Quality Inn’s buffet restaurant is not worth effort to eat. It is limited in choices and overall quality is poor. Most things were warmed up out of a can, especially the soups. There is a small salad bar too, but it needs a major overhaul. The place was deserted when we arrived for supper at 5:30. Not a good sign!

Rose and I arrived at our hotel, The Quality Inn in Grand Junction about 4:00 p.m. We saw that Good Pastures was attached to the hotel, and was very convenient for dinner after a long drive. The price was moderate, about $ 10.99 each. It was an all-you-can-eat buffet, with a good selection of mostly American classics. The food quality was mediocre, and the atmosphere was contemporary hotel lobby. Still, the convenience factor made it a good choice. There was also a free breakfast buffet provided for hotel guests which included various hot and cold breakfast items. Breakfast was probably better than the dinner. «Rose’s Café» #rosescafe1

I went here at about 9:30 on a Thursday for breakfast, i figured there would be an okay breakfast at a buffet place. Wrong. It was just short of 18 dollars for the two of us, not terrible before you see the buffet. There was eggs, some poorly cooked frozen hash-browns, bacon-ish stuff(my wife wouldn’t eat it as there was no meat just fried fat). Also there were some rocks disguised as biscuits and smooth white gravy, quarter waffles, and a hot strawberry sauce. Also a OJ and apple juice from a juice dispenser and toast/cereal station. No wait staff were present and at the end a single busser wandered out to clear the 4 dirty tables. Serve yourself and pay. Essentially it is an edible hotel breakfast if it comes FREE with the room but if you are local spend your cash at a better place like starvin’ arvins and keep everyone happy.

Great free hot buffet at the quality inn in grand junction, co. Coffee is really good and it’s a great value(free.99). However, I probably wouldn’t pay for a meal here but now really would not after reading the review below!

Good Pastures fired all of their employees with no warning. These were older women who had worked here waiting tables for years, and actually made the restaurant successful — or as successful as a diner in the lobby of a hotel can be. Read my previous review. The back-bone of this restaurants’ customer base were long-time older locals from GJ, who had grown used to the personalities of these ladies, some of them having worked here for 13+ years. The new owner deceived the employees that they would retain their jobs, meanwhile training a whole new staff he could pay at a lesser wage. He then methodically fired(not laid off) all the veteran waitstaff right before Thanksgiving. I hope that this incident is the first thing that pops up whenever someone Googles RAUL&CATHYWOLF. You are manipulative deceiving wretches, and you will never see another dollar of mine. Bye!
