The Perfect Cut

Encountered on this place years back to get trimmed and waxed… I didn’t realize they have a Unilocal to rate… I love this place. Sure it’s not a fancy place. But I would rather get trimmed at a place where the people are honest and that you can talk to than a dazzling high end place where the people are fake… You know what I mean? I am really happy with my results! The people working over there are so sweet and generous.

I come here all the time. I even bring my kids here. Today I have a very hurtful experience I don’t have a lot of hair (thinning hair) but for someone who works here and say awful hurtful thing about me not having a lot of hair hurts and she even wants to joke with me as if everything is alright. This person works here as a manicurist her name is Kim. She have no good customer service for saying that to me. Someday karma will get her. What comes around goes around. I have nothing against this place. My only problem is with that particular person who needs people skill.

Went in for a trim, and showed the lady a picture of what I wanted. Had to explain it a few times, which is fine. What wasn’t fine was the choppy, rushed, uneven job she did on my hair. She was snipping away like she was in a race or something. I was there for literally only 10 minutes. And when I asked her to go back and fix a couple spots, she seemed upset about it?
Yikes. Never going back.

This place is disgusting! They do not clean the beds they use for waxing ever as they simply change the paper lining only. I went there to get an eyebrow wax but I noticed that the table had hair (not sure what kind) all over it. When I mentioned it to the lady there she removed the hair with a tissue but did not clean the table. I then noticed how filthy the actual wax was and noticed that she was going to use the same dirty stick that was already used. WHen I told her that was not sanitary she said she’s never had a problem before. Mind you, they do bikini wax as well as facial wax!

Farrah is so sweet and she made me look fabulous! I got a cut and highlights. Price was very reasonable. Will definitely b coming back !

I have to say that this shop gives the best haircut ever!!! Especially Javon and Farrah. I have an inverted bob and it is a very difficult cut. However, they do an amazing job!!! I am always getting complements and asked where i get my cuts. Not to mention they only charge $ 15.00 for a cut! I always tip generously because they cut hair better than I’ve gotten in BH. Plus, after 7 cuts the 8^th is free.
Wish i could give them 10 stars!!!

These ladies are so great! Jiwon cuts my hair just like I like it and is such a sweet lady. I have had a really good pedi from Kim and my friend sees Farah for her color and is very happy. She has been going to The Perfect Cut for many years. The prices are very reasonable. And all the staff are friendly and personable. Nice casual atmosphere.

Back again for a speedy cut and great service again. I am very happy with this comfortable neighborhood salon with friendly efficient service. Great staff!!!

So disappointed. I had come here a few times to dye my roots and to do quick trims. I brought my friend in and we both wanted partial weaves with hi and lo lights. We were both very specific that we wanted it to look natural and that we wanted very thin strands if hair for the lo lights. At the end both of us had ghetto chunky strands of hair. The right hand side of my head looks completely different than the left. I really liked this place but instead of admitting they had NO idea what we were asking for they said «oh we’ve been doing this for years». Now I have a friend that is mad I took her here and we both have hair we hate. Not cool.
My hair went from light blonde to disgusting ash blonde. It’s so hideous I’m in tears. Have to wait until Wednesday to get it fixed. Also my friend and i had the same exact services and i was charged almost $ 20 what??? Don’t go here if you want salon services that are quality. I’m so angry.

I do not know what happened to the guy in the previous post who lives nearby. I have been going to this place/​salon for a few years and my wife for over 20 years! Take a guy who stops in for a once in a blue moon haircut with a grain of salt! He had a bad hair day!!! He shouldn’t slam a business for that and I will mention this business is attentive and I have go to one particular hairstylist and she is outstanding ! I have never been disappointed with any of her cuts/​styles. I never have heard one negative comment in the shop from any patrons and see the same repeat customers over and over. This is a class 1 salon/​haircutting business. They deserve 5 stars based on professionalism, cleanliness and prices. I never see an empty chair!

This hair salon is wonderful. I absolutly love it there. The attention is to detail.
They pamper me with coffee, tea and lots of love. They are very friendly. Also affordable and efficient in their work. The owner does my hair cut, color and blow dry (style) and I could it be any happier. After so long trying differents beauty parlors and finally I’ve found what I was looking for. I encourage you to give them time and get to know them. I promise you will be absolutly please.

I was recommended to this salon by a dear friend who has been coming here for a long time. I was very happy with the service and the general feel of all four hairdressers. I have found all of them to be friendly and do a consistently good job no matter which person cuts & colors my hair.
My daughter also comes here and has had several up-​dos. The hair styles & makeup are progressive and she has been pleased as well.
You certainly can’t beat the prices and convenience of this salon. A great find for this part of the Valley.

I stopped by to try this place out because it is down the street from me, but never again. I asked for a tapper fade and had it done in 10 minutes! There was no attention to detail, the cut was rough, and when I got home I discovered stray hairs all on the top of my head where the machine hadn’t cut (the blade must have obviously been dull).
If you’re a guy and are looking for a «Perfect Cut» go to Angelo’s on Nordhoff and Reseda in Northridge.

This place does great eyebrow work and the prices are more than affordable. The décor is a little dated but good for people who just want to get in, out and done. My only complaint is that there is always hairs and stickiness on the waxing chair. I wish they would clean it between clients because it looks quite unhygienic.
I would recommend most for their low prices and low-​key location.

I live within walking distance and have been going here for years. They do an outstanding job with cuts & colors. Don’t let the old décor fool you, these ladies can do really hip cuts too.

One of my family members gets her eyebrows waxed here. She always says it’s cheap, clean, they are friendly and going there is pleasant.
