Excellent sauce and crust. Fresh flavor. Bartender(Leah) was great. Even knew how to make a Hemmingway for my wife. Low key but fun for lunch. Just spent 6 months in Manhattan so thought I’d become a «pizza snob» and wouldn’t like, but this place rocks.

You should get the meatballs and if the charcuterie plate is available, jump on it. Every time I am at Fireside Pies is enjoyable for me. The attention from the service staff is prompt without being stifling, the food is above average, and the drinks are well mixed. The staff generally gets it which is more than I can say for most places anymore, but between menu food and the staff’s knowledge and service, I’m a fan.

Our favorite place for our group dates. Its a great place to grab a fancy cocktail, share a unique pizza pie or salad, or eat GLUTENFREE! This place can range from quite loud and rowdy(yay for taking kids) or quiet and romantic; super dim lights, and semi-sultry ambiance. It just depends on where you sit and what time of day you go! The bar is super cool. Large, semi-circular and long, much brighter than the rest of the restaurant and a great place for chatting with girlfriends. Hubby and I love to share the spinach artichoke dip for starters. The triple-roni pizza with added jalepenos(watch out! They’re hot!) and the ceaser salad. It feeds us both and we often have left overs! The best way to eat at this place is family style. Everyone order a different pie, and everyone have a taste! EVERYTHING is just so darn good! Just be ready to spend some dough on your visit. Dinner and drinks for two averages us about eighty bucks at each visit.

Wanted to right a quick review mostly as a reminder to myself but the pizza here is the best I’ve ever tasted in my 43 years of living as of the date I write this. It pretty close to hearing the heavens open. It’s that good.

Second time here. So good. The burrata app is so fresh and creamy. Get the larger portion. The smaller portion won’t be enough because it’s so delicious. Josh was our server, he was great. Meatball app is legit too. Anything with truffle oil here is the bees knees.

I met a friend here for dinner. VERY nice ambiance. The food was great! We both ordered the Fireside cheese salad… AMAZING! The perfect amount of dressing and cheese. Hey, I am funny about salad dressing portions. We split the chicken sausage pie. The mushrooms were not overwhelming, the chicken was spread evenly, and most important… the crust was chewy and crispy(the way I like it)! For drinks, we had the sangria(it was also during happy hour! YES! They have happy hour every day!) which was very good. You can tell they use a good red wine to make the sangria. I will definitely be back to try more pies and more sangria!

Love, love, love their salads! They have a great assortment of shareable salads that are totally delicious! The pizza’s aren’t bad either. Great selection of wines and they always have a fun special of the day/week. Family friendly with a great enclosed patio.

I have a feeling that I might become a once-a-monther. Fireside Pies proves that with just a few simple, yet quality ingredients, something wonderful is formed. We had a really great server(Lindsey) who knew her stuff, but also went above and beyond to say how they make some of their specialties. This is what makes me want to come back and try the thirteenth pie or special salad and featured smoked maple old fashioned cocktail. Only wish we had asked her recommendations before placing our order… guess I will be back soon to try the burata pie. One pizza and a large salad would be perfect for 2 to share. Tonight there were 5 of us and we shared 3 pies and still left with 3 slices, but none of us came starved.

Fireside Pies had a great atmosphere and was in a really cool little area with other good looking restaurants. The service here was top notch. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful, on top of all of our needs, and wasn’t smothering at all. The pizza was very good. We ended up getting a gluten free crust because of my friend and it was pretty good for what it was. I’m sure if I only ate gluten free I would have valued it even more. I would like to go back and try the non-gluten free crust. But the toppings were DELICIOUS. Our server also recommended a specific salad. I think it was called the Fireside Cheese. Was absolutely amazing! The dressing the cheese the large portion. I would definitely recommend trying this salad as it was unlike any salad I’ve ever had!(I added croutons to give it a little extra crunch) All-in-all this was a great experience and I’d definitely say try it out if you’re in the mood for pizza and a great salad!

YESYESYES! We are new to the area and were sad to leave our favorite pizza place behind. Fireside has made my memory fuzzy on what I loved about the old joint. So fresh! Perfect crust. And to top it off the salted Carmel brownie is divine! Great ambience and the patio is perfect on a late summer evening. You owe it to yourself to try these pies.

Reall good pizza with interesting combination and seasonal varieties. Great food, great service, getting drinks took forever(although we were a large 20 people table) but the evening was a success thanks to the waitresses helping us and the family-size shareable portions. Great desserts as well!

I’ve been to the Grapevine location a few times for dinner and/or drinks but as my car was in the shop, I decided to walk across the street from my office to eat lunch recently. They warmly welcomed me at the bar while I had the Meatball Grinder with a side House Salad. What really elevated the warm tender meatballs swimming in a tomato rich sauce topped with melted cheese was the inclusion of the sweet onion relish. A really good price for lunch and I got to watch the wonderful ladies at the bar prepare fresh prickly pears for their cocktails.

While out for lunch today we had a hankering for pizza. Because it is the 4th of July all of the previous pizza places we’ve tried were closed. So we decided to try Fireside Pies. I had seen them on here before but we hadn’t gotten around to trying them just yet. Plus they were open, lol. We got to the restaurant around noon and they weren’t busy at all. There were two or three tables occupied besides us as well as a group at the bar. I’m assuming the lack of a crowd was due to the holiday. The restaurant is very nice. Lots of brick and dark wood. Plenty of comfortable booths. They also have a nice looking covered patio area but it is way too hot to eat outside these days. Our waitress was very friendly and positive. My husband and I each stared with a small salad — he got the Texas Bibb salad and I got the Chopped salad. Both were very good, though I did prefer the Chopped. I would definitely order the larger size for a meal for myself. It was really good. We also(despite my objection — too much food!!!) shared an order of meatballs. They came out looking amazing. Melted cheese draped over four sauce covered meatballs. There was also crostini to eat the meatballs with. The sauce was soooo good. The meatballs were good as well. For our pizza we shared the Balsamic Roasted Chicken Pie. My husband really liked this pizza. It was just not my cup of tea. It was definitely very good. Plenty of blue cheese and spinach on top of a tasty oven fired pizza. I think I’m more of a traditional pizza gal. So we definitely left full, lol. Like I predicted it was just too much food! In total we spent $ 48 and some change before tip. We left stuffed and happy to have tried a new place and a different type of pizza. That being said, if you ARE looking for a basic, traditional pizza this place definitely isn’t what you’re looking for. But if you are looking to branch out I’d definitely recommend them. From what I understand they have a Ft. Worth location that has a broader menu with some pasta dishes. I think we’ll probably give that location a try at some point.

Holy YUM!!! The pizza here is phenomenal! Really though, how can you go wrong with pizza baked over an open flame!!! The pizzas have the perfect amount of toppings, not overwhelming, but not bare. I added arugula and balsamic dressing to my pizza… greatest choice of the night! Of course I ordered beer, they have a pretty awesome local beer selection. The service was okay, it was really busy, but a few times I felt forgotten. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, it is a laid back restaurant. There is a bar, patio, and main dining area. I even saw a family bring their kids in just for dessert! Too bad I was so full from eating an entire pizza, maybe next time I will save room for ice cream or chocolate cake.

Good. Pizzas are always good here. The triple roni is great, it has a lot of oil but tastes great. I also like the updated beer menu(Texas Brews). It’s a good one to check out.

We came here on a Saturday night without a reservation and were seated right away. Our server was great. She was the perfect about of attentive without being overly obnoxious. My hubby and I started off with a large Ceasar Salad. Our friends got a small salad. We couldn’t really tell a difference between the sizes, except for we were charged more :/Besides that, the salad was delicious. I am still craving it. We also got the triple roni pizza. Between the two of us, it was the perfect portion. I would definitely come back here again. Especially for the salad!

I am definitely partial to the location in Fort Worth. We go there regularly since I love the bolognese and the warm goat cheese app. I was in the area and wanted something familiar so we tried this location. It was not crowded at all and we bellied up to the bar so we could watch the Mavs play while we noshed. Sadly they don’t have a lot of the same menu items and they didn’t offer any pasta dishes. We shared the burrata and 2 pizzas. The burrata was very creamy and rich. The balsamic reduction on it was a bit too sweet for my liking and I would ask for that on the side in the future. The pizzas were delicious and we ended up taking about ½ of them to go. The bartenders were very friendly and chatted us up for a while. The service was good. I tried one of the special house cocktails made with kombucha and strawberries that went down way too easy. If you’re looking for quality wood fired pizza and good craft cocktails, give this place a try.

We decided to go here last minute the night before Valentine’s Day. When we pulled up the parking lot was packed and we ended up having to park quite a ways away in a bank parking lot. The walk up was really neat. The are it is located has 3 other restaurants around it and they have a cute courtyard for waiting. We were expecting it to be super busy but when we walked in we got seated right away. We sat out on the porch which was really cozy. The waitress greeted us right away and was very nice. They have amazing sangria and a great draft beer along with other yummy cocktails like the Moscow mule. We ordered a Cesar salad and the light and crispy pizza. The pizza was delicious. It had fresh tomatoes, basil? Sauce and mozzarella cheese. The pizza is thin so you have to fold it to eat it but the crust is amazing!!! Super crunchy and flaky. I will definitely come back here!

What I got here is what you should get! I had a triple roni pizza to go because I was out all morning and wanted to just go home. The bartenders were very sweet. They were entertaining me while I wait for my pizza because they just opened and had to heat up their oven to the right temperature for the right texture. I didn’t mind the wait. I’ve had their knox location before and thought it was awesome. I don’t live close to Dallas so this is just as good! The bar is good for watching games during the day or at night. They offer gluten free pizzas and there are other varieties. Pizza is pricy but you’ll be getting a higher end pizza so it’s worth it! What I had was a triple roni, triple the pepperoni, basil, and truffle oil!!! eat them when they’re fresh out of the oven and the cheese is stretchy gooey goodness!!! making myself drool right now!
