I enjoy Aldi’s, even before it moved from the center of GC to the outskirts. The location is much bigger, easier to get up and down the aisles, and some the the off-brand food items they sell tastes just as good as the name brand. Two thumbs up for Aldi’s all the way.

This is store is only about a year old. The aisles were nice and wide and VERY clean. I found items in this store that I have not seen in our Aldi’s store. I buy my fresh fruits and vegetables from here. I am always amazed at how much I can buy and how little I spend.

Aldi’s has changed since the last time I strolled up and down its aisles. Every week when their sales flier arrived in the mail, I’d flip through it and toss it in the trash. Then I discovered that Aldi and Trader Joe’s are owned by the same trust and each is ran by one of two brothers. So I figured, if I liked Trader Joe’s, I’d most likely like Aldi’s. So I slowly have been stopping in this Aldi on my way home from work. Just like Trader Joe, you’ll see unfamiliar brand names, on familiar products. So far I’ve been lucky, the items I’ve bought have of the same quality as brands that I normally buy. I’ve experienced with cheese, nuts, chips and cereal thus far. I’ve also bought a couple gardening items that were a great quality for the price. Aldi is a store for the thrifty foodie, where Trader Joe is for the more frugal foodie. I’m going to expand my Aldi experience with some of the stores in Saint Louis.
