Amazing pizza and yummy wings along with pasta and meatballs, yummy! They also have a great local craft beer selection and local wines! Love the gluten free crust. Come hang at the bar with Jordan, she’ll take great care of you! They also have delivery for the nights you want to hang at home…

This was my first time here. Cool vibe, good service. If I wasn’t such a HUGE fan of wood fired pizza, I might give 5 stars. I LOVE wood fired pizza, so to me, there isn’t much of a comparison, BUT, I am HUGE on FRESH ingredients, and Wise Guys represents! We got one«small» from the top half, and one«small» from the lower half of the menu and have SO much left over! They serve a basket of garlic knots(or two, or three) while you wait, so be careful as to not ruin your appetite! It might take a time or two to find our favorites, but the experimentation will surely be delicious! Chow!

We heard this was the best pizza in Grapevine. If that‘s true Grapevine is in trouble. For the gourmet prices they charge I expected the best pizza ever. Sad to say this was not the case. Ingredients were very sparse and the crust was, well, seemed to be premade. It had kind of a rubbery texture and what one review stated on here similar to Chuck E Cheese pizza. In fact I think I have had better there. Save your money and go go to papa murphys for about half the price and twice the pizza.

I never take the time to write these, but I have to give a shout-out to this place. A Friday night with a soccer team & all of their families & this place took care of us! Their food is always amazing & last night so was their customer service! If you’ve never tried this place, I highly recommend you do — it’s worth it! Thanks, Wise Guys!

Pretty good food, but extremely bad service! About 7:30PM on week night, I walked in and was given a table, menu, and water. Afterwards, the waitress goes to another table and sits and talks for 26 minutes. I had never been before; so I had question on pizza crusts. Finally, I ask another couple at the table across from me, because no matter how much I waved, etc, the staff was determined to ignore the customer. I placed an order with another waitress; and food was ok. I doubt that I would return for dining at a table; as it is obvious that they prefer you order out and not interrupt their important business of ingoring customers.

The family decided on this at the last minute. The reviews were good so we decided to give it a shot. Warm welcome when we walked in and full dining room. That’s a good sign. They bring you fresh bread balls in a basket when you sit down. Amazing! With some Parmesan sprinkled on. One child got the Mac n Cheese and loved it. The rest of us ordered a large«Hitman» pizza with hand tossed crust. It had a white sauce with chicken and was out of this world good. The crust is light and not thick. Some of the best crust I’ve had Ina long time. The owner walks around and talks to each table. It’s obviously family owned and we’ll be back for sure.

I just fell in love with a restaurant. There are almost no words for how much I like Wise Guys pizza. Almost, but not quite. This is a rave review, and I seldom write one. Wise Guys puts out the best sausage grinder in the state of Texas, for starters. Sautéed sweet peppers and onions are nicely browned. Slightly spicy sausage is top quality, and as good as in the old country. With a perfectly grilled roll, and not too much cheese, this is one delicious and authentically Italian sandwich. So simple, and so hard to find here in DFW. The bread they use for the sandwiches comes from New York; the recipes for the sauces and homemade salad dressings from Southern California. Wise Guys is the offshoot of a highly successful pizzeria by the same name in Orange, California; they also have a recently-opened location in Yorba Linda, California. Southern California — especially posh Orange County — has little use for the awful fusion and fake cuisines the mid-cities have been seeing coming and going of late. Wise Guys is the real deal. And if it can make it in The OC, it can make it anywhere. Like here.

Brought the family on a busy Friday night. The waitress was nice, but service was incredibly slow. The garlic knots were surprisingly good, but the pizza was just blah. We tried the Pizza Bianco and the Firestorm and neither were very flavorful. Unfortunately it was similar to the cardboard pizza of so many cheap pizza buffets. The place’s saving grace is their extensive local craft beer list. I feel like it could be a decent happy hour destination, but I don’t see the potential for much more.

Service was excellent, food was delicious, atmosphere was good too! It was my first time there and I enjoyed it very much. Definitely will recommend for eating out! I will probably still order Papa Johns for delivery but Wise Guys is a great place to go eat out with family, friends, or a great date!

Great pizza and brewery. Family from Southern California eat at the uncles place in Tustin frequently and demanded we try the Grapevine, TX location. They were right! Great craft beers from local breweries, variants on pizza crust styles and great toppings.

Dine-in and delivery experiences vary dramatically. Quantity of delivery food is wildly inconsistent. Sometimes the dessert knots will have icing, sometimes not. Sometimes a salad will be served with the dressing(soggy salad by the time it arrives), sometimes it will come on the side. More than half the time, it will arrive very late, and room temp. The pizza you ordered may or may not be the one that arrives at your door. I keep ordering because when it does arrive correct and warm, Wiseguys hits it out of the park. Unfortunately, you have to dine in to experience it.

I’m going to start this review with the positives. The food is incredible! The portions are generous, the bruschetta appetizer fed our table of eight and the wings were super spicy! They had a really cool beer deal, $ 3 for drafts and you got a sweet souvenir glass! That’s pretty cool! The location is hip and fun, however, I’m not sure the staff is equipped to serve a full house. We ordered and our food sporadically started to arrive about 45 minutes upon ordering. I asked the waitress to put in a to go pizza for me about 20 minutes after we ordered and she told me to remind her, so I did. Turns out she had forgotten, but even with the reminder, I never got my pizza… it did appear on my bill though. I requested it be taken off and unfortunately, I had to go somewhere else to get dinner for my boyfriend at home. If you have hours to wait for food, dine here… if you’d like your meal in a timely manner, go somewhere else.

If you like classic pizza then this is the place. Try the fried mac and cheese for appetizer. The crust is perfect! We tried The Don of Meat. That’s a must try on your next visit! All craft/local beers served here(try the Martin House Gateway Blonde). The service here is exceptional. Special thank you to Kevin for always making the trip enjoyable. Check these guys out!

Garlic knots — YUM! Pizza — meh. Tasted like Chuck E. cheese pizza. Service — they acted like they couldn’t have cared less if we were there or not. Took :15 minutes to get a drink order and then only when the manager stepped in. Probably won’t be back.

Updating the rating because we are inside this time and felt the ambiance was lacking. It felt too crowded between tables, the service was a little slow, and it was rather noisy between poor acoustics and some kind of distracting bass sound that may have been from some kind of equipment(maybe that’s a temporary issue). Overall still an outstanding place, but not the best ambiance all around.

My friend wanted to try this place out. No one up front waited for several minutes before we were seated. Initially he took our drink order and appetizer order. We ordered Tony’s fried mac & cheese and Italian hot wings for appetizer. Tony’s Fried mac & cheese is meh — just average — really nothing special. So we ordered the wings and the server comes by and says that they are out of wings and only have 3 and it’s on the house. How do you run out of wings? anyways it tasted good — the flavor tasted good but it reminded me of Tyson’s wings you get from grocery store. We ordered the Chicago deep dish and classic pizza. We ordered the smaller size so we can try them out. We got the Chicago but it wasn’t deep dish nor it wasn’t anything«Chicago» about it. We were looking for the server and no one was around — I think he was taking a smoke break or taking a dump … We were hungry so we just ate the pizza but the cheese wasn’t even melted at all and it wasn’t sticking to the dough. We never got the second pizza — luckily they didn’t charge us for it. I will not go back here for food but maybe for drinks and appetizers — the best part about the visit was 3 free hot wings that I could of bought from Coscto

MUCH better since it’s now a sit down restaurant vs a Chipotle type thing. Service was EXCELLENT! pizza was very good although hard to find any basil on the margarita pizza. Good prices, good vibe. Be prepared… there are ALOT of kids in there. Will definitely be back!

Wise Guys was pretty freaking good for dinner tonight with my family! We got a wonderful fried mac and cheese appetizer, the marinara sauce was sweet and tangy, the cheese sauce has spices and herbs in it to lighten it up. We ordered the Milan pizza which was amazing! And we ordered the white & red clam linguine which was pretty good. We also ordered Bishop’s Crackberry cider, Deep Ellum’s Easy Peasy, and Cedar Creek’s Dankosaurus. All of these beers and ciders were exactly what we were looking for on a hot summer evening. Our server Leslie was very attentive and kind to our table. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone.

5 stars given for our overall experience at a place that hasn’t even had their grand opening yet. One of the owners checked on our table several times. Even gave all 4 of my kids free gelato. I may or may not have tried a little myself. Our waitress was very attentive and personable!!! Pizza roll appetizer was superb. We ordered a cheese and pepperoni Pizza for the kids which was perfect. The wife and I had a pizza loaded with sausage, caramelized onions, and fresh mushrooms. This was a good choice but I will get a thin crust next visit. They have excellent hand tossed crust, but I’m excited to return for the thin and crispy as recommended by the owner. I was most impressed with their taps. All local craft beer and a good variety. About 20 taps to choose from. This will be our new go to when it’s pizza time. Less than a mile from the house. Its on!

Ok, I’m new to Unilocal, but not to traveling the world and eating. Talk about a great addition to the Grapevine/Southlake area! This place has only been opened two days I think, but it is here to stay!!! Phenomenal pizza! Freshest ingredients and so many specialty pizzas to pick from. Thick and thin crusts. If you like spicy, you will love the Flamethrower!!! Service was outstanding! You order and pay right up front. Then take a seat and watch sports on the big screens all over the walls or enjoy some great outdoor seating. Once you sit down, servers are taking drink orders, keeping those glasses full, and making sure you have everything you need. Not one small detail was overlooked!!! I will definitely be back next time I’m in the DFW area!!!
