Waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered Moscow mule, it was good. Got a chicken wrap and it was also good. The fries were better than standard pub fries.

The first time i went there for breakfast and i got this amazing burrito, it was huge and delicious. And the service was great. I went there again and i got the chicken fajitas. I didnt know it was like a create your own fajita. It came with only a little bit of chicken and bunch of extras like grilled veggies, beans, rice, lettuce etc… I didn’t think it was worth 14 bucks at all so i just don’t recommend getting the fajitas.

Not even whelmed. Extremely underwhelmed. To call yourself a «bar», you should probably have a bourbon better than Jim Beam available. My dos Equis bartered fish was pretty good, but the jalapeño slaw and the fries were pretty gross. My wife ordered the«special» pulled pork tacos and they were dry and flavorless. We had heard good things about the place, but with the quality around here we will certainly never come back. Even after our food wasn’t eaten and we told the manager of the issues, they had no solutions to our problems.

This was one of my favorite places to meet and eat when I’m in Grand Rapids. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and the unique breakfast and lunch options are delicious. Then today happened. A very strange and rude waitress Haitti insulted myself and others and never apologized. We reported her bad behavior to two managers who were speechless. I’m still very upset about her actions and am stunned in her bad behavior.

Sundance Grill is one of my favorite places to grab a beer or a mixed drink, and a great place to get together with friends! Their breakfast is one of the best in town, and the manager, Nicole, is very dedicated, checking in with guests and seeing to it that their dining experience is pleasant and delicious!

Came here with some girlfriends and was pleasantly surprised with how amazing everything was! Each dish we ordered was perfect, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was friendly. Would definitely come here again — and just might tomorrow!

Finding good southwest food in Michigan has been hit or miss, especially for brunch. Sundance has not only the best southwest style brunch, but basically the best brunch in town. My husband and I are from Arizona and Texas, respectively, and this is our second visit here. Both times have been wonderful. I especially loved the Aztec Coffee. Get it hot, though. My only complaint is that there weren’t any jalapeños in the pico, but that could have just been my luck. Our server, Melanie, was super sweet and did a great job. I can see this becoming a favorite of ours.

Sundance was a great find when visiting GR. We were looking for a solid brunch on a Sunday and they delivered. The menu is very well rounded. Skillets, hash, scrambles, omelettes and my pick for the morning was skirt steak & biscuits in a brown jalapeño gravy with fried potatoes. Paired with their pomegranate mimosa. Absolutely perfect! Great upbeat vibe and solid food. Only issue was slower service but they were pretty busy. We waited longer than usual for coffee and water refills but honestly it didn’t take away from our visit. We will be back.

Monday at lunch we waited 12 minutes to be sat when there were many empty tables that just needed to be cleared. Out server, Cameron? Took our order, 30min later did a table touch reassuring us our food would be right out, and at the 40min mark(on top of the 12min at the door) he came back and told us that he had forgotten to put our food in, and that he had also forgotten what we had ordered. I was entertaining a client, for MLive no less! No manager in sight and no offer to remedy the situation. We left and went somewhere else.

Out without the kids for the morning. Found this and what a delight. The Bacomole omelet and Maryland crab skillet were delicious. Yum! Definitely worth dropping by again to Sundance!

In from Detroit and stopped into this gem. There was a 25 min wait but the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was delightful. I ordered the Taos skillet and added black beans. It came with a side of wheat toast and homemade strawberry jelly. It was so delicious, the jalapeños were spicy which gave it just enough kick. So yummy! My fiends ordered the Albuquerque omelette and they enjoyed it and would definitely order it again. They’re also famous for their signature«eye openers» the B.L.T Bloody Mary’s, pomegranate mimosa and other favorites.

We came for breakfast on a Saturday around 11. There swas a little wait(maybe 15 minutes). The food was excellent! We started with a cinnamon roll that was huge and oh my goodness soooo good! After that I had a scramble and my husband had an omelet. The service we had was excellent as well. I would definitely return!

I visited during Artprize and despite large crowds they served good food in a timely fashion at reasonable prices.

Brunch menu looked a lot more exciting than the food was. Nothing terribly wrong with the food, just bland. Needed sauces, extra ingredients, or something else… Very little lighting & all blinds were closed, making it a rather gloomy atmosphere inside. Service was good & coffee carafe on the table was a plus. Prices were a bit high, but within reason.

Just ok. I had the chicken tacos with rice and beans. All was bland. The blt bloody Mary was pretty interesting and good though. Bar staff get zero points for friendliness and being proactive.

This has to be one of my favorite breakfast places I’ve ever been to. When we first did a search of breakfast places and this name came up I thought that was crazy. Wants breakfast at a bar!!! It really was one of my favorite breakfast I’ve ever had. There were so many good choices but this time I had the Popeye scramble. And their homemade potatoes are really good. Actually they are exceptional! The service was great the atmosphere was great and I really enjoyed everything about it. Next time I go to Grand Rapids I am definitely going to make a point of having breakfast there again!

I can’t comment on the food because we never received it. According to the waitress and manager we were only waiting 27 mins, but that was based on when the waitress put the order in not how long we were waiting. We waited 35 mins to get seated which is fine and 45 mins later we still didn’t have food. The manager was condescending and although she offered to cover the cost of our drinks it wasn’t based on any type of apology. I have more than enough money to pay for drinks and food, all I wanted was an ounce of sincerity when the manager and server dealt with a slow kitchen. The main takeaway is that Sundance is always right and the customer is always wrong. So 7 adults and 3 kids no food terrible service. It was awesome walking away while my daughter was crying for not getting her Mickey Mouse Pancakes.

Arrived to eat around 8 pm on a Friday evening and the place was dead. Our server was very professional and courteous. We ordered the spinach quesadillas and the steak fajita salad. Food was served promptly and was very good. Only thing I would change is adding a few more chips and a little more cheese to the salad. The portions were more than enough and the salad was more than I was expecting. I think this place is much busier for breakfast and lunch, but if you’re looking for a quick bite in the downtown in the evening I would recommend Sundance.

A pretty decent brunch spot with some interesting dishes to try. We started with their signature brunch drinks… a pomegranate mimosa for her and the BLT Bloody Mary for me. Mine looked more like a salad with a big beautiful leaf of romaine jutting out the top and a nice ripe tomato slice and piece of crispy bacon in it, served alongside some sourdough toast and a little cup of mayo… giving the full BLT effect. The pomegranate mimosa was a little more to my liking but BLTBM if you really love Bloody Marys. For the dish I had the crab eggs bennie which was lump crab from what I could tell but there was just a little shell left in it which made it a little unpleasant. My girl had a skillet and really liked the cook on the eggs and the pillowy home fries they serve with it. Their jelly might be homemade too… it was thinner and better than a typical Smuckers strawberry. I think this place might be a chain since we passed another on the way back to Detroit but they do a really nice job all the same. The bar area itself looked nice and service was solid while prices are mostly reasonable — 3.5 stars.

I had a business breakfast here and was pleased with the food and service. Located in the downtown section of Grand Rapids, Sundance Grill is a neat little place with ample seating. Service was good. Waitress was attentive and respectful of the fact that it was a working meal. I had the breakfast quesadilla and it came with a very fresh side of salsa. Cooked perfectly! My business companion had the Albuquerque omelet with a side of potatoes and it looked like it was cooked perfectly. No complaints from either of us.

We were excited to try this place for brunch but were sorely disappointed. First impression at the bar was at least favorable — while we waited for our table we ordered mimosas — the pomegranate mimosa is really good and comes with a small side of pancakes — score! Sadly that was the peak of our experience. Service was slow, food took forever to come, everything was served cold to lukewarm. Cheese wasn’t even melted on any of our dishes(there were four of us). Maybe we just came on a bad day…

First off, I really liked the atmosphere inside the place. They have a cool looking bar and lots of non-bar-top seating in the bar area. For Sunday Brunch it was busy and service was a little slow as a result. The breakfast food was good, but not top 10% or anything like that. I liked the concept of the BLT Bloody Mary, which you essentially disassemble to make a decent BLT as you drink, and it came with a sidecar of beer. As with many downtown GR restaurants, the food is decent, but the pricing seems a little high. I always expect a little something more than just location for the price.

Simply amazing! Food was divine, completely hit the spot. We decided to take a drive and with it being 4th of July Grand Rapids was dead. We found the Sundance, it was open and they had outdoor seating so we decided to grab a bite. The waitress was great and the food amazing. We will be going back next time we are in GR.
