Shishkin, DDS

Dr. Shishkin was our family Dentist for years when living in Southern Oregon. His staff is super friendly and welcoming. Dr Shishkin truly cares about the comfort and care for his patients. My kids never complained about going to see the dentist while under his care. I Wish we could find a dentist as caring and compassionate as he is in the Portland area. Highly recommend him to anyone living in Grants Pass or Medford.

This review is becaus emy wife had a bad experience at Shishkin, DDS in Grants Pass. So she has an appt for 830 am and ends up sitting there for an hour before she gets taken in. And this is to look at a chiped tooth. They tell her they have to pull the tooth and another one need to have a root canal. all that for a chiped tooth. so she gets her tooth pulled, but in the process of doing so, they break it into little pieces. She started to choke one a piece and the dentist said to hold still dont bite my hand. after leaving thay tell he nothing about how to take care of the missing tooth location. she was prescribed some meds that was never called in for hours. she tried calling them for an hour and nobody likes to answer the phones. I had to drive down there while im at work to tell them to call it in. as i walk in, the receptionist Rose Wheeler just looks at me, felt like i was a kid during a staring constest. Poor people skills! so i wait there to be talked to and finally get my chance to talk. My opinion, CLOSE DOWN!!! your going to be sued by the wrong person some day. This WILL be shared on facebook!

Very rude, even yelled at his nurse in front of me. Never go there. I went to him years back as well, when he was in a different office and he took the x rays and then wanted mucho bucks and said he did not do the work that OHP paid for and I had to pay for a different kind of crown. Well if he did not do the work with OHP, then why did he take OHP?

Very rude every single time I’ve been in. When I had insurance I went to him for a couple years. I tried having my dentist switched but he was the only one that was available, I took my oldest son there once and he was very rude with him. I had a cavity filled there once and he said it wasn’t that far down so he wasn’t going to numb it to drill. and then just started drilling. I stopped him right there, It was extremely painful. I made him numb it before he went any further. I can’t believe a Dentist would suggest not numbing something that’s going to be drilled into. I don’t recommend this dentist to anyone. Bright now or siskiyou are great places to go. Stay away from Shishkin.
