Ghassan’s

I believe they have the best Pastrami sub platter I have ever had! I don’t even look at the menu anymore. The only choice is the 8″ or 12″ sub, and this time I was better and had the 8″ one. And the dressing for the salad is excellent and the fries are always hot and crispy. I am glad they are not any closer or I would be there everyday.

I always enjoy a Ghassan’s salad. This location is closest to my home so it’s usually the one I go to. I’ve been eating here for years and I always get the same thing every time, the double chicken skewer with double salad, I just can’t get away from it. The salad is pretty simple, a pile of lettuce topped with tomatoes & feta cheese with their house made dressing, which is really good, basically oil & vinegar with a bunch of herbs & spices in it, it’s also sold in bottles to take home. The chunks of chicken on a stick are always nice and tender and the warm pita bread that comes with it is just great.
The only other thing I’ve tried from Ghassan’s is their steak & cheese sub which is not a favorite version of mine. The steak is like thin shavings of beef chopped kinda fine, finer than most. Very dry the couple of times I had the sammich and doused with way too much oil & vinegar, so much the bread was covered in oil on the outside & just a drippy slick mess. I just stick with my ol’ stand by, double chicken skewer/​double salad.
