Just found Tangle for the first time and I am in love! I was visiting Grand Junction and popped into Tangle and Carrie made me feel like she had been my friend forever, introducing me to other knitters, Liz and Kathy, and gladly giving of her time to help me, a novice knitter! Carrie is so knowledgeable and helped me pick out the perfect yarn for a hat I wanted to knit and yarn for a shawl! Carrie made sure I was casting on correctly and that I was using the correct needle for my project. I spent the rest of the day telling my husband about Tangle and Carrie, and wished we lived closer! Tangle is knitting hat liners for helmets for our men and women in the military for free! If you would like to help them they will give you the pattern and 10% discount on the approved military yarn! Or if you know someone overseas that could use a hat liner call them, they will help your loved one! Just give them a call! If you happen to be in Grand Junction don’t miss out on this fabulous knitting shop and may you be blessed to meet Carrie!

I visit this store every time I come home to Grand Junction. Usually I’m disappointed in the amount of sock yarn available. This year I was impressed with the selection of sock yarns and particularly fell in live with the wool and silk blends. I will definitely come back with extra room in my suitcase.

Staff not very friendly. Went in with a friend who doesn’t knit-she was asked if she needed help. I wasn’t acknowledged until I got up to the counter. I would probably have spent more money had the staff chatted me up!

SO cute! Looking around this lovely, impecably decorated and organized yarn shop makes me want to buy everything! I’m originally from Chicago and recently moved to the area. This shop reminds me of some of the local, cozy neighborhood crafting stores back home. Every time I’m near main street I have to stop in and look around. They carry a plethora of yarn in any color imaginable. I prefer not to spend a fortune on yarn, but if I’m going to do it, this is the place. My favorite little feature is the table stocked with individual pattern cards. They are affordable, easy to follow and just plain cute. A must visit for any knitter/crafter.

Beautiful, warm, friendly, inspirational yarn store plus(some sewing stuff as well). Stopped in while on a job interview trip. Thinking about moving from Chicago, so I needed to see my options for yarn in GJT. Beautifully decorated. Well organized. Beautiful samples. Great selection of yarns – the kind where you just keep touching everything from one wall to another. Didn’t have enough luggage space to walk away with any yarn, but I did get a souvenir bag with their adorable logo. Noticed that they have classes and Monday night open knitting.

My obvious love of sewing and all things handmade, made this an automatic stop on our trip to Main Street in Grand Junction. This store is absolutely adorable and any knitter would be soooo happy to have found this place. A mixture of different yarns, some designer fabrics(aka Jay McCarroll and the like) and some handmade items… this little shop is just the kind of place a knitter would and should visit if in the area.

the cutest little store! I was in grand junction for a little over a month this past spring and found myself wandering in here many times! I WISH there was a place this cute where I live now! Everyone was super sweet and the selection was awesome!
