Service was good… food ok but came out very messy on plates… people eat with their eyes first… eggs benney was bland as well as my son’s dried out side of pork

Great place, great food and friendly service! Though Unilocal says they close at 2, they closed earlier today. Like noon. But we were lucky to get in. A+

Came here for a Packers game. Love local eateries. This is a must stop if you’re in the neighborhood.

We passed by Green Bay to go up to U.P. and stopped by Skip’s Diner for lunch. Food was edible. Portion was small. Coffee tasted like wet dog. McDonald’s might have been a better choice.

We stopped in for breakfast before our tour of Lambeau. Our server was friendly, offered quick service and was very attentive. The food was yummy and very affordable. The place has a nice hometown feel even if you aren’t from the area. I would definitely go back.

We asked Siri for a breakfast suggestion near Lambeau Field and up popped this place. It is not some place that we would have automatically picked on our own, but we were glad we followed ‘her’ advice. Don’t go if you are on a diet or want anything other than good old fashioned down home cooking. Portions are huge. We could easily have shared an omelet and still had leftovers, particularly because we each ordered a ‘small’ order of pancakes instead of toast. The two pancakes with each order were each about eight inches across and quite good. The omelets were really good too. I ordered Skip’s special and loved all the veggies and ham, well cooked. Too bad I couldn’t eat it all! Another positive was how friendly the server and the cook both were. We enjoyed our brief stay at this breakfast spot.

This place was awful! I went for breakfast hoping for a nice quick greasy spoon but this did not meet even the most basic expectations. The waitress was way under staffed, there was one cool and it took forever. We waited close to an hour for terrible freezer burnt tasting hash browns, cold toast and mediocre eggs. The waitress tried to keep up but food piled up in the window from the kitchen making the food running process chaos. I don’t know how this place got 5 star reviews from other people. This was worse than one off day. Try somewhere else for breakfast even if you want no frills. Cereal would have been better.

After years of visiting Green Bay, and now being part-time residents, we finally made a visit to Skip’s. My wife had the«Classic Breakfast»: eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast, which was as tasty as any breakfast anywhere. I had the«Packer Omelet,» which featured onions, peppers, etc., as well as the hash browns inside, and smothered in hollandaise sauce. Our server was friendly, and the food arrived very quickly. We will return again, for sure.

Probably one of the fondest memories we will have on our trip to GB for the last game of the season. Skip’s is pretty much the quintessential american diner — friendly services and quick turnaround at a bargain price. We liked it so much here on the first morning of our trip that we came back the following morning of the game for round two. This place should be on everyone’s list of places to visit when making a trip to GB.

Every time we travel to Green Bay from Florida Skip’s is a must stop for breakfast. It is just a great part of the whole small town Green Bay experience friendly staff and good food in a classic diner setting only blocks from historic Lambeau Field

Great local spot. I hope you bring your appetite when you belly up to this counter because they are not shy about poling some food on your plate. We went in on a rainy morning and we were absolutely starving. After finding out that the Packer Hall of Fame won’t open until April 2015 we were pretty bummed but this place took us right out of the funk. Our waitress was very sweet, even though she seemed a little shy, and took really good care of us. The cook laughed with us and said good morning through her window. The staff, in general, was very sweet and made our morning better. And when I stupidly forgot my sunglasses inside, the waitress ran out in the rain to give them back to me. I had the eggs benedict. I’m pretty sure I had enough food to last me a week. Don’t get me wrong, I was really happy to eat my weight in hollandaise, but there was definitely plenty to go around. My boyfriend got the standard bacon, eggs, pancake breakfast — which really surprises me because he usually doesn’t like sweet stuff — but he chose wisely because those pancakes were delicious! This is a great place to stop in if you’re in Green Bay before a game. Great little local diner!

Excellent coffee! If you can’t make up your mind between an eggs Benedict and a Denver omelette, try the packer skillet. It is the best of both worlds combined!
