Everything is Yummy! We go for breakfast and love the fresh OJ with our amazing food. At lunchtime I’m in love with grabbing a fish taco, steamed veggies and a cup of tortilla soup. My own combo of yummy goodness. I always ask for my own salsa… it’s to good to share.

Wonderful place to go for breakfast. I’ve tried most all of the selections and all are good. They feature many Mexican style recipes but also offer standard faire. Very nice staff and the owner is great!

Whoa! Some of the best carna asada steak I’ve ever tasted. Unbelievably juicy, flavorful, tender pieces. Pair that with the generous portion of cilantro and the red onion? Damn. Good. The restaurant is on the smaller side — inside, that is. But, I love the bright, bold colored walls. They’re not overly adorned with trinkets or memorabilia. Since I was solo, they were able to get me seated much quicker than the 20 – 25 minute wait I was told. My waitress(college age?) was fantastic. She suggested the steak over the chicken — great call! I would definitely return here. The small town feel of Granville has always appealed to me!

My husband and I decided to try Day y Noche on a whim, which isn’t my forte! Plus… I’ve never been a fan of Mexican food. I can tell you this place was wonderful and the food was nothing short of fantastic! I had the omelet camarones(shrimp) and it was the best omelet I’ve had… EVER! The flavors were incredibly fresh. The tomato cream sauce on top was not heavy and overpowering. The eggs were cooked to perfection and I couldn’t believe the subtle flavors or cilantro and red onion. The omelet had feta, tomatoes, avocado and nicely cooked shrimp. I was very impressed. Of course I had the bacon and potatoes with it which had a wonderful mix of onions and peppers. The coffee was hot and strong. Loved it! Considering I’m not a fan of Mexican food(I usually think it’s too heavy and covered in some sort of mystery cheese) this was a wonderful meal I’ll gladly repeat. The service was excellent and the meal was timely. The prices were incredibly reasonable as well. My husband had an enchilada, I had the omelet, 2 drinks and as much chips and fresh salsa as you’d like and everything came out to maybe $ 25. Tip well! It’s worth it!

excellent, family-oriented service in a unique and welcoming atmosphere; this is without question the best breakfast option in Granville. the staff is very accommodating, and the owner will often stop by tables to say hello and make sure everything is as good as can be.

I got a Build Your Own Omelette with bacon, chorizo, peppers, cheddar mix and breakfast potatoes. It doesn’t come with bread but doesn’t need any. The salsa is made in-house and delicious! Awesome flavor, both the medium and the mild. I asked for ketchup, which the waitress brought, but recommended the salsa. I didn’t touch the ketchup. The salsa got used on everything. Highly recommended! Wish we lived closer to come more regularly.

This place is amazing! I haven’t written a review for a while but the attention to detail in this place really impressed me. The food, service and even things like having real kid forks for the little ones. Not surprisingly, the owner is here working hard on every finished product. Come eat some big chunks of tomato in your salsa. You’ll love it!

Tuna Tartar was excellent. Split that and an order of the lunch fajitas. Enjoyed our experience and the margaritas were good too. Recommend it if you find yourself near Denison university.

It is such a shame that this place is not better! In general the food is very bland. The rice had no flavor. The same thing goes for the refried beans. There was NO flavor. I stopped eating my dish because of this. Additionally, the food is very expensive for what you get.

Overpriced«Mexican» food. It’s okay for a day out but I wouldn’t come here for authenticity.

Stopped for breakfast on our way from Columbus to NJ. Amazing breakfast, fresh ingredients and perfectly mixed flavors. I had the Camerones omelet and my husband had the chorizo hash with poached eggs, both were perfect.

Great food, excellent setting, and super friendly staff. I love the mix of standard and eclectic food pairings! Day y Noche is a welcomed edition to this village. I also witnessed a heartwarming moment — the team welcomed a man who might be down on his luck like any other patron. The local police came by to question him — I asked the manager if he was having trouble with his bill and that I would pay it… she said no… we are taking care of his tab :-) she also told the police«he’s not bothering anyone, and he’s not bothering us… let him enjoy his meal.» Wow, as a Black man in America, to see a fellow Black man be welcomed to enjoy a meal and his cigarette, despite his current and ‘apparent’ station in life, meant so much to me! Even more wonderful, to see this happen in my idyllic former college town was just sweet. I intentionally sat by the front window to monitor the police situation. Hats off to the Granville police officer who did his job, AND let a man keep his dignity. This was a great day to be an American and see all of this goodwill take place in my home state. My wife and I also had a lovely conversation with a Columbus, Ohio police officer last night at the supermarket. Both of these encounters I’m writing about were with white cops — there’s still hope folks.

My sister-in-law tried this place for the first time today and I loved it. We went for lunch and we both enjoyed our meals very much. The place is cute and while it isn’t huge, it has ample seating and a large amount of outdoor seating as well. The chips and salsa we were served were very fresh and delicious. The salsa wasn’t overly spicy but has lots of bright red fresh tasting tomatoes. I had the taco salad with shredded chicken and it was awesome. I subbed black beans for refried beans to make it a bit healthier. I would eat it over and over again. It was served in a fresh tortilla bowl. Sister-in-law had the lunch sized portion of fajitas which was a great deal at $ 8.99. She said it was very good and she loved the soft tortillas. I certainly plan to return here again in the future.

I love the shrimp, fish and tuna tartare tacos at lunch and dinner, the cucumber margarita is awesome too. Nice selection of Mexican beers and sodas made with real sugar. Tortilla chips freshly made there, ditto the salsa. My FAVORITE, though, is breakfast. We go at least once a week for the camarones omelet, the avocado-ham omelet or one of the mexican breakfasts. Don’t miss the potatoes and the cinnamon raisin pancakes are awesome too. OJ is fresh squeezed, a true bargain for the price. Best breakfast in town, easily.

One of Ohio’s finest examples of really awful Mexican food… Adjectives such as tasteless, rubbery, doughy, skimpy, soggy, overpriced, and meatless will pepper the conversation with your dining companions… alas it stays in business… i can only wonder… how is this possible? Yesterday was my third and final attempt to give this restaurant a try…

My husband and I were out for a drive and ended up in Granville. We stopped at Day & Noche for dinner. So glad we did! The smell hits you as soon as you walk in. Spicy goodness. We were seated right away and drink orders were immediate. Libby was our waitress. She was awesome. We never wanted for anything and she checked on us constantly. We ordered the chicken nachos and they were served on a small pizza pan. It was plated beautifully and so tasty. Definitely coming back so we can try the fajitas! If your looking for a great restaurant with ambiance and friendliness to spare this is the place to be.

Get all notions of traditional Mexican food out of your head. This place serves white flour tortillas on their fish tacos, it’s a white bread scene for an uncultured Ohio crowd. with that said… The corn tortilla soup was tasty although I wish that the chicken had been less dry and the corn had been fresh-cut being in Ohio I would expect the chicken and the corn to be top notch. The shrimp tacos were ok although nontraditional but I didn’t expect tradition I just expected good flavors and that’s what I got. A little pricey. Wish the soup had been bigger or $ 1 less. also I just don’t feel right about paying more than $ 10 for shrimp or fish tacos… But for my first time in Grandville I say it was a win! Addendum: they should make their breakfast menu available all day. Who doesn’t want a Mexican breakfast for dinner? I called at 11:30 only to find out that they stop serving breakfast at 11AM. Very disappointed. Especially since the breakfast/brunch scene in Granville leaves so much to be desired. Can’t a girl eat eggs all day long?
