Excellent Venezuelan food, friendly staff, clean place. Addictive place for sure! Try the different cheeses and seafood cocktails. Very fresh. Excellent coffe!

My favorite lunch stop in west palm beach. The Dona arepa is spectacular, as is the special steps with stewed beef and cheese. Empanadas are my favorite appetizer, and don’t miss the spicy hot green salsa. The price to performance ratio is off the charts here, and every bite is a treat. Just exactly perfect!

This is a little local restaurant that does dine in and carry out. I stopped here for lunch and had the namesake Doña Arepa. Service was fast, prices were reasonable, and the food was excellent. I would definitely eat here again.

Venezuelan food! Crossed off my bucket list and a new favorite. Of course I had to try an arepa… and obviously one of the specialty ones. I chose La Llanera — steak, cheese, avocados and I asked them to add jalapeños…as always, love that little kick! This arepa was sooooo yum! I added some of the avocado sauce, garlic sauce and hot sauce and voila! Perfection! I also had a side order of the fried yuca with garlic sauce — probably some of the best I’ve ever had. Crispy, hot and dense — just like fried yuca should be. My boyfriend got the breakfast special #3…it was good but nothing like my arepa… try it — you won’t be disappointed!

Great food and great service. Went 4 days in a row to have breakfast here during my vacations in West Palm Beach. The food is delicious and the service makes you feel like home. One of the best Venezuelan food places I’ve been in Florida.

I come here whenever I’m in South Florida. You would never known it’s there unless someone let you in on it. Consistently excellent in every regard. I always leave with a fully belly and a smile on my face.

Excellent food and service. I told the server it was my first visit. Very helpful to explain the menu. I had the chicken soup & The Dona Arepa, their house special Arepa(pork, cheese, tomato & avocado in a grilled Arepa). I finished up with flan & a café con leche. Very reasonably priced. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. A great neighborhood restaurant. Close your eyes, listen to the music and you’re in Venezuela. Enjoy…

I used to love this place. Last few times all I got was overcooked rice, salty black beans and cold shredded beef. Today I ordered cachapas and the cheese inside was almost invisible. Got to step it up, the Puerto Rican joint right next door is light years better now.

Great place! We tried an appetizer platter that included all kinds of fried delicious cheese and chicken and beef empanadas. All were excellent. For meals, we had Venezuelan pot roast and shredded beef criollo. Both were very good. I liked that with your lunch special, they include soup. Prices were more than fair and service was on point. We would love to return.

This was the best Venezuelan food I have had outside of my mom’s own kitchen. Arepas are my #1 comfort food and these delicious creations did not disappoint. I will absolutely be back when I am in Floria again and I know that my mom will also love it while she is there. SOS Venezuela.

This little gem is proof that you don’t have to drive all the way to Miami for good Venezuelan food. I never thought I would be taking my mom out to eat arepas in Greenacres after introducing her to these griddled corn cakes with various fillings at a favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. I was impressed by the extensive menu offered at Doña Arepa, full of plates and items I’d never come across before. I’m a vegetarian so I didn’t try the cazón, a small shark species, but it is an option for the adventurous eater. This was my first visit to Doña Arepa, so I ordered my standard Venezuelan favorites: tequeños, arepas, and cachapas. Cheese is the common ingredient in these three items, and Doña Arepa knows her queso. I was able to try queso Guayanés and queso de mano and found both to be very delicious and unique Venezuelan varieties of queso fresco. I will definitely be back to try some of the other offerings after this memorable initial tasting. The food is very affordable and lunch specials are available. You can also find cerveza Polar and a fun assortment of chocolates and candies from Venezuela at this 100% Venezolano establishment.

The creamy vegetable soup is fantastic, so is the Venezuelan version of the ‘jibarito’ sandwich.(Jibarito is the Puerto Rican name, can’t recall what they call it in Venezuela), the Bistec Encebollado, not so much. Service is friendly and they remembered my dining companion, from back at their smaller location, which is nice. This new, much larger location is spacious and airy, and they’re looking to get live entertainment and dancing like at the old location. It does have a cafeteria-y feel, but that’s ok with me. Now pass me some more of that soup…
