So I just had a kitchen nightmares moment. You know, when the owners go batsh** crazy? I called my order ahead, go in with my 2 year old to pick up dinner, and was told it’s $ 23.64. I say, oh I only have $ 23 in cash, that ok? He says it’s $ 23.64. Then just stares at me. I ask about a card and he says $ 24.64. I’m thinking, so I’m 64 cents short and he’ll charge me another dollar? I say hold on, go around to the back of the building to my car to rummage for the 64 cents, find it and come back, dragging my little one with me. I put it on the counter and he meticulously counts it! As he gives me the food, I say, you know, for a local place like this(it’s a small house-looking building) I wouldn’t expect to be nickel and dimed like this. He immediately yells and says, don’t you try to nickel and dime me you b**ch! I say watch your language around my daughter and he says get out of here you f*cking b**ch! His anger was uncalled for and TOTALLYINAPPROPRIATE in front of my 2 year old daughter!!! When I told my husband who was waiting in the car, he went in and asked the guy(who was the owner!!) if he called me a b**ch and he totally went off on my husband and tried to start a fist fight! I will go on every food website to let everyone know what a psycho this owner is and know that he totally disrespected me and my child. DONOTGOTHEREIFYOUAGREEMYFAMILYWASTREATEDPOORLY!!!

First time here … Food is awesome Service is great, small but cozy and very very clean. The décor is unique and interesting. You can tell people that work here truly loves their business.

Honestly, I was ready to write one of the worst of all my reviews for Giuseppe’s Pizza. I was served a pizza that I certainly didn’t think I ordered; the cheesesteak pizza that I ordered(now I see was not on the menu) was totally missing the yellow cheese. When I asked about it, after it was boxed, they weren’t able to do anything. Okay. On top, I was charged a credit card fee of $ 1 on a $ 24 tab(pizza and 20 oz soda). Then, I tasted the pizza and changed my mind. Sweet sauce, real steak, sautéed onions and mushrooms = quality ingredients. Final assessment: Giuseppe’s cheesesteak pizza is definitely more expensive than the few other places I’ve been to in Dunellen and Middlesex, but I suppose that it is justifiable. I will decide later on if I’ll return…

I have had pies from here a few times, I think they are very good. Prices are comparable. Delivery was swift. I will order from them again. I actually switched from another local place because their crust was tasting like it had been frozen. Giuseppe’s tastes fresh.

We have been going to the family owned and operated restaurant for a few years now. We are primarily fans of the pizza but they do serve other types of food/sandwiches as well. The owner and his wife are very nice and they always make sure that we are satisfied with our order. We often enjoy the polite conversation while waiting for our order as well. I don’t feel that the establishment is at all dirty, as previously mentioned in a comment, however each consumer is entitled to their own opinion.

Very dirty inside, much better places around town for Pizza. They have an interesting Pizza menu but the filth and dirty mop inside the restaurant were enough to make me walk out on my order. Previously I have ordered delivery from there(before I actually saw the inside of the place) and it was always subpar at best.
