Ron Culp is a musical God. You would have to be a complete moron if you think you would find the latest trends in craft beers here. This is a dive bar, a beloved dive bar, not a Hipster hangout. This is the low place sung in country music. This is a smoke filled gem of entertainment. I give it one star because more would be an insult.

We were here on a tues and it was quite dead but the dj’s sound system was amazing… Some chick from florida came in and rocked the house… All drinks are very reasonably priced with dollar shot specials… All in all a great place… dj/kj was awesome even though there was only four singers he kept the rotation goin… Must go to bar… Again great sound system

Double D’s isn’t really a beer-drinker’s bar. I mean, lots of people there drink beer, but it’s no good if you’re picky. My friend asked if the bar had any IPA’s. The bartender was confused as to whether that’s a brand. Basically, if you want anything beyond domestics, go elsewhere. But if you like karaōke, dear God you should go to Double D’s. Ron Culp runs things Tuesday through Saturday, and you can tell he loves what he’s doing. The sound is terrific; the lights are spectacular; and the crowd oscillates between depressing and drunk.
