Great food! I had the number 4 and it was amazing everything cooked perfectly and the tempura fries was amazing. The salad dressing was great too! Must eat there again

I can’t get enough of this place. The short ribs are amazing. Yet to find a place that’s better. Everything else in the menu is delicious as well. But you have to get the short rib.

Been coming here for years!!! The food is delicious!!! If you are in a hurry call n place the order before you get there because it is always super packed

I didn’t even want to come in. My mom had been trying to convince me to come try it but I’m not the biggest fan of teriyaki & im very picky with meat cuts. Today I finally gave in just to prove to my mom I wouldn’t like it & I was so wrong! Best teriyaki I’ve ever had! The tempura fries are delicious & the white sauce oh wow! The meat cuts are perfect & all food is made to order. The place looks a bit dingy which added to the not wanting to come in but do NOT judge this book by its cover!

This is one of my favorite teriyaki food spots in the valley. The best bbq short ribs (#8)! Their tempura vegetables and side salad are delicious. Not to mention their sauces, their teriyaki sauce and salad sauce are THE BEST. Never disappointed when I get food from here.
Tip: Seating is limited, call to order take out. Petit Park (might be known as Granada Hills park now) is down the street if you want to enjoy a little picnic.
Parking: lot available in front. Limited space. Street parking also available.
Ambiance: casual, «hole in the wall» but not really. It’s just a secret gem of the valley.
Seating: self-​seating. Limited.

I looooove this place. Call your order in ahead of time and they will always have it ready for you. The chicken is probably the best thing on the menu. But next time I go I need to try the miso soup because I’m sure it’s amazing!

Yummy!!! The teriyaki is delicious, tempura is fluffy and crispy. This location is a little joint with an awesome punch. Very old school way of doing things and why not if it works right? Delicious food, I would recommend to anyone.

A little hole in the wall place with great food. Whenever I am in the area this is the place I go to.

I live around the block from this place and we keep seeing it on Unilocal so we decided to try them today. The food was OK but the portions felt a little small for what we paid. Everything tasted good (nothing spectacular), the place is clean and the owners were polite but if i had to compare this place to some of the shops on the same block id say you are getting a better deal elsewhere.

Surprised as to how good the food here actually tasted. The environment is definitely terrible, you are eating in a rundown shack that has 2 tables inside, and the place has a lingering scent of overly used cooking oil; but their food is great for the prices they’re charging. I ordered the combination plate with a skewer of chicken, beef, and shrimp. Everything tasted good, and their potatoes tempura (fries) that accompanied it was probably some of the best I have ever had. Next time I will definitely do a to go order.

I’ve been coming here for years! Can’t even remember who showed me this place but glad someone did! I normally don’t like small family owned food locations. I just get nervous. But this place even tho it’s super tiny and the entrance door is like a regular house door, I LOVE IT. I usually get the chicken teriyaki but have tried the beef which also top notch! Just like everyone else I love the white sauce! Mmmm. The veggie tempura and white sauce is my fav part of my meal lol. The salad they include makes me feel so healthy after eating all that tempura! Good choice!!! The price is totally worth it! $ 8 for a chicken kabob plate… It’s enough for 1 REALLY hungry person or 2 meals like I like to do! This place is worth it!

Food is not bad but prices has gone up. Short rib used to be 9.99 but it is now 14 $. Such a huge jump in 2 years. Is there a shortage in ribs? I know it’s not the same, but a half rack of beef ribs with more meat is 15 $ at the Bear Pit. I should’ve gotten that instead.

Amazing meats! Their skewers are marinated tastefully.
The only downside is the wait. Just preorder!

Okay, so my sister-​in-​law used to live around here which meant we frequently picked up /​ordered to-​go from here.
They have pretty good teriyaki and the serving sizes are huge! Let’s just say, their kbbq, veggie tempura sides, and sauces were good enough that I ended up craving some one day therefore, providing me with the opportunity to come here and order to-​go.
As I was seated, waiting for my order there it was! A creepy-​crawling-​not-​so-​sure-​if-​it-​was-​a-​baby-​roach-​looking-​thing! Definitely not a cricket. This bothered me! I understand that it could’ve entered through the door or windows… but, it was there!
This joint holds a special place in my heart but I haven’t been back since…

I loved this, very good family owned place. I love that I can get white meat chicken and brown rice. Not crazy about the «bagged» lettuce taste of the salad, but I just did not eat it. My wife and I shared a 2 skewer plate and it was enough for both of us. I’ll be back.

Delicious!!! My fiancés and my first time here and we love it!!! I ordered the shrimp teriyaki plate and he ordered the combo which included the rice, salad, and shrimp, beef and chicken and we also had a side order of katsu fish and all of them are extremely delicious! I was also happy to see they also serve brown rice so we replaced our white rice with it. The prices are also reasonable and you get a great amount for what you pay for. Side orders of any of the meats/​seafood are less than $ 4 and the combos are less than $ 10 for the most part. Very impressed with the place. Customer service was great as well. The only thing that sucks is parking is in a tiny lot shared with another restaurant so it’s really hard to find when busy and the restaurant itself is also small but other than that, it’s definitely worth trying! Or take it to-​go like we did ! :)
