Johnston & Murphy

Longtime J.A.M customer here. No customer service at this location. I left and came back, after telling the only employee, I was looking around but buying. I went and bought three pairs of shoes from Cole Haan instead. Hope J.A.M. can still keep my business in the future.

Hi manager at Johnston & Murphy, this is the pregnant woman that came into your store with her husband last Sunday. We came in a with a pair of sandals retail $ 150 (according to your tag) that the inside soles have disintegrated. We understand that these shoes are almost a year old, but even though this is Dallas, sandals are not worn all year long. Our understanding when buying these were that they were quality shoes that would last for a few years. I am sure that is what you would have said when selling the shoes to us right? Funny we come in and you tell us that because we got almost a year out of the shoes, nothing could be done but a «Wear Credit». So you are basically saying your shoes do not hold up a year? I guess my Louis Vuitton purse is over a year old and I should be luck it is in tact huh?
You also told us that if we sent these in to corporate, we would not get a response, so corporate does not respond to their customers?
You did make sure to THREATEN to call security on us if we wanted to show customers in the store these shows for their opinion. Are you going to call security on me for posting this review and I will be posting pictures… are you telling me I have no freedom of speech in this country?
My $ 1 Old Navy Flip flops have held up better than these shoes did and I wear them everyday inside the house and often outside the house. Johnston & Murphy is nothing but another company selling low quality made in China junk at high prices. AVOID!
