any means but it’s tasty. Some of the best dishes to get are: hot and sour soup, spicy green beans, lettuce wraps, steamed dumplings, Kung pao shrimp, Mongolian beef, and changs spicy chicken. I also like getting the garlic spinach as a side it’s very tasty especially when you order an entrée that doesn’t come with much vegetables. This location however has inconsistent service. Sometimes we have a really good server and some times it’s horrible but I never come for the service it’s always for the food. As long as the food is consistent I will keep coming back.

It’s not often I actually write a review while sitting in a restaurant, but we placed our order over an hour ago and it seems I have the time. Our server is nice enough and the restaurant isn’t overly busy, but not empty either. As far as I can tell our waitress has two other tables, one of which is paid out. I ordered the yellow curry with tofu & vegetables. I was not a fan of the curry sauce or the consistency of the tofu — it was hard, but the vegetables were good.

So, Chang’s has really been advertising the dickens out of their Oolong Marinated Sea Bass, tonight I gave in to my curosity, and besides I was hungary for some kind of fish. This is not a cheap dish, rings up at $ 24.95, and even with a side of rice(plain rice) this is pricey. Of course, one cannot live on fish alone, so a couple of other dishes were added to balance out the evening’s repast. Had to happen at sometime, I guess — single worst meal ever at Chang’s. The Sea Bass is ok, but not anywhere near $ 25OK — incredibly small piece of fish for that price — no reorder, ever! Sichuan Beef was like chewing beef jerky — over, and over again — and the portions have gotten smaller, and smaller, which might not be all that bad considering the quality. The Egg Rolls were loaded with undercooked veggies, and not much else — the shrimp were missing in action, totally. There was more, but why bother. A totally disappointing meal, especially at these prices. Doubt I’ll be back, sad to say.
