The Rogue River Visitors Center is a small cabin-like building at the I-5&99 exchange on the Rogue River hwy(99) road frontage. Plenty of parking and loaded with information about the greater area, sights, attractions and venues. This facility also sits in front of a very nice memorial park, with maintained grounds, picnic tables and grills, with water front access to the river, a boat ramp and hike and bike trails. We were able to find out all kinds of information about the local area from the person inside, as well as pick up brochures and pamphlets about some of the more popular attractions in the area. This is a nice community service that lets visitors gather information about the area in one convenient location. Worth a stop if you are not familiar with the surrounding areas, and there are lots of great things to do and see all around. 272
