Fast and yummy… the red headed step child(owned by) PF Changs. The lettuce wraps are the same as PF’s without the hefty price. If they were closer to the house I would go more often.

Oh, Pick Up Stix. You are flanked by Chi’s and Golden Hunan, but you can’t compete with their quality(especially Chi’s). But you have one saving grace… something that makes me go to you even though«My mind is telling me noooo, but my tummy. My tummy is telling me yeaaaah. There’s nothing wrong with a little Pick Up Stix.» This is a good spot if you want Americanized Chinese food. And let’s face it, sometimes we all crave that. I like your greasy noodles and the overkill in sauce. I enjoy your family platters with a mix of proteins, noodles, rice, egg rolls and fried dumplins. I always loved the service here. Since I don’t go here too often, I always get a different cashier but they are all friendly. Ordering takeout is a breeze and the order is always accurate. Having tablets on the counter I think takes away from families spending time together.

Would go back, but hope they pick up their schtick! ;-) Pluses: Quick ordering /Plentiful menu choices /Generous Portions /Prepared hot & fresh /Steamed dumplings were delicious! Minuses: Dining room tables needed cleaning — had to ask for this to be done /Long hair left in the bathroom sink /Also found a hair on top of napkin dispenser on table /Flavor of won ton soup was odd(not related to the hair previously mentioned, LOL). DH ordered the dumplings, plus side of brown rice. I tried one of the dumplings and would have happily had half an order. They were prepared to the right state of doneness, and had a zippy little sauce on the side. Really tasty. My won ton soup, on the other hand, wasn’t the comfort dish I was seeking. There was a peculiar flavor in the broth. Not horrible, but just different. Not in a way that matches my taste buds. Tried again today as leftovers for lunch. Ate the veggies and chicken /left the broth. There were plentiful pieces of chicken, shrimp and broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, and water chestnuts. But not enough won tons. AG chose Pad Thai. Couldn’t come close to finishing — a plentiful serving. Took rest home. Suggestion to staff: Pay some attention to keeping the dining room and bathrooms clean, please.

Went into this place yesterday for the first time and was pleasantly & deliciously surprised. We ordered mongolian beef w/noodles, shrimp pad thai, egg rolls & wonton soup. Everything exceeded our expectations it was fresh and delicious with generous portion sizes. Not to mention the free cup for water while you wait. helpful staff and the touch screen pads that keep even the pickiest kid entertained. I went back today for more soup(Im sick) and ordered my son a kids meal… Again blown away. Great food generous portion and plenty left over. Definitely our new favorite Chinese take out. Now all we need a Santa Clarita location. There’s a ton of Panda Express out here and since we have stopped eating there for a variety of reasons a pick up stix would be GREAT.

Ok so I loveee Pick Up Stix but this one is DISGUSTING. I went there one night to get some food to go and as I waited, I noticed a ball of hair next to my foot. Yes a BALLOFHAIR and to top it off, right after I noticed the ball of hair, a cricket crawled by! Even worse, the food was not good at all; I ended up just throwing it away. Now, this is not to condemn all Pick Up Stix restaurants but, the one in Granada Hills is a no for me. The one in Porter Ranch however, is great.

I’m usually here about 3 times a month. Every time I’ve been here service is awesome. Ian who I believe is the manager, has helped us a few times and has been amazing each and every time. One time he even brought out a bowl of water for my dog as we waited in the outdoor seating area. I’ve ordered online and they are pretty quick too. My food was ready before the time scheduled. Food is comparable to all other locations but it’s their service that makes them stand out. They are always so friendly!

This particular location used to be an «express’ type place where they only did combo plates, and that was horrible. I’m so glad they went back to the PUS I know and love. My kids are pretty particular when it comes to Chinese Food, but they absolutely love the Honey Chicken entrée, and so do I. There is decent parking in the shopping center, so picking up is hassle-free. Food is always piping hot when I pick it up and still pretty darn hot after the close to 10 minute drive home. Workers there are always friendly, and happy to accommodate my requests for extra fortune cookies and bags of those addicting crunchy noodles. If you choose to dine in, there are tablets the kids can play on, off to the side of the dining area. My kids love to play on them while I’m asking for extra fortune cookies ;-)

I’ve always enjoyed Pick Up Stix. What I like most about it is its a cross between a sit down restaurant and a place like Panda Express where the food is sitting there under a heat lamp. This place is made to order Chinese/Thai food. Flavors are good and the service is fast and friendly. My favorites are the house chicken special, orange peel, and firecracker for entrees. Each come with your voice of white or brown rice. They have fried rice and/or chow mien for a $ 1.99 upgrade. I love the cream cheese wontons for appetizers as well. Their lettuce wraps are also flavorful and fresh. It’s a great location, too. It’s around the corner from a great shopping center with TJ Maxx, Home Goods, and Famous Footwear!

Staff are always friendly, and the place is generally clean. Three stars because it is not healthy Chinese. If you are craving salty food, this is your place. Four stars for the brown rice and salad choices. They try. House special beef/chicken is the bomb. Your blood pressure will reflect that choice. Treat yourself once in a while.

It was good, but I bought two beef boxes both half full. It was as if they cooked one box full but separated it into two, same as the rest of my meal. paid around 50 $ to get half of what I ordered.

When I walked in this place the cashier was friendly and welcome me to the restaurant. I ordered the Red Thai Chicken. It was very good. I like the fact that this dish was under 500 calories This location has card games and other games in a mini computer for the kids but it also has games for adult too They also have various TV ’ S which you can enjoy sporting events or the news overall good food and atmosphere

I liked this concept. there. There Chinese food is made to order, not sitting on a steam table, like it is done at panda express, or other Chinese fast food locations. The food was worth the wait. Hot and fresh and most of all made to order. The employees always nice and friendly. Great Job…

Stopped in this eve because Wabu was closed. I’m sure glad I did! I tried the Salmon with brown rice and steamed veggies. It was Sooooo Goood! Huge piece of salmon, cooked perfect, huge portion of brown rice with carrots, broccoli, red peppers and onion.(Had enough to save for lunch) The only thing I could say was, I wish the onion was grilled, my bad though, I didnt ask, but next time! It’s a lil pricey for this dish, 11 dollars and some change but worth it! Employees are always friendly. They offer 4 ipads to play games on while you wait too! Another five star rating visit from me!
We usually have great service and food at this location but we were very disappointed with food not properly prepared and cold. We called the shift manager and told her about our disappointment with food tonight An she asked us to go back so they could check food because cook wanted to see it. He flipped food over on a plate and showed us that he diid not follow food preparation standards for the company and put all meat in the bottom of rice and not mixed. The cook told my wife to quit complaining and leave. T he shift manager unfortunately does not have control of the Store and lets cook do what he wants to. The manager and cook did not want to re make food order. We will be calling corporate on this matter. I don’t think we will be returning to this location.
