I hesitate to sing the well-​deserved praises of this organization because I am sure that as soon as the rest of the world discovers this inexpensive and well-​planned opportunity, it will become very difficult to book a trip! However, Jeff and Rita deserve the success because they are the most accommodating, organized and pleasant folks you will ever meet. I highly recommend this kayak experience to all those who love nature and the great beauty afforded by the Grand River. Blue Herons, splashing fish, turtles galore, and few or no other human beings were what we saw on our relaxed 8 mile float down the river. Thank you Rita and Jeff for a wonderful day.

If you want to see the beauty the Grand Rapids area has to offer then take one of Jeff’s fun canoeing or Kayaking trip. s The owner of the company, Jeff, really has a passion for doing these tours. He cares about his customers and whats them to have the best experience they can. Jeff was there to met us at various point of our trip and told us what to expect for the next couple of miles. At the end of the trip he had water and snacks ready for us. Everything that you need from water, life vests, and paddling tools are provided. This was by far the best thing we did in Grand Rapids. Would highly recommend.

Kayaking with GR Paddling was an excellent experience for my family and me. Jeff picked us up at our home and drove us to the starting point along the river. Of course, he then picked us up at the end point and drove us back home. But the real difference was the thoughtful, friendly service that Jeff provided (often with some good comedy to boot); we entered the van to see a message board welcoming all of us by name, Jeff offered complimentary drinks and snacks, and even snapped a number of photos of us from different stops along the river. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I would recommend GR Paddling highly.

My husband and I have had two wonderful experiences with GR paddling, one on Reeds lake and one down the Grand River. Jeff was very professional and kind and met us at the locations prior to, and after our trip, and provided us privacy while we rented the canoes. Prices were very reasonable and look forward to our next trip in the spring!

Great asset to Grand Rapids! Jeff was very pleasant, patient and assisted with great recommendations on where to kayak as a novice! He is very knowledgeable ! Good clean equipment. We will be back for the paddle and dine trip.
