Bernardo’s Pizza Delivery and Take-Out

We were up in Wells, VT for the long weekend and during the snowstorm, we ordered for take-​out from Bernado’s.
We ordered two specialty pizzas — the Chicken Parm and the Whitey. I thought the Whitey Pizza (mozz, ricotta and broccoli) was delicious. The pizza is a little doughy, but I found that I didn’t mind that very much. It stood up to the weight of the toppings and had good flavor.
Sadly, we had to reheat the pizza given the amount of time it takes to drive from Granville, NY to Wells, VT in a snowstorm. I think, had it been hot out of the oven, we would have enjoyed it even more!

I dont live in NY/​VT however when we do go to the summer home we ALWAYS go here. I have never had their pizza just their dishes.
First Dish– Chix Cordon Blu Sandwich with Garlic mayo — TO DIE FOR. Their fries are like cotten candy
Second Dish– Honey BBQ Grilled Chix, also very good. Chix was juicy and tender, pasta salad was just OK but fries again were a hit.
I had a bite of my daughters «childrens» pasta, its not childrens, its a lb of pasta with homemade sauce. WIll def get this as my meal next time.

Frozen appetizers, basic iceberg salads with bottled dressing, average pizza… Edible but nothing you can’t experience at Pizza Hut. Too pricey. Bar has house quality spirits and wines that are overpriced.

One of the best bars in Granville, with the combination of selection and atmosphere. All kinds of different drinks plus a nice barroom. They have a patio outside when it’s nice enough. The owner used to own several minor league baseball franchises and he opened a good sports bar.
Having said that, the barroom is separate from the restaurant and it’s a nice place to eat too. The food is passable but not great, and the prices aren’t dirt cheap but are very reasonable.
The atmosphere is nice and the service is pretty good.
The other thing that Bernardo’s offers is pizza, which is available for pickup and delivery. The delivery was iffy with their time in the past, but now that the Tom Tom is readily available they’ve gotten a lot better (disclaimer: I live in the sticks and no one can find my house anyway). Plus, the pizza delivery girls are all smoking hot. Shout out to Chelsie, the best pizza delivery gal in the whole world!!!
