With heavy hearts, we had to say goodbye to this place. Not for a bad reason, but because an opportunity arose that had to be jumped on. This is another story however. My daughter attended from 2 months to 18 months. La Petite is one of those places that I knew was the right spot upon visiting it for the first time. After viewing several places in one day, this was the last stop. So «save the best for last» applied here. This was the only one that didn’t seem fake or like they were just putting on a show for a visitor. It was also the farthest place from my house that I looked at and was worth the drive daily to/from it. Every day care I looked at was comparable in price. La Petite has also been very flexible for scheduling, particularly since I have summers off from work. I know my hellion loves this place by her actions. She literally would run to the door, grab any pair of her shoes, and rush me out to go. Never mind that she hadn’t eaten, had a diaper changed, etc. She did this on weekend days as well. Hard to say no to her on these days that she wasn’t able to attend. Marsha and her staff have been excellent. My daughter loves them. She would run up to the them and hug them. They also let her«escape» at times to other age groups and play with bigger kids. She knew every staff member regardless if they worked with her daily or not. Every staff member knew her as well. Most days I had to drag her out because she wanted to roam around and see everyone. It should also be noted the things she has learned. She knows some basic words and phrases that I never taught her myself. She also is now a dancing queen. Play some music and she gets excited and dances like a pro. This is no joke. If there was a toddler«So You Think You Can Dance,» she would win it! La Petite has been a great experience and I recommend it to current parents, or ones that are looking for a day care in general. Awesome place.
