I finally got to eat here, after hearing nothing but good things I had to try. I had a crispy chicken sandwich, and I liked the style of breading they had for the chicken, tasted great and not like most breaded chicken. The bacon on it, had just enough crisp and the grease wasn’t too bad either. The fries I got were nothing special. We did have the beer batter fries which was not my favorite either, still had a decent taste but I have had better. I had a taste of my wife’s burger, the taste was alright, it was a little pink inside, so make sure you get well done. But the desert was great! I had a Reese Peanut Butter Cup pie, and it was to die for. I must say AJ’s was a great place to check out, and has a decent price too.

Fries are pretty plain and boring, burger had decent flavor but not big enough for roll. Onion rings are good. Chicken sandwich was blah. Decent prices. Staff was nice

My husband and I go there quite a lot. Their steaks(both King & queen are so tender they melt in your mouth. The salad bar used to have a lot more but it is still great. The service is friendly & the atmosphere is homey.

Everything is cooked from frozen bulk. Worse than diner home cooked food, don’t let the«cheap» prices fool you. You’d be better off with making your own food with taste and price

i would not go here again… the salad bar is gross… i got the chicken parm and the sauce tasted WORSE then from a can. I’ve tasted better canned sauce is what I mean. We waited forever until a server even asked us what we want for drinks then barely came back to refill. Terrible food… terrible service.

Great home cooking, at a great price. They also have a full bar separate from the restaurant, which has a great beer selection to offer. Also, they have some of the best Buffalo wings around.

A. J’s is a family style restaurant with pretty low prices for what it serves. They blow through help there like no tomorrow but the service is usually pretty good. The food is not great(plus they have trouble keeping a chef which doesn’t help matters) but it’s more than passable and they’ll fix you a decent steak anyway you want it. It has a full bar(it even has Beck’s, my drink of choice) and a separate barroom if you want to go to drink. There’s a lot of local color but it’s acceptable for anyone. Not a terrific place to go, but you can’t do any better for a place to have dinner in Granville.
