I eat here with my family nearly every Thursday night. I wish they could get rid of the bad smell in the bar area and turn down the music. The food is good and a good value but the atmosphere here has gotten worse ovet the last year. There used to be a manager/owner who was supervising the dining area keeping everything running smoothly. It appears this has become a corporate owned store and no one in the head office knows or cares about this franchise location. We are considering finding a new place for Thursday night family dinner. There is a Saltgrass Steakhouse nearby.

It’s been years since we’ve been to an Outback and our return visit was just ok. The Bloomin’ Onion was awesome as ever, but the Steaks just didn’t seem to be as good as I remember. I had a Ribeye and my wife chose the Pork Porterhouse. I realize that a Ribeye is not a lean Steak, but I had a few big chunks in the middle of mine and I found it overly salty. Not bad, but I expect more at $ 25+ per person. It’ll probably be a while again before we go back.

Recently took my family to Outback Steakhouse in Grapevine. We had to listen to a sales pitch from the waiter about buying some sort of a membership card. I made it clear that I did not want to buy any membership card of any kind and would he please just stop the sales pitch and take our order. So they screwed up our order. Brought out stuff that none of us ordered, took it back, brought out more stuff that we did not order. Finally got some of the stuff we ordered and we ate it and left. I can only guess this was retribution for not buying one of these membership cards. I have not been back to the Outback Steakhouse in Grapevine since then. I have been treated much better than this at several other Outback Steak Houses.

They were not prepared for business today. The bartender is completely overwhelmed, I’m assuming short staffed. The bottled beer is hot. I had to ask him to put some on ice. I have eaten here many times and it is usually good. Maybe just a bad day

This first visit to Outback was prompted by their very tempting 4 course meal deal commercial. I was wary after reading some of the less than stellar reviews from this location, but it was better than I expected. This chain location seems like a hit or miss. We came on a Monday night while they were still running the promotion(soup, salad, entrée, and dessert for $ 14.99-$ 23.99+ depending on upgrades). For entrees, we ordered the 6 oz sirloin and 10 oz bourbon rib eye. Food came out quickly and our server(Benjamin?) came back multiple times to check on us. The portion sizes for the 4 courses was just right and I enjoyed everything. When the promotion comes back, we will too.

Lamb, one of my favorite dishes at this Outback, lacked the usual great taste and tenderness during my most recent visit. Waitress offer another dish, manager apologized for the problem, offered a soup while I waited for a rack of ribs, which was excellent. And the service for our party of three was excellent. She was highly attentive. Overall, a very good experience.

Taylor, our server, was amazing — 5STARS, but the steak had a thick vein of gristle all the way through. We stopped eating here several years back after the same thing happened two visits in a row. The food was worth about 2STARS, so it looks like it is back to Texas Roadhouse.

So we frequent Outback Steakhouse quite often and I have to say this one was the first bad experience we have had in all of our times. We ordered a Victoria’s Filet and sides and the steak was not good and I didn’t even eat my side it looked like it had been in the fridge for quite sometime at the bottom of a pan and had gross stuff on it. I did contact the manager and he did make it right with half of our meal comped via gift cards but we went to another Outback to use them where the food was wonderful and back to the usual Outback standards.

Exactly what I wanted. Friendly and great food. Everyone worked together, our glasses were never empty. Fabulous food, clean and quiet. Emily was our server and she could not of been more accommodating. She took care of everything! A+

Just got out of the restaurant as this was the worst service of all ! Or should I say no service at all ! Walked out hungry. High school kids are serving tables. After waiting for 30 mins and 2 reminders to the hostess no one shows up or apologizes ! Ridiculous Would never recommend this location at all !

The family comes here often and we always get great service and promtly get our food. We havent had to send anything back because the quality of food is always on par. It is unfortunate that the neighboring restaurants by Outback have shut there doors, im afraid it is because of the hidden location due to the new highway.

I’m a big believer in giving everyone a second chance. Outback used to be one of our favorite restaurants. Tonight, we decided it had been a couple of years since our last bad experience so let’s try again. With a half empty restaurant, our hostess walked us past four empty booths to put us at the entrance to the kitchen. Strike one.(We insisted on one of the booths we had passed.) Now I understand you want to load your stations evenly — but it’s not my job to make the low server on the totem pole happy with my dinner dollars. Coconut shrimp was as good as it has been for almost 20 years.(really good!) Ordered a Cobb salad and instead of server asking«would you like to add chicken to that?» her question was«Do you want that crispy or grilled?» Sleazy upsell attempt. I told her I wanted what I asked for, the Cobb salad(it’s headed downhill… and it gets worse) For $ 9.99 it was a great $ 7.99 salad. My wife ordered a rib eye steak. When the steak arrived I had to look twice to see if indeed it was a rib eye. I have never seen a ½ inch thick rib eye… outside of Denny’s. You can get a thicker hamburger at Fuddruckers. It was somewhat lacking in flavor to boot. I think a thin, tasteless rib eye is a capital offense in Texas — need to check. We placed an order to go as our food hit the table. 15 minutes after we had finished our dinners, the server was asked to check. She did not report back. A manager(?) happened by and we asked her to check for us. The server passed by again, did not talk to us. Manager reappeared with the to go order ready, dropped off check but did not offer to take check for us. Server sauntered over and took check, sauntered back to register, sauntered back with check. 8% tip. So there. My impression of this restaurant is that it is totally UN-managed. Saw a server pushing a tray back and forth on the floor on a tray stand. Never seen that before. The shushing noise as the tray stand went back and forth was quite annoying. Server can’t handle a tray? No problem — get a different job. No manager checked up on us during dinner. Our server did check up on us. My soda never ran dry. That is a good thing. So did the server forget to put in our to go order? Was the kitchen slow? We don’t know. The manager did admit that the order took«longer than normal» and comped us our appetizer. Sadly, when one goes out and spends $ 25/ea for dinner one is not looking for free food. Chili’s is less expensive and better food. Denny’s is half the price with equivalent food. I’m not saying Denny’s food is bad. I am saying if you are going to get a Denny’s meal you might as well pay Denny’s prices. And — I have never seen servers move as slowly in Denny’s as they do at this particular Outback. Outback — we won’t be back. We have given up on you just like we gave up on the Friday’s next door that went out of business several years ago. You’re next…

Burgers are an overlooked thing on their menu! They taste amazing and are a great value. Also, the waiter there named AARON was the best waiter Ive ever had, his attention to detail and ability to interact with the customers was bar none. Would go back just due to the service provided

Great service, food was very underwhelming. I had chop steak came cold and without gravy, which is a common southern meal and always has a side of brown gravy not to mention and hardly any mushrooms or onions. This didn’t ruin the meal for me just very abnormal for Dfw steak house veggies didn’t seem fresh and ribs were very fatty after pealing fat of I could a small bite of meat but not enough to account for the cost. I was very disappointed in quality of food for dollar used to be a great place for the cost

Love their commercials … hate their food. Have to admit it, was watching TV while hungry(never do this) and came across an Outback commercial. The sight of the sizzling T-bone sitting next to the succulent lobster tail with the Bloomin’ Onion on the side set me off on a feeding frenzy. Had to get my steak on, jumped in the car and sped to this Outback in Grapevine. The restaurant and décor were fine — what an Outback should be. The food left my feeding frenzy notably un-sated. The steak wasn’t sizzling, kinda tough, and had a noticeably large amount of gristle. The lobster was more a really big shrimp in my opinion. The Bloomin’ Onion hit the spot but man there’s a lot of grease soaked into that thing. Needless to say… I regretted my choice. If only they can bridge reality and what they show on TV… I’d be here every week. But until then, I’ll satisfy my protein urges elsewhere.

We go here when we have to. If we just can decided on something for dinner, we’ll end up with take out from here. It’s right by a couple of high schools, and a movie theater… So it can be pretty rough with traffic. Pros: 1) «Okay» steaks for the price. Cons: All stereotypical chain-problems… 1) high school kids working, so service can vary drastically 2) Hit or miss on take out 3) crowded as hell pretty much 24⁄7

This location is our family meeting place every other month or so to catch up. We keep coming back for two reasons: 1. The food is perfect every time and they have never messed up a single order.(Kudos kitchen crew!!) 2. A waiter named Tyler who takes care of us every time he sees us & is so energetic and fun! Your every need is taken care of quickly and he has a smile on his face the entire night. We have had a few minor issues with staff attitude, or waiting 10 – 15 minutes for someone to get our drink order but every time a manager(with out our request) has come to make sure we are okay or need anything. Besides a few bad seeds(every place has them) this location has got it together! From the staffing to the food, they have it down!

I’ve only been to Outback once since moving to Texas almost 3 years ago. This was the location we went to, we went for lunch and it was good but since its a bit out of the way we don’t go often. Since becoming pregnant, this last month I’ve been getting cravings! This time it was for Outback ribs! Luckily this location is on the way home from work for my husband and what’s even cooler, they have online ordering!!! I ordered our food(the«no worries Wednesday» deal — which is awesome!) and hubby went to go pick it up. Then I get a text from him that he forgot his wallet. :/greaaaatt. We got lucky and the owner trusted him to come back the next day and pay! OMG! Wow… Thank you manager! You made a hungry pregnant lady’s night! The food was fabulous, still warm and the ice cream for our cake didn’t even melt. Needless to say I will be singing praises for this outback and will be making a conscious effort to visit more often! Can’t wait till this heartburn subsides, I’m dying for a bloomin onion!
