Habitually cold tacos. Often you have to beg for refills or cold beers. Sadly, a great location with potential but lack of management or legitimately attentive employees. Did mention cold tacos?

The food was very good. The store is very close to my work. I love to walk to it when it’s warm. They have good tacos and adult drinks.

I love Fuzzy’s Taco Shops, and this location was very consistent with all other locations I have been too. I had 2 Tempura Shrimp, 1 Tempura Fish, and 1 Grilled Fish taco. Food was ready quickly, and was perfect. This particular location was easy to get to from my hotel, and was in a nice area /square in town. Plenty of parking too. I would definitely go back if I was in the area. FUZZY’s please come to Florida!!!

I’ve lived here for 3 years now and attempted to stay loyal because I love fuzzys, but this location is going down faster than our lake and that’s pretty fast!

The wait time to get into Babe’s Chicken across the street was waaaay too long, but I wasn’t sad because I had a feeling there would be more vegetarian choices for me at Fuzzy’s and I was right. I had the Grilled Veggie Burrito(shredded zucchini, squash, and carrots, shredded cheese, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, garlic sauce, and guacamole wrapped in a flour tortilla) and it was HUGE. I mean, this thing was a monster. The teeniest bit on the soggy side, but zucchini and squash turn soft so quickly, whatareyagonnado? This was NOT the *only* vegetarian-friendly dish here; there were many, many. All looked good, especially the Cilantro Lime Rice! The patio looked lovely, but it was just too hot outside that night. Gigantic schooners of beer, so that was fun. The rest of our group all had some version of chicken taco or beef burritos and all reported their meal being tasty, but a little short on the seasonings. A tad on the bland side. Otherwise, fine. And no wait.

Everytime I visit this place, I always ask why I came back? It has to be the patio. don’t let it entice you like it does me! This is the only reason they get a whopping one star. Food is mediocre. always lacking in filling amount and flavor(especially the seafood varieties). Their real downfall has to be the hiring manager. I can’t think of any place that has such lifeless, lazy, ‘I don’t want to be here’ employees. who hires these people? When you walk in, often no one is there to greet you. They shuffle(fully annoyed at your presence) from the back room with no smile or a «how are y’all today?» It’s basic«what do you want».no smile EVER. After that, every other staff member stands around talking, letting tables stay dirty or again, fully annoyed when you ask for a drink(bartender) or they need to sweep, etc. I could go on and on about the staff, but I’ll leave that for the next time their patio sucks me back in.

Even worse than ever. I only came back because I was meeting a great friend who suggested it. Ordered one grilled fish taco because I’ve had such back luck with what I get here. After I picked my sad little taco, I honestly thought for a few moments that there was no tortilla! I had to dig through the HUGE mound of shredded lettuce to finally find it. And, I never really found the fish… the largest piece I found was about the size of a dime. The best thing about it was that I only wasted $ 1.99 on that pseudo-taco. It’s hard to say one will never be back in a town with limited places to gather, but it will never be my choice!

We eat here on a very regular basis. The food is consistently good and the place is clean. They are a little stingy with their guacamole– they pack a lot of lettuce into the cup then put about a tablespoon of actual guacamole into it. They are also a bit stingy with their sauces. Good beer selection and food is good. Not fancy. Not incredible service but Mexican food in Granbury is scarce. I’ll take it.

Great shrimp tacos. Tasty queso! Great lunch spot on the weekend. You have your choice of inside or outside seating. Pay attention when you order, there’s a lot of information coming out of that lady. She’s great.

Fuzzy’s has great fajita tacos with a delicious garlic sauce. I would like to see the meat chopped a bit finer. Two or three larger chunks of meat makes the taco more difficult to eat. Their service is friendly and the atmosphere is fun. We crave Fuzzy’s tacos and go there regularly.

Tastes good, but I have not been satisfied once by the portions. I’ve ordered $ 6 dollar burritos with as much filling as the $ 2 tacos. And I’ve tried to have the«shrimp tacos» multiple times, only to have to settle for Lettuce Tacos w/a little bit of shrimp. I always get skimped on the hot sauce if I don’t check first. All and all, great taste, but absolutely terrible service.

Hey, finally… new owners! How did that take so long?! Food is better, service is better… even the ridiculous ice cream by the ounce thing is gone! Come back and try it again, we’ll definitely be back. Good luck to the new owners!

This business now has new owners and all new staff. It changed hands at the end of April. We went for tacos and beer after the wine walk, and the place was clean, beer cold, and tacos tasty. The orders were correct also, which seemed to be one of the problems with prior management. Looking forward to going more often again, love the patio!

Pass your way unless you’re craving for guacamole made of salad(so less avocado…)! Fish sandwich: I still wonder if I tasted the fish but good if you like bread! Cold«Latin fried potatoes»… What else? Oh yes! Fountain drinks taste really like the bad tap water :)

We moved from another City and we frequented our Fuzzy’s nearly once a week. For breakfast, lunch, dinner, Beers… Great service, food, etc. We stopped in to this one, waited nearly 10 minutes at the cash register, for someone to take our order. No one came — the place was nearly empty. I see by all the reviews, the service is sub par. We ate here about two weeks previous, and it was«ok» — food was slow, staff was messing around in the kitchen. Place was filthy. We thought it might have been an off day, apparently not. In closing during our time of waiting — NOONE came to take our order, in fact, I didn’t see any one that appeared to work there. Hope whoever owns this fuzzy reads these reviews — as there are many good places to eat in Granbury…

Food was pretty similar to all the other Fuzzy’s I have been too. Good vegetarian quesadillas and chips and queso. The service seemed confused however, they were unaware of promotions that had been offered by their higher ups, and the staff is extremely young and inexperienced.

I learned from a family member that the odd layout of this particular restaurant establishment is due to the fact that it used to be something else… now it’s a just-above-fast-food Mexican restaurant that seems to be run by nobody over the age of twenty-two. I didn’t have a problem with anything, per se, but I couldn’t help but fell like all the employees would rather be doing ANYTHING other than bringing me my taco combo plate. The food was tasty, the chips a bit bland… but the guac was impressive. Nice TVs in the dining area and a bar that I didn’t explore fully… off in a different room. And the counter where you order, in case you get lost easily, is tucked in the back of the place… and they serve ice cream… sometimes… apparently. What a weird little place.

As far as a Fuzzy’s experience, a little below average. I was tempted, for a few seconds, to add a s star for location… A few steps off the square, plenty of covered outdoor seating, TVs, a bar… But it’s really about the food, and that’s where this Fuzzy’s let us down. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s a great addition to the square, but I also know Fuzzy’s can do way better than this(see my review of the Fuzzy’s in Weatherford). So to start, I was happy to see Revolver on draft here. I also learned that this Fuzzy’s opens early(7AM) for breakfast, which is served all day. If you’ve been to any Fuzzy’s, you know the menu and you know the drill: Order, get number, listen for number, pickup food. Now that I have a new favorite cheep taco place(closer to home), I could not bring myself to order tacos, so I went with a burrito and a side of the habanero sauce. Thuy got a fish sandwich. Dad ordered a single shredded pork taco. For around $ 6 the burrito was decent. Definitely more food than three tacos, which is what that same six bucks would get you. The habanero sauce seemed watered down and did not pack the punch I was expecting. I augmented with the bottle of hot sauce on the table. Thuy’s fish sandwich was a total disappointment. In fact, at first, we did not even know it was a fish sandwich… Alaskan Cod is not an expensive fish, and as such you’d expect to see a bit more of it, but it actually took some digging to find the fish. Take a look at the pictures if you want to see the sandwich. Oh, and the sandwich was served with a side of «Latin Fried Potatoes», which was odd, but good for my dad… Since his one skimpy little taco(with a skimpy portion of pork) was nowhere near the food he was expecting. We warned him, but he didn’t listen. And that’s why he ended up eating most of Thuy’s potatoes. Lastly, unlike our last Fuzzy’s experience where we were checked on constantly, at this location we got one unenthusiastic«Is everything OK?» — And this was even before we discovered the«missing» fish. Bottom line: I do hope this franchise steps up it’s game. It’s a good location and would be a nice place to take a break from the square, but there’s got to be something more than an expensive taco to do it.
