MTA Subway – Kings Highway

A nearby train station to take to the city when needed. It’s only a 10min walk to the back entrance on Highlawn Ave. A great and quick route to take to college. But now, the only downfall is that the back entrance is closed down for construction i guess.

My local train station and very convenient for me as its 5 mins away from my house. The station like the others along the «N» line in Brooklyn are crumbling, moldy and is desperate in need of repairs. Luckily the MTA is going to tear down the old Kings Highway station and replace it with a brand new one that is more in good repair and in better condition. One thing I like about this station out of the 8 other stations in Brooklyn is that if an «N» train breaks down along the line, the incoming «N» trains can switch over to the express tracks to avoid issues with the train that broke down. Overall there’s not much I can say about a subway station but the fact that it’s in disrepair but like I mentioned, it’s gonna be taken care of as the new year rolls in and traveling along the «N» becomes more stressful as the repairs are going on.
