My favorite restaurant around. Liz and here staff have wonderful top quality food. Be sure to get an appetizer and the most wonderful Cozmos! Nicely decorated for comfort.

I have been here many times and it has always been fantastic. The ambience is great it’s in a old building, and the staff is very attentive. Lots of variety on the drink menu with a lot of good beers. One time I had the Jamaican beef stew which was absolutely delicious. Another time I had the duck ravioli which was so delicious and fresh. The salads here are amazing I have had them all. Burgers are excellent too. Everything I have had here has been quite good. All the ingredients here are local and fresh and it really shows in the quality and taste in the food. The owners the Jacksons are very friendly people and have created a real gem here in Gorham. I highly recommend and I will definitely return.

Love this place. My favorite spot in the area. Had the duck ravioli tonight. Loved the calamari. Can’t miss, truly a gem in the north country.

This was a great surprise. We arrived a few minutes before they opened.(5pm) which I thought was a it odd for s «pub» to not be open for afternoon drinks. We sat at the bar and had some beers. The draft list was small, but enough variety to please us. We ordered poutine fries and a pizza. Both were great and served promptly. A solid four stars.

I loved everything about this place! I left thinking this was my idea of the perfect pub. I loved the atmosphere, food, craft cocktails, music and the staff seemed great as well. I just stayed in town for one night and I am only disappointed that I can’t be a regular here. I travel through Gorham a couple times a year so now I will be sure to plan my travel to include dinner at Saalt Pub.

Eh. Service staff obviously overwhelmed. Food good, but not great. Pork was tasty but a bit overcooked for my taste. squash gnocchi was bland. Best choice in Gorham, probably. Jack johnson overplayed.

Love this place. Whenever me and my husband are in town it’s a must visit. Obviously a bit more expensive than an regular restaurant but very gourmet like taste. Definitely a place for adults.

The food was AMAZING, the service was great and atmosphere was nice. Atmosphere was soothing and calm. I am Gluten Free and I had a fantastic meal. In fact, the options were plentiful for me, which is not always the case. I got the Garlicky Chard with Salmon and my friend had a Vietnamese Beef Raman dish that she loved. Both of us are looking forward to going back there to eat there again or at Libby’s Bistro, which is on the other side of Saalt Pub.

Wow, can’t believe after the many years vacationing then buying a home, we never went before today. Our new favorite eatery in Gorham! Awesome food, great tastes, love the atmosphere, and everthing is so fresh! Liz and waitstaff very pleasant. Treat yourself and go with just adults, not so kid friendly. Defiantly going again and again!!!

Great service from Ava — perfect. We were there with 4 kids and she recommended a couple things that worked for them. But, it’s not really the place for kids. The menu is a little, I don’t know, complicated? I’d love to come back her with just my wife or some other adults. Great people here.

Awesome farm to table restaurant and pub in Gorham. It’s family run, offers a delicious seasonal menu, and has a full bar with both local brews and craft cocktails. I wasn’t a huge fan of my rhubarb gin cocktail but it was worth a try(didn’t have a ton of flavor). I had a fantastic veggie burger made with lentils and topped with an awesome pepper sauce. Everything is made in house, including the chips and the buns. My friends all enjoyed their meals as well and have raved about dishes they’ve had in the past, as well. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable and I really enjoyed my evening among friends. Service was friendly and I’m pretty sure he was the teenage son of the owner. I’m so happy that I finnally got to try out Saalt because I was certainly not disapointed.

I’m astounded that this place is still in business. To start off-the food… fantastic. Although we only had an appetizer(we will get to why in a moment), it was obvious that the cook knows what’s going on in the kitchen. Ok… now to the 1 star rating. We arrived in Gorham around 6 on a Sunday night-this was the first place that we ran across and it looked decent so we stopped in. Walk up the stairs, in the door, to a full bar and a mostly full restaurant. Ask the bartender if we can take one of the tables, and sure no problem. He brings over the menus, and makes it a point to hand me the beer menu and say«there’s the important stuff anyway…». We order a couple beers, and in between making a hotel reservation on our phones, are scanning the menu. The waiter(who was about 14) asks us what we would like to eat. We responded«hmm…not really sure what we are doing. Give us a few minutes.» Word for word. About three minutes later, a woman comes over and says«So are we getting food or what?» Taken aback, we kind of stumbled through an «uh, I dunno, still figuring it out…» Kind of answer. She says«We aren’t really a sit and drink a beer kind of place. There are other places around here if you want to do that. We have people waiting on tables and if you aren’t going to eat you need to go somewhere else». Mind you… there was a table open behind her, and no one standing at the door. We just kind of said ok, because what else do you say to that. Trying to make nice, but not wanting to really spend any more money here, we order an appetizer, but keep the menus to look over. The app comes out(which was pretty good), and within two minutes she’s back at our table, asking what our main course was going to be. Literally. Within two minutes. If that. At this point, I was actually done with her, so I responded«Ya know, we actually thought this place looked pretty nice. We planned on doing dinner, three beers or so each, etc. Of course, we are now not doing that because of your rude behavior». She responds«Yeah I’m sure. I’m sure. What are you guys camping and we’re getting rained out and needed a place to sit?» Obviously this didn’t sit well with me and she proceeded-for FIVEFULLMINUTES– to stand at our table and ARGUE with us! Argue about how long she’s been in business, how she knows how this works, hoe she knew we weren’t going to buy anything anyway. We were dressed the same if not better than anyone else there, clean, showered, etc. NOT stinky or straight off a trail. So we did what anyone with any sense would do-paid the bill, sat at the table while we finished our appetizer and beers, WHILESHESTOODATOURTABLEWAITINGONUSTOFINISH.

Discovered this gem by accident after a long hike and am always looking forward to my next visit. The menu isn’t large but it’s got something for everyone and it’s very well executed. They have great selection of premium beers and cocktails. The staff is very friendly and the service is excellent.

Oh my! What a gem this pub is! Even though we waited over 30 minutes for seat it was well worth it. We ended up at the bar but that was fine as it is comfy and pleasant. We were not extremely hungry so opted to share 2 dishes with the assurance we could order more if need be. We decided to order the chorizo ravioli and the Thai shrimp bowl. The ravioli was very good with a guacamole sauce and fresh salsa but I didn’t get the chorizo flavor I had been anticipating. The Thai shrimp bowl was out of this world delicious, the shrimp was tender and perfectly cooked with a flavorful coconut broth with some heat. Absolutely perfection. We decided to share a dessert as we had left room for it and ordered an apple pastry concoction with caramel sauce and whipped cream. It was a huge portion and heavenly, I only wish it had been served slightly warm. Prices are very reasonable, portions large, staff attentive and friendly. One gets the feeling locals frequent this pub and with good reason.
