Sadly I think they are closed. Super nice and helpful staff. They had a huge selection — all plants that thrive in the desert.

My mother spent nearly 11 grand w these guys and they treat her like a nuisance. DONOTUSETHISCOMPANY. As usual the process started off well, with the owners doing the normal nice act to get her money. Now, plants that were guaranteed to be replaced are considered to have died from«acts of god» are not being replaced. Dwarf plants were planted by accident and now we’re blatantly be lied to about that. Just continuos lies and rude comments. I guess they have so much business that they don’t need to honor their word or show even normal levels of respect to people who spent a good deal of money with them and made the mistake of trusting them. We were told some ground cover would be replaced in 3 weeks, roughly 10 weeks later we’re told they hadn’t come in. Not like these are rare wild orchids or something. Normal everyday landscaping ground cover used all over this area. Total lies. They just didn’t want to deal with it. Real nice. If the job was too big or too much hassle for them they should’ve told us so. Instead it’s been a huge waste of money, time and our patience. I don’t know how they stay in business.

I just had a wonderful experience at this plant nursery today and had to share with everyone. Two brothers, Wayne and Steve, own this place and they were a great find. My husband and I have bought a few citrus trees over the years and managed to kill just about all of them. We bravely thought we would try again, since we see so many tall and healthy citrus trees in this area. But we knew we were going to need some help if we wanted to actually keep them alive this time. We found the Green Valley Nursery on Google and decided to stop in, although we doubted we would find what we needed in such a small town nursery. Boy, were we wrong! They have a large selection and they are so knowledgeable here. Wayne told us how to plant our new trees and what ammendments to add to the soil. He helped us pick out some great looking trees and I am feeling very confident that they have a good shot of actually surviving in our care. With all the tips he gave us, I am almost hopeful they will thrive even, but I don’t want to get carried away with myself just yet. However, I was delighted to learn that you can actually grow apple trees here! And peaches too. In the desert… Who would have thought?! This nursery has everything from trees to flowers to houseplants and we were happy to not have to transport our plants in the heat all the way from Tucson. I think the owners have lived here all of their lives and they really know their plants, the micro-climates of the area and the soil. I highly, highly recommend buying plants here and I’m really glad to have such a great local nursery!
