Sorry gang but we went here based on the previous 5 reviews and were utterly disappointed. I use Unilocal for everything so seeing so many 5 stars makes me feel bad for this poor review. That said… Start with the good. Thick raisin toast and good cinnamon toast. That’s it! Now for the rest. It’s a tiny resteraunt where you walk in 2 steps from the door and you are within 3 feet of people eating. The staff will shout«how many?» and tell you it will be a minute as they wait for people to finish eating. You get to wait outside and when ready… They’ll knock on the window to get your attention. I watched the waitress«clean» the table which was basically a quick wipedown. We were seated close to the food prep area. A messy view for anyone that needs to see it. The waitress who was obviously working hard, had food all over her shirt and jeans. I have never in my life seen a waitress that dirty. Some sort of apron would certainly have helped the presentation. Disheveled and dirty is not what I want to see from waitstaff. It is a local establishment as many patrons were greeted by their first name, so maybe that is why our service was so poor. Took too long for them to ask if I wanted to order. «yes… Can we get coffee and tea first?» And when we asked for milk instead of the cream packets at the table, we received barely enough for the 2 cups. After my first cup of coffee was done, I had to flag down another waitress to ask for more coffee. On to the food — I ordered the«grafton special» — 2 underdone eggs over easy, 2 small sausages(certainly from the local supermarket frozen section) 3 slices bacon, 5 pieces of potatoe(have you ever really been able to count the feeble amount of homefries you’ve been served?) not quite done and the french toast(which as stated previously was the only good thing) My wife ordered the italian omelet — ok but maybe just a poor personal choice. We noticed a small cooler on the counter to store their ice. That just seems to be laziness. While there, the waitress was coughing(into her wrist and twice into her elbow) while taking orders. Not clean. We went out of our way to come here due to the many positive Unilocal– We won’t be back — i would encourage anyone that has expectations of cleanliness… To go elsewhere

Yum yum yum, Stephanie’s is delicious, unfortunately it is usually packed on the weekends but if you get there early the wait isn’t terrible. The ambience is great, it is truly a small town diner, with delicious food and great service.

So I went here about a month ago… Place is cash only. Just so you know. Like most breakfast diners. But anyways. Looking for a place for breakfast while the lady friend has a flight to catch in a few hours. This was our in a pinch spot. Well it’s not our in a pinch spot anymore. The service was pretty good.(It was raining and we were 2 a only a small group there. The breakfast meals we got were average-good. Just your regular bacon/eggs/toasts/sausage type deal… But what was above average was their Pancakes and French Toast… This was the stand alone diner. My other half got Coconut French toast which was scrumptious! But the real winner… Two words. Cinnabon Pancakes. Oh my gosh. They were out of this world. I mean really. I was impressed. Honestly. Would return just for those pancakes. It was an enjoyable time. Prices were also pretty good. So all around. I would return and recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast!

Just read the review from«Bob M». I cannot believe that he would complain about a place that prefers to treat their regular customers like family. I happen to be one of the regulars and have to say that I have not found another breakfast place nearby that I would even consider choosing over Stephanie’s. The food is always worth the wait, the customers are always friendly, the conversation enjoyable and being treated like family is greatly appreciated! John B.

This is now my favorite breakfast place! The food was really good and the prices were better than I though they’d be. The staff was also super nice :) we brought our infant daughter and although the booths are small me made it work. I breastfed her too and no one gave me any bad looks so that’s a plus for me I’ll definitely be coming again!

Pretty good breakfast spot. Pancake and French Toast varieties were yummy. Seasoning on home fries was perfection. Get em smothered!!! Very friendly staff. We will definitely be back. One note, cash only no cards or Apple pay

One of our favorite breakfast spots to go. Unfortunately other people are now discovering this place so get here a little earlier, there’s usually less of a wait going on. Cute place, comfortable ambience. Waitresses are always super personable, friendly and efficient. The food is fantastic! They have ample options for whatever you’re in the mood for and their iced coffee is definitely something you don’t wanna miss! I’ve tried quite a few options on the menu and they have always been delicious. Worth the trip!

Looks like we’ve found our new breakfast spot! Coffee selection is great, French Toast is legit, everything is fresh, and the staff and owner go out of the way for customers to feel welcome. Its not in my best interest to write a good review about this place because I hope it doesnt get so popular that there is a line out the door, but the food quality and staff deserve 5 stars!

I was extremely impressed with this diner! My hubby and I had a redeye into the Boston area and we were starving. We found the great reviews for this place on Unilocal and I didn’t need to think twice. We arrived around 645am and the place was already half full with locals. You could tell they come here often and were on first name basis with the owner and staff. It was extremely cozy — almost quaint. The food and prices were beyond excellent. The location was very nice. This will be my go-to breakfast diner when I move here in a few weeks! Comforting atmosphere!

We dropped in on 1⁄17 after our weekend Winter Hike. We had been here 44 weeks earlier, and it is rare that we repeat a restaurant, but we we willing to travel a significant distance to return here. The service was excellent — they were extremely busy, and the waitress appropriately warned us there would be a slight delay in preparing our meals — as before. The crunchy French Toast was great as was the pizza omelet, which was a special. We’re anxious to make a third visit!

So good!!! My boyfriend and I both got the Grafton Slam breakfast which was great! My favorite part was the pumpkin pancake! They were busy, but we only had to wait a few minutes. The staff was friendly and we got our yummy food quickly.

We were visiting in the area and needed to stop by somewhere for breakfast and I’m so glad we picked Stephanie’s! The service was great: the waitstaff was extremely attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, and they were exceptionally generous portions at good prices. We all got something off of the specials list and were not disappointed(I would particularly recommend the apple cider pancakes). Also: cash only

Stephanie’s is a hopping place. We got there at 8:45 on a Saturday morning. The place was packed and we got the last table. Within five minutes, people were waiting outside. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a «bulky.» Not being from the area, I had to ask what that was; its a hard roll. I love the term«bulky,» and I’m stealing it. Our waitress was ADORABLE, friendly, and super down to earth. She was also fast on the coffee refills and food delivery. The establishment was very clean. The coffee is delicious. My Mom ordered the same thing I did; whereas my Dad ordered the Apple Pie Stuffed French Toast and husband ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese bulky with a side of corned beef hash. Here’s where my four stars come in: my Mom and I ordered a side of the breakfast potatoes. They were«meh.» I was disappointed as some reviewers raved over them. I guess one should specify, «well done,» when ordering the potatoes. They were cooked all the way through; however, they tasted like chunky-sliced, buttered potatoes with garlic seasoning. I assumed they’d have some crisp to them. Next time I know but it made me kind of sad in my foodie heart

I had a Ruben omlet and it was absolutely amazing and loaded home fries which were good but the potatoes could have been cooked a little more. My mother in-law had blueberry pancakes which were huge and she definitely couldn’t finish them at all, and my wife had hash and eggs with loaded home fries which she said that the hash could have been cooked more but it was decent . The place was in the middle of nowhere but it was a cute little restaurant and the service was amazing and coffee was delicious. The greatest thing next to my omlet was my coffee was never empty which for a breakfast but that’s a very good thing.

I can’t understand the draw of this particular restaurant. My wife and I visited on Friday morning and while I expected it to be busy due to the long weekend we only had to wait 10 – 15 minutes to be seated. The reason for the two stars lies 100% the inability to triage the volume of customers they had and the lack of quality food. While we were seated in a somewhat short 15 minutes that process was unorganized with other customers walking in hoping to scoop the line. The wait to place a order was over 20 minutes with a solitary waitress for 20 or so seats including the counter bar. It was clear she was overwhelmed and incapable of handling the craziness that was the long weekend rush when she took a six person to go and the couple who sat after us order prior to ours. The food was largely dry and lacked anything that really set them apart taste-wise. We had ordered the South Grafton Slam and Pancakes/French toast. The toast was not soaked long enough and the pancakes were super dry. Given we had waited an HOUR to receive our food we shoveled it into our faces anyways, left the standard tip and resolved ourselves to this review. Highly recommend hitting another joint if you don’t have the patience or desire to wait an absurd amount of time for dry and mostly tasteless food.

Quite crowded on Sunday late morning. Wait to be seated reasonable at under 15 minutes. However, another 40 minutes to be served is excessive. Food was good and staff very friendly. Will return, but earlier! Returned today. All was perfect! Highly recommend.
