The dinner was great. Our family selected this place to treat our father on father’s day weekend. The staff was very nice and cordial. Anjel our server did a great job. I loved the warm bread and lobster bisque. My main course the delmonico was prepared nicely. We over all enjoyed the experience. After a few missteps during the evening, the staff came thru with flying colors. Kudos to Kirby, Anjel and team. Now my last suggestion… fix that sticking front door.

This place is pure class. I decided to stop by for dinner. I ordered a New York strip with mashed potatoes. Delicious potatoes and the steak was phenomenal. I was kinda hoping for surf and turf(lobster) but they did not have lobster. The service was really nice. The waiter was courteous and well spoken. I will surly return

We had been wanting to try this place since they opened and finally went on a date night. The service was excellent. The food mediocre. We started with the crab, avocado, tomato app. The avo was slightly over ripe, while the tomatoes were under ripe and lacked flavor. The iceberg lettuce on the bottom, unnecessary. For $ 14 we expected much more. My 6oz filet was cooked perfectly, although way under seasoned. I added the maitre d butter, which had no flavor at all. After dining on a Ruth’s Chris buttered steak, I guess maybe my expectations were to high. I will say it was a great cut of meat, perfectly tender. The braised Brussels side had great flavor, yet the portion size was tiny. I think I had maybe 4 whole pieces of sprouts, while the rest was bacon, onions and liquid. My husband enjoyed his tenderloin tips with scallops over mashed potatoes. They have a nice wine selection. We were underwhelmed by the dessert choices. Basic run of the mill choices, but it was cheat day so we went for it. Got the beignets. Boring and not worth the calories. I might be willing to give it a second shot, but honestly for the price I would likely choose Ruth’s Chris.

I went to B Christopher for Valentines day. As I already knew the food was expensive however the food portion did not match the price. The steak was a nice size and cooked perfectly however it was under seasoned. I ordered a delicious a la carte caesar salad it was not chopped and it was a baby stalk of romaine lettuce $ 7.00 so I was not happy about that. Fried onion crisps were just okay. Our dinner price was $ 112. Service was fabulous thats why I gave it 3 stars. I was underwhelmed with the food and I would not return.

First off, the service is top notch. Very friendly and catering to our needs. Second, you must try the bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp for an appetizer. We had the porterhouse for two, and it was excellent. Corn brûlée was also delicious. The crème brûlée was simply amazing as well. 5 stars

I have been wanting to try the Greensboro edition of B. Christopher’s since they opened and at long last I did. Once we were seated everything was terrific. Our waiter was very personable and excellent. We shared the crab cake appetizer which was very good although very small(about the size of a melon ball). The Warm Bacon Spinach salad was delicious. The Romaine Salad is also wonderful. I had the Filet Mignon which was prepared perfectly with a very nice crust. For sides we had the Brussels, corn brûlée, and garlic mashed potatoes. The Brussels are incredible with carmelized onions. The garlic mashed potatoes and corn pudding brûlée were also very good, but those Brussels sprouts and carmelized onions were awesome. We finished dinner with the Apple Tart with Caramel Ice Cream. Fantastic! B. Christopher’s is a very nice restaurant in a great downtown setting: an urban feel. Service is excellent as is the food. Very classy place.

I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. My filet was cooked absolutely perfect and the cream corn was to die for. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!!

Great atmosphere. Excellent food. I recommend the grilled romaine salad. French onion soup and what the special of the day is. I haven’t been let down yet. Everything is exquisite.

This is a mixed review. I loved the service, with the exception of the coffee service. The«rib eye» I ordered was unacceptable. I have eaten at the best steakhouses around, but I have never paid that much for a ½″ steak. Everybody but Christopher’s knows that a steak needs to be 1.5 inches. It was cooked properly, but the pink center was so thin that it was only slightly better than well done. tt of Greensboro

Wow. What a disappointment. I had the surf and turf. It consisted of two scallops that were very chewy. I only ate one of them. My steak was very tough. I kept trying to find a section that was tender and without grissle but that didn’t happen. I just couldn’t eat it. The lobster bisque was very average and I prefer my bisque hot, not warm. The apple dessert tart with caramel ice cream was fabulous! That’s where the only star comes from. Had I not been a guest with a large party I would have sent it all back. I don’t plan to eat there again

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful, fine dining experience at B. Christopher’s this past weekend. The service and food were exceptional. We shared a bottle of wine and the Chateaubriand Steak for Two. This was our first time ordering this cut of steak. We would definitely recommend it. The house made sauces were out of this world and complimented the steak beautifully. If you are looking for an elegant, fine dining experience in Greensboro, B. Christopher’s is definitely a great option.

B. Christopher’s is a really nice steakhouse located right off Center City Park in downtown Greensboro. There is a very nice bar there and a nice clean modern feel to the restaurant. Just so happens that tis the season for prom so there were several tables full of young guys in tuxedos and girls in brightly colored ruffled dresses. We started off the evening with appetizers of calamari and the crab and avocado cocktail. I tried the second app because they were out of the lobster bisque. It was a martini glass filled with avocado slices and tomatoes over some cilantro and dill topped with some«crab salad». Entrees were the NY strip served Oscar style(lumb crab meat with cream) over asparagus(however once agiain they were out of the asparagus so she subbed the Brussels and Bacon), I opted for the 10oz filet. Both steaks came cooked perfect to temp, and had a nice crust to them. Not the best steak I have ever eaten(that title is still held by a restaurant in Buenos Aires) but it was pretty good. We split a dessert of raspberry beignets. All with a nice bottle of Italian Amarone. Our server Kenneth was very professional and made the evening better for us both. All in all a nice night, and although I am not normally bothered about restaurants being out of items as it shows that they aren’t buying things in mass quantities and letting them sit on the cooler shelf for extended periods of time, it is why I gave the 4 star rating instead of the 5 star. I will be back though as a good steakhouse in the Triad is always a plus in my book.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful the food is here at B. Christopher’s. I’ve had the pleasure of dinning here four different occasions. My only disclaimer is that the food here is quite expensive but well worth it. This is the perfect restaurant for a special evening. Everything I’ve had here was nothing short of divine. My favorite was the fillet and mashed potatoes, they are so good and the fillet was cooked just right. I liked the fillet so much I ordered it again the next time as a part of the surf and turf. I highly recommend the trying what ever is featured as the daily special. You just can’t go wrong at B. Christopher’s.

B. Christopher’s a downtown treasure, don’t let this pass you by! The aroma of that freshly baked bread will stop you in your tracks! Your only problem will be making a decision. Desserts? Cream brûlée or chocolate torte– who could ask for anything more? Dinner at Christopher’s is always a special occasion! Thanks guys!

This little gem has been sitting right downtown for awhile now, but I haven’t made it a priority to head in. Until last night. My reluctance was mostly due to the lackluster comments from friends about their experiences there. After last night, I’m going to stop listening to them! The atmosphere is one of Greensboro’s best. Walk into the building, look out the window, and you’ll immediately have the sense that you’re in a much larger city. The service was welcoming and warm, if a little slow. I found myself with an empty glass a little longer than I would have liked. I chose the Chilean Sea Bass special and was delighted. You can tell a lot about the quality of a restaurant(especially the chef) based on his specials. Speaking of the chef, he emphasized the rare side of my companion’s medium rare steak, which worked out for me since I got an extra bite or two. I can’t wait to get back, albeit for a special occasion. For me, the prices prevent this from being an everyday kind of place.

I had an exceptional dinner here last night – and think I may very well have found my new favorite steakhouse in Greensboro! The atmosphere was elegant, if not overbearing. Our server made us feel welcome while not being as pretentious as many often are. After some deliberation, my girlfriend and I decided on the Oysters Rockefeller and Chateaubriand tenderloin for two. The oysters rockefeller were delicious, if a little different than what I am used to(there was much less spinache and more cheese). The steak was served cooked and slice perfectly on a gorgeous platter alongside the sides. We had the mashed potatos(good, if not exceptional), and the corn brulee, which was out of this world – a corn souflee with a carmelized sugar crust. The bread and bernaise sauce were also delicious. While not overly an issue, I do wish they had a lengthier beer list. Though the wine list was quite good(and reasonably priced as well), I do often prefer a good beer with my steak and the selection amounted to about a half dozen rather standard bottles. I will definitely be back here – on price, food quality, and service, this new addition to Greensboro blows Flemings and Ruths Chris out of the water.

I had a superb dinner at B. Christopher’s last night. It was a truly outstanding experience. I had not been there before and did not know what to expect other than I knew it was a steakhouse of some repute. The environment is nicely modern, but still feels charming. Dark woods around the bar and big picture windows that look out on to downtown Greensboro streets and glass buildings. I was there early so I didn’t get a real feel for the ambiance after dark. I’d like to see the place when the sun goes down. The server was nice and friendly(not overbearing or pushy as some know-it-all steak servers can be) and she helped me and my wife choose the best steaks/meals for us and my two boys. I would request her again next time. After careful consideration I ordered the Chateaubriand for two. It is hard to give it enough superlatives to reflect how delicious and well cooked this beef was. I ordered it medium and it came perfectly medium. It was so tender that sometimes my fork failed to be able to fork it. I had this cool thing happen. So, I would of course cut the meat into bit sizes and then try to fork it off the plate. I slid my fork through the meat and when I went to pick up the meat with the fork, my fork would just slide out of the meat. It was that tender! I overcame this little quirk by cutting the meat into ever larger pieces. My sons ordered petite filets and both raved heavily about them. Sides were good, but the star of the meal to me was the Chateaubriand. We drank a wonderful house merlot and waters. The merlot was quaffable and to my palate was a good accompaniment to the rich flavors of the meat I’m not a wine guy, but I know what I like when I taste it and this merlot was very good I thought. We finished every bite that was served to us including to baskets of fresh baked bread. It was the best steak I’ve had since I moved to Greensboro 3 years ago. I can say I think it probably the best steak around. Not to be missed if you love your beef tender, juicy and delicious. One small caveat, the bill was as rich as the food, so be advised this is going to set you back easily a cool $ 125 or more for 4 people.

I liked B Christopher’s in Burlington. I love it in Greensboro! I think most folks here will too! Disclaimer: This is not an inexpensive restaurant, in fact, this is a pretty expensive restaurant — be aware, be prepared, and don’t bitch about the prices. The restaurant is attractive, very upscale The staff is very professional, very well versed on what this restaurant offers, and the kitchen is very accomodating with tweeks on dishes. The menu is rather compact, especially on the entrée side. The Porterhouse for 2($ 76) is a monster steak, with great taste, and it was cooked exactly as requested. Normally, they serve this steak sliced, but they were more than willing to serve it whole — we wanted to carve it ourselves. This is an incredible chunk of great tasting beef. The Onion Crisps were also perfectly done, and totally addictive. The Crab Cake Appetizer($ 14) was excellent, but really small for that price. The Flourless Chocolate Tort was amazing, as rich & creamy as any dessert I’ve encountered. The Crème Broulee was right there as well, though smallish. This was a spectacular meal, made even more enjoyable by a great server(Wilson), a pleasant, experienced bartender, and a vist from Chef Chris. Welcome to Greensboro, we’ll definitely be back.

B. Christopher’s is a classic steakhouse that brings a wonderful new option for fine dining in downtown Greensboro. Located across from Center City Park, this is a great spot to soak in some of Greensboro’s great big town/small city vibe. Our server was very cordial and attentive although he did not seem very knowledgeable about the menu or the beers available. The food was very good. A little plate of cornichons and olives as well as an outstanding sourdough were served gratis. We had the French onion soup(classic presentation) and grilled Caesar for starters. Both were also very good. The NY strip was plenty for the two of us to share with two sides. There are several sauce options for free and then more options at an up-charge. We didn’t have room for dessert but the options sounded delicious. The restaurant is classy and has lots of small, intimate spaces spread out across a fairly large dining room. The restaurant has only been open two weeks but they are off to a great start and B. Christopher’s had an excellent reputation from the Burlington location that will hopefully generate some early buzz here in Greensboro. Our server said they might start doing lunch at some point, but for now it’s dinner only.
