Mostly what one would expect from a big box store. I can’t knock it for much, though the restrooms are remarkably filthy and uncared for, the sort of place where most would try hard not to touch anything. Staff is generally polite and knowledgeable.

Lowes has handicap electric carts in most stores, but in most stores, they are in a sorry state of broken down, few available, or not charged. I shop THIS location because usually I can get a cart. The sales force are terrific, seem happy to be there and very eager to be helpful. Their assortment of things is better than many similar stores. With light bulbs, they still have the desirable halogen and three-way incandescent. Their Christmas stuff is good and affordable(electric and lights, etc.) The have good prices on birdseed and feeders. I had two premium toilets installed by them. Their sub-contractor does the job and it is the sub-contractors than stand behind their work. I our case, the sub-contractor did a less than competent job on the installation. One of the toilets had to be removed and re-installed properly by a bonded licensed plumber.

After dealing with Julie Lowe, at this location I relize what a scam they have going at this location. I was given an estimate by her(worse case situation) I gave her $ 4600.00 for a walk-in shower install. The construction company that was hired by Lowes, was suppose to start on a Monday, at 11:45 on the day they were suppose to start the construstion company and told me that work will not start until the following Wed. I then called Julie she had no knowledge of the delay. I gave her the option to either fire the construction comany or I will. The construstion company Lambreth Const. was there the next day. The shower was installed in two days after removal of the old tub. The plumbing and shower complete, the only thing that needed to be done was the dry wall around the shower. The next day the dry wall was installed. It looked like a 15 year old had done the dry wall work. it was very poor and shitty work. After waiting a week for Julie to get a hold of me which by the way again I had to call after Julie said she would be in contact with me a week before, this was not a good customer service practice. I was informed that the plumber had charged me $ 1500.00 for at best 5 hours of work. That comes out to $ 300.00 @ hour, that is well above union wages. Needless to say I have other jobs in the wings as far as home improvement,(windows, kitchen cabinets). LOWES at this location will NOT be getting my business. This was the biggest scam that I was a part of. I will be contacting Lowes Corporate to inform them of the way I had been treated and the shotty work that had been done, at most, of all the cost of the poor work that was suppose to had been done by a licensed, bonded, and insured contractor. very dissatisfied, and dissapointed. I had to rate them at 1 star because they didn’t have a negitive rating.

When busy, customer service goes to crap. In line for 10 minutes. then told this lane is closed. wow! thanks for letting me know. i moved to the next line that they opened up and the girl was so rude. i felt like i shouldn’t have been there… excuse me for buying hardware! what a joke of a store.

A stop at Lowe’s for building supplies is usually uneventful for me. But the great service I got from a woman working in the bath and plumbing supplies section turned out to raise the bar from the usual. With her help I found everything I need, including she pointed out a a high end custom order item that another customer failed to complete the purchase of being sold at ½ price that would work perfectly for me. Lowe’s is usually my first stop for building supplies, and with service like this it will stay that way.

They didn’t have exactly what we were looking for… the Cone location did. But they did have a nice selection of flowers and landscaping items. I prefer this Lowes to the Cone location because its not only closer but it’s on a better side of town too.

I like shopping at Lowe’s Home Improvements, and especially this location. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable folks work here. I am not the biggest fixer-upper in the world, but what things I do attempt I have found help here. They have a very nice, and rather large home garden/plants/shrub area. Their appliance sections is nice, with decent pricing — have bought several large items here — stoves, fridges, etc — always been pleased. They can help you feed nearly any bird, you can think of, and deny the squirrels at the same time. But, maybe best of all, you can go in there and buy light bulbs for your house that are higher then 100 watts, and are still the shape of the light bulb as we know it. I buy several packages each time I go & hoard them — and I pay cash so it will be more difficult for«Big Sis» to track my purchases. This is a local(North Carolina) company — even more reason to support it. I would give them 5 stars if their parking lot had more than one entrance.

Best Lowe’s in Greensboro. Better staffing and selection than at the other ones, except perhaps at the ones on South Holden and in NE Greensboro during clearance events. Difficult to get in and out sometimes – too bad Edney Ridge can’t be used for anything but truck deliveries. ..

I have to say that out of all the Lowe’s Home Improvement stores in GSO, this one is my favorite. They have the largest selection of lighting and the people are always so nice and eager to help you. No hassel returns and the crowd there doesnt look like they just left Wal-Mart if you know what I mean. Even though this one is a bit out of the way for me, I continue to go here first!

Great Lowe’s for garden and landscaping supplies. I bought all of my power tools here. Also have a vast selection of plants, flowers, veggies, seeds, bushes and trees. Staff are all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Helped me find discounts every time I shop. Well, only when I accept their offers to assist. :-)

Not the biggest Lowe’s around, but they still have just about everything you need when it comes to hardware and home improvement products. This particular location has a friendly, helpful staff, and they have a self checkout system to speed up checkout time. There’s only one way in and out of the parking lot of this Lowe’s, which is sometimes a pain because there’s a great deal of traffic in and out of the lot as well as along the main road in front of the place(Battleground Avenue). Nonetheless, this particular Lowe’s is convenient for me, so it’s usually the location I visit.
