Memory Lane Classics

Grand Rapids has a quaint downtown with a number of cute antique and gift shops, but take a quick hop off of the town’s main street to visit this bike shop. We never would have found this if it hadn’t been suggested to us by the B&B owner where we stayed in town as it’s a block or so off of the main drag and at one end of town. The attraction here is a ton of memorabilia that includes vintage bicycles and toys. There is a display at the front end of the building, but make sure you walk back into the shop at the back of the building to see lots more vintage bikes, bike parts and just plain cool stuff on display… and for sale. We were obviously there just to look around, but the staff was very friendly, urged us to look around to our heart’s content and told us about upcoming bike swap meets, antique sales, etc. scheduled throughout summer in town.
