What a great find! Delicious food, great atmosphere and a fantastic waitress! Ask for Jenn and she’ll take good care of you. Started off with their half and half soup which is half Maryland crab soup and half cream of crab, which is a wonderful combination. Then we split a pound of steamed shrimp, very good and just the right amount if spices. Finished off my dinner with a soft crab BLT. Very good sandwich with the biggest soft shell crab I have seen in a long time. It fit the entire bun and that is saying something since soft crab sandwiches usually falls short, but not here at the Jetty. The rest of our table had salmon salad, Kent island burger, and a crab cake sandwich. All looked delicious. Service was fantastic, our waitress was on point and handled all requests without any hesitation. Finished the meal with a nutty buddy, which is one of the dessert specialities! All in all a great meal, not terribly expensive and definitely a great find! Give it a try!

Go somewhere else if you can help it. Extremely unfriendly and unprofessional staff. It was kind of surreal, really. Having never been to the Jetty, I momentarily thought it was one of those theme restaurants where the servers act like they’re grumpy and insult you. But no – that was not the case. They were genuinely misanthropic. And I don’t just mean unfriendly or not talkative. I mean they actually treat you like they don’t want you there. It wasn’t just one person either, so I can only speculate that management must mistreat the staff, who in turn hate everyone that walks in the door. So strange. We took the hint and went elsewhere. By the way, Bridges Restaurant, located across the parking lot, is wonderful. More expensive, but worlds apart.

This is not a fancy dining establishment where you write about the perfectly cooked meats and attentive service. This place knows what it is and doesn’t care what you think — which is great, if that’s your current mood. It’s a giant, over-the-top, neon coated bar beast that is quick with the drinks and short on the conversation. Go here if you want to chat up the local fisherman and swap travel stories with business people staying at the nearby hotels.

Bloody marys are delicious but we were pretty pissed to find out, AFTER we’d paid our bill, that we were never told they were actually on special… AUCD for $ 11! Our waitress never mentioned the special to us and then proceeded charge us for 5 @ $ 6.50/ea to pad the bill. The only reason we found out was because we began chatting with the table next to us and they mentioned the special during conversation. When we brought it to the staff’s attention, we were told they couldn’t refund the difference to our credit card but would, instead, comp us for a few shots of Fireball. There are definitely some shady business practices going on here!

Do not bother stopping in here! We were coming across the Bay Bridge and wanted to stop at Hemingway’s we had eaten there before and had good food at a reasonable price, but the reviews here convinced us otherwise and we decided to have lunch at the Jetty. Forgive us, we were foolish! They had 3 to 4 bartenders on and all of them looked pissed off and had other things to do than wait on customers. Or maybe they were just waiting on the Norms of the establishment, hard to tell. When we did finally get waited on, they acted as if they were doing us a favor. I will tell you this, if I am buying a $ 12 cheeseburger, I would hope that it had some taste and some moisture to it. Sorry, do yourself a favor, save your money and skip this place as you head to OC.

The Jetty is certainly nothing fancy, but a staple of Kent Island. I wouldn’t choose it for dinner, but they do a decent breakfast — basically anything you could want for breakfast, and at a good price. Of course sitting outside is a huge plus for me, too! They have the deck plus picnic tables in the sand. Late night drinks are fun here for the outdoor, beachy vibe, and yes, there are going to be drunk people on the prowl, but it’s a good time!

Food: sub par and over priced. Atmosphere: loud, crazy, sticky, old drunk people everywhere, screaming kids, etc. Someone threw up on my husband in the bathroom. Gets 2 instead of 1 because the location on the water is nice and I realize this floats some people’s boats…

Just after we crossed the bridge we decided to get lunch at The Jetty Dock Bar, a waterfront restaurant in Graysonville, MD known for its seafood and beach atmosphere. We’ve been there before and really like it because of its laid back vibe, big menu, and dog friendliness – it even has a dog menu. We sat on the beach area at a covered picnic table and ordered lunch and a couple of beers. I got a crab shrimp plate($ 18) and my wife got a veggie wrap($ 10). Not the best deal in the world but given the setting I expected to pay up. The food was pretty good, not great, but overall this is a great place to spend a few hours.

At least one meal at The Jetty is always on the agenda when visiting my family on Kent Island. When out with friends, it’s a dinner of crabs & beers on the dock. When there are kids in tow, we grab a picnic table on the beachy side — the adults have a nice view & the kiddos have a huge sandbox to play. If you bring sunscreen & a hat with a brim, it’s a perfect place to waste away a summer afternoon. This last trip to the Jetty was a little early in the season for picking crabs(at least for us!), so we opted for sandwiches instead. We started with peel & eat shrimp for the table to share. I ordered the Jumbo Lump Crabcake Sandwich(the smaller of the two crabcake sandwiches) and asked for a pretzel bun instead of the regular roll. When our food arrived, I was bummed to see the size of the crabcake — a little small. But then I realized it was really just the right size and merely dwarfed by the huge pretzel bun. Once capped & squeezed a little, the crabcake spread out to every inch of the bun(in a GOOD way!). I added a little tartar sauce and then took a bite. The pretzel bun + crabcake was AWESOME. I shouldn’t have said anything to my table full of Marylanders because immediately my sandwich was being passed around the table so everyone could have a bite. Two thumbs up from every adult at the table. Delish! I had swapped out the standard chips for sweet potato fries — they were mushy instead of crisp, kind of awful. I would stick with the chips next time.

Officially my favorite restaurant! The food is amazing(they have both seafood and non-seafood), their drinks are awesome, and their view is stunning

The food was disgusting, it literally made me sick later in the night. I will never return to this establishment, the service was okay, the server came around just enough for you to not walk out. Terrible place. **Update** I was contacted by the Manager who was very disappointed by my experience, refunded my visit and gave me a gift card in case I ever came in again.

This is a great place to hang out on a nice summer afternoon. It has a real summery atmosphere, with a nice beachy décor and ample seating. The staff has never been less than quick and friendly, and the food, albeit somewhat pricey for what it is, is always decent. The live music is usually pretty good if you’re into that kind of thing. People-watching here never gets old, either, so we’re talking hours of entertainment purely based on just that aspect. The view is beautiful as well, which makes for a pleasant experience if you’re just out for a low-key meal.

The best part of this spot is the amazing people watching the locals provide. There were a plethora of impressive mullets and outrageous outfits. That’s where the fun ended. Drinks were totally watered down. No Hendricks. No red bull. When my first drink was all club soda, I ordered a double for my second, paid my $ 14, only to see that she gave me the same pour just in a taller cup. Come on. The cover band was mediocre. The bathrooms were disgusting. I was told the kitchen was closed and then watched them bring out food for two regulars. Glad I didn’t pay the $ 10 cover, because it is so not worth it. ***They did have a free drunk van that will take you anywhere you want to go in a 10 miles radius, but no one could locate the driver.

After a good day playing at Queenstown Harbor, we decided to grab lunch and some drinks. Let’s hit the jetty one said. So we arrive and grabbed a table right on the water. Fish jumping and ducks swimming and a wonderful view of the bay and Kent Island. The menu has many of the local favorites so picking appetizers was easy. Crab dip and calimari. The price on the blue crabs is just below market, however, I decided on the crab cake. A little smaller than I like however the flavor was perfect. I just wanted more. service was good and we were all happy with our selection. I will be here for the crabs on my next trip. The trays of crabs looked and smelled scrumptious.

Came here with a bunch of friends to conclude our beach trip. I loved the location and how it was right by the water. The outdoor seating had sand and picnic tables which I loved! It definitely gave you that beachy feel to it! I ordered the Shrimp po boy which came with chips and a pickle. The shrimp po boy was delicious but a little bland. Good overall, I would give it a 4⁄5. Noticed the interesting drink specialties that they had but didn’t order any :(boo The service was friendly but a tad bit slow. This place seems like it can get ratchet and trashy real quick though…

Good drinks, and a beautiful view! What’s not to love? We haven’t tried the food yet, but they currently have the best prices for crabs on Kent Island. They have an all you can eat special that’s cheaper than their dozen prices, AND comes with fries and corn. I definitely wanna check it out.

4 for the view, the crab xl for $ 50/dozen, and services. 2 for smoking everywhere, loud music if not properly seated, and not much shade. As a result, 3. The crab price is better than Bo Brooks in Baltimore or Mike’s crab house on Riva road.
