Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Shame on me for being too lazy to head down the street for Bliss and Vinegar’s salad. I paid for this with Zoup’s pre boxed salads and small size soups back at the office. I had a vague feeling walking into Zoup that there was a reason I hadn’t been back to them in eons. Next time I’m trusting my gut and heading somewhere local. Now, that’s not to say that the food was awful. In fact my Shanghai soup wasn’t too bad at all. But for $ 11 bucks for a small serving size, pre– boxed tuna salad and small soda, it just wasn’t worth it. I ended up at the candy machine about 2 hours later trying to fill up because I was still hungry. My advice– if you are looking for a soup and salad place near cascade/forest hills, head to Trails Head Café(near Bill and Pauls) or Bliss and Vinegar(near Marcos) Both are local, provide bountiful portions, with fresh healthy options.

This place needs a training program Come on, I shouldn’t have to repeat my order 6 times Then get the wrong thing anyway. Not to mention at 1145am(just 45 min into your day) you are out of soup It’s your name for god sakes

Solid selection of soup to satisfying the most selective of customers. Really, its good. Even on a hot summer day. They also let you sample before you order, free food!

We tried 6 different soups and they were all pretty bad. Salads weren’t very good either. Disappointing considering the high reviews

This place is the soup place. They have different daily soups, salads, and sandwiches… but they are known for the soup menu. The chicken pot pie soup is great on a cold day! They also have coke sodas so if you are a diet coke fiend like me you’ll be happy here! They also have pick up orders. You can call ahead OR order online. The location is also right off the 96 so very convenient place also close to work for me too!

I love this place! 50 Shades of Green list! Soup(or Zoup!) and Salad combos are great. They usuallyhave about 12 different soup options, and a standard 8 – 10 salad options. Quick, healthy, and delicious! Plus if it’s cold or rainy, you’d better get here early! Yes it’s a chain… but it’s a great idea, and well executed. 5 Stars… because it’s quick, easy, and it’s hard to mess up your order which means perfect service.

Zoup is pretty cool because they offer such a variety! Twelve soups daily, from vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, even seafood soups. They have a «Pick Two» option, which is 7.99. And you can get free samples. I got the Lemon Caper Tuna Salad, which was nothing too special. Normal Iceberg letture, with a dollop of tuna. Vegetable Bounty soup had a hint of sweetness, I think cinnamon? I enjoyed the soup very much. Bread roll was too dry, not much substance. Eric got a MTB(mozzarella tomato basil). Sandwich bread was a little better, generous helping of mozzarella and basil. He enjoyed his Chicken Pot Pie soup, said it was comparable to Panera Bread. Bottom line: Similar to Panera, bread not as good, but a bit healthier. About the same price. Mind over matter, food over mind.

Great variety of soups, can’t imagine someone coming here and not finding at least one that they’d like. The sandwiches are not bad, pretty similar to a Panera Bread type sandwich. The staff here is extremely friendly, the guy working the soup area practically begs to you to try samples of the soups… he definitely enjoys his job and it shows. I ate here for lunch twice during a 3 day stay in Grand Rapids because it was close to the event I was attending. I would definitely go back for lunch again if I am in the area.

Couldn’t execute a better soup & sandwich shop. Staff was very friendly(encouraged me to sample a few soups before ordering). I waited 2 minutes maybe… Super delicious and free wi– fi! Throw in an espresso offering and I’ll never have to leave.
